Rosie from My Nutritional Adventure is here to show us a fantastic recipe idea.
This is a really good dessert on the run. It takes 10 seconds to make and it's an ice cream,
isn't it? Absolutely, yes. I like to call this matcha ice cream. Okay, so it's matcha,
which is basically freeze-dried green tea. Okay, so loads of antioxidants, frozen banana,
which most of us always have. We've just chopped them up, put them in the freezer,
and a little bit of your milk of choice. So I personally love almond milk because it's got
most of the protein in. You can use coconut milk, whatever preference that you want.
You can use normal milk. Yeah, macadamia, yeah, absolutely. So very easy, this one,
it all just goes in the blender. Okay, so these do need to be frozen rock hard,
just like that. Yeah, you want that creamy consistency. Okay, all right, so let's get
these in the blender. So you have to do that. And how many bananas are here? That's probably
about two bananas. Yeah, so this is my current late-night indulgence. It's such an easy one.
Okay, it's so much better than reaching for the normal ice cream. So it's dairy-free,
which we love as well. Okay, so what we do after that one is we just get that matcha,
and I love matcha. Okay, so the more antioxidants, the better. Anti-aging,
none of us are getting any younger. Oh no, we're not. So what we want to do is,
this is going to give it a gorgeous green colour, okay, the colour that people think ice cream
should never be. Green tea ice cream. Green tea ice cream, yeah. So I've got about a good
tablespoon there, okay, so I'm going to plop that one in there. Sure. And what I want you to do is
I want you to just plop that almond milk. That's about three tablespoons of whatever nut milk you're
after, or normal milk. Okay. There we go. So we don't want to have too much because we don't want
it to turn into a real Mr Whippy, okay. We do want to have a bit of a soft serve, but we're going to
put it in the freezer anyway to get that nice consistency. All yours. All right, so what we're
going to do is we're just going to pulse. Ooh la la, that is beautiful. Look how shiny that is.
All right, so I think that will be ready in the freezer. Now if you want to grab that out,
I've put a little bit of banana here just to make sure it's got a nice base because it does like to
melt quite quickly. And it tastes so good with it too, doesn't it? Yeah, absolutely. Complements
it perfectly. Yeah. And look at that. Yeah, I'm happy with that. Firmed up nicely. Once again,
you've done well. Okay, let's do that. You've done well. I'm just a great eater of all your desserts
now. Oh, that colour. I'm just going to get a nice, big, generous scoop. Fabulous. And then
onto his little nest, into his little banana nest there. Fantastic. That looks very nice.
And there's only three ingredients in this. Fast, easy. Let's have a taste. Taste it. Okay.
It's actually really good. It's sweet enough from the bananas. Absolutely. And if it's not
sweet enough and you find that a little bit too bitter, all you got to do is add a little bit
stevia when you're in that blending phase. Get it to what matches your palate. Really love that.
Very happy with that. Perfect. A new little snack that's going straight into my freezer.
Yum.
