Squid Game Jung Ho Yeon talks about HER BOYFRIEND | LEE Dong Hwi | Reply 1988 | Extreme Occupation

Before Squid Game, not many people outside the fashion industry had heard of the model Chung Hyun. The Netflix series made her an overnight star and changed her life forever. Before its release, she had 400,000 followers on Instagram. Now, that number has jumped to nearly 21.6 million. Naturally, her boyfriend also received a lot of attention when it was revealed that she had been dating a fellow Korean actor since 2015. Her boyfriend is Lee Dong Hwi, who she sees as a key mentor in her rise to fame. She told Harold Pop, Since he's also an actor, he's a good senior, a good friend, and a good person. He cheers me on a lot, and he worries for me as well. He's sort of like a dad. It's ironic that the world wanted to know more about the mysterious boyfriend, because when the two acknowledged they were dating in January 2016, he was much more famous than she was.
