Another transmission from Apex TV We take a look at a viral image that claims to show a mermaid inside a shark's stomach. The image, which originated on Facebook and soon spread to all corners of the internet, shows what looks like a humanoid figure inside the shark. Many have gone as far as to claim that the image depicts a mermaid and is proof that mermaids actually exist. Many sites have come to say that the picture is a hoax, and was created as a way to get people's personal information. Here's how the hoax worked. A viral post was made on Facebook telling users to click a link to see the full video of the mermaid inside the shark's stomach. Then the website would ask for personal information to see the video. The video doesn't exist and this image is said to be part of the scam. The fact that the image was part of a scam hasn't stopped many people from believing that the figure inside the shark is actually a mermaid. They have admitted that while a video may not exist, the picture is still evidence for the existence of mermaids. As for what the figure inside the shark really is, it is quite unclear. A few people have come to the conclusion that the image depicts human remains, while others maintain that it simply shows a seal that looks like a humanoid. What do you think?
