Brevard is the jumping off point for the classic rugged trails of North Carolina,
sought after for challenging rocks, exposed roots, and truly technical descents. Brevard
tires are made to conquer all of that. Perfect for aggressive trail bikes like Fuel EX,
or enduro bikes like Slash, these burly tires feature an aggressive tread pattern
that provides exceptional cornering and braking traction in mixed and loose conditions.
A puncture resistant construction provides extra durability, and they're available in
three trim options, so no matter what your budget is, or what level of flat protection you desire,
you can get the grip you need to brave the baddest trails in places like Brevard.
Let's start with our strongest Brevard tire, Brevard RSL SE. SE is short for
Super Enduro, and these tires are perfect for enduro riding and heavy EMTB use.
They're constructed with a 60 TPI casing and get three layers of protection.
Bead to bead puncture protection, an extra layer of sidewall support,
and pinch flat protection at the bead. Our triple compound rubber provides the best
balance of rolling speed and grip with incredibly soft shoulders, a medium center tread,
and a firmer rubber base to provide support. Next up, Brevard RSL XT, a high performing trail tire.
The RSL casing boasts 120 threads per inch for a smoother ride, and the XT construction has you
covered from bead to bead to prevent punctures and cuts with an extra layer of pinch flat protection.
Brevard RSL XT also gets our triple compound rubber for superior grip and control.
Brevard Pro XR hits a more competitive price point with a less supple 60 TPI casing,
an XR construction that prioritizes sidewall cut protection,
and it gets our trail dual compound rubber. Brevard tires are all 2.5 inches wide and
available in both 29 and 27.5 sizes, with tan wall options sprinkled in.
If you want to roll over the type of rocks and roots that make Brevard North Carolina
a trail bike hotspot, you want Bontrager Brevard.
