Today we're gonna try ramen for the first time Amore, do you know why?
Why?
Because we need to see if they make a good pasta, like the Italians make pasta, so we're
gonna try appetizer, if they are good appetizer, and then a sweet dessert, what they're gonna
have.
Okay, well, it sounds like we've got some eating to do.
Yeah, we have to go to eating and let's see if Japanese can beat Italians in the cuisine.
Italians just took the noodles from the Asian countries, the Asian countries were the first
But we make better, and then it's a lot of polemic over there, let's see who's gonna
make that, let's judge everything like always, and then yes, this is a channel, okay, maybe
we don't like everything, but when we like it, it is deserved to be liked.
So let's see if the Japanese, they're gonna be up there.
I know what you're thinking, who has never had real ramen before?
These people, these people have not.
But the lady here who helped us check out was so nice, she gave us many recommendations,
so we're gonna try three different of their most popular ramen and some sides.
Vegetable dumplings, she said this is her favorite appetizer.
Take a look at that, wow, I'm gonna try it.
A professional with your chopsticks, I don't know how to do it.
Let me see the skill.
Oh, you got it, this is easier than the noodles.
Ready?
Yeah.
Everything.
Really good, right?
I need a plate of this just for myself.
Yeah, I mean, look at that.
This is fantastic, oh my gosh, that's delicious.
So beautiful.
You get one more, who gets the last one?
I don't know.
FF.
I'm a professional, huh?
Yeah, you're really great, I'm surprised.
We might need another order of these.
Wow, what do we have?
So, because we're in Nashville, they have a hot chicken bun.
Oh my gosh.
So this is the Nashville hot chicken bun, look how soft that is.
Should I go for it?
You go for it because you are the Nashville girl.
Sugar.
Ah, with your hands, you use the chopsticks?
Yeah, do the chopsticks.
It's better than the other one.
You're going to love it, try it.
Don't eat it with the chopsticks, you're not supposed to.
We are in the restaurant.
I'm going to let everybody in the comments say something to you about this.
Oh lord.
I like more the other ones, they are more original.
Well, yes, but they're both delicious.
Nine of the ten.
Manjabile.
It's really good, spicy, correct.
I like it.
I've got chopsticks, spoons, and napkins, do we need forks?
No shame.
What's the way?
So basically, how I really recommend it is using the chopsticks as a shovel with the spoon.
Okay.
And like holding the broth here and eating with chopsticks and then sipping the spoon,
if that makes sense.
That sounds like a lot of coordination.
Because I usually just use chopsticks and then there would be so much broth left and
I just missed a lot of that flavor.
Okay.
So I really recommend trying to do both at the same time.
I like that idea.
Okay, I'm going to go for that.
I'll give you a fork as well, just in case the chopsticks are difficult.
Okay.
It took me years to learn this.
Thank you.
It smells fantastic.
It really does.
So I can't wait to try it.
We dig in?
Yeah, go for it.
Let's see if the Japanese make pasta like Italians.
You know, one thing, this reminds me of cartoons.
You know the cartoons?
Wow.
I don't know what is it, but wow.
One thing I need to say, you know, in Italy, we don't have this restaurant, you know.
Italy, pizza, pizza, pizza.
So one negative point for Italy is culture.
Okay, if you go Milan, but all over Italy, you don't find this thing, you know.
Right.
So in this small country.
So America, you're winning for this.
So she said, noodles with the chopsticks and broth with the spoon at the same time.
So you get a little bit of broth and a little bit of noodles in your mouth.
It's too complicated.
So I like this.
Oh, like...
Yeah, yeah, like that.
Let's see if the cooking noodles like Italians.
Please.
These are the original noodles.
It's true.
They know what they're doing more than you.
I need to say, the noodles is 10 of the 10.
Like consistency, like how tasty it is.
Like, it's not American pasta.
This is...
You can't throw this on the wall and let it stick.
No.
This is...
Anything is surprising because it's in the broth.
So, you know.
Yeah.
Fantastic.
Oh, wow.
What was that? Pork?
So...
Flavorful?
Yeah, but so, like, melty.
This is a...
Delicate?
This is a top in the cuisine.
Wow.
Delicious, huh?
Delicious.
Let's eat this pasta.
I don't know how you're so good at the chopsticks.
And I'm not.
Do you need a fork?
No.
The shame.
I'm not doing it.
The shame.
I'm not doing it.
It's here for you.
I'm not doing it.
Oh, wow.
Professional.
Oh, my gosh.
That's one of the best things I've ever eaten.
Yeah.
Wow.
I wanna see your opinion with the meat.
Do you know why?
Because you're really picky in the meat.
I am really picky.
So, like, you don't like, usually, meat.
Like, this kind of meat.
It's good.
It's good?
But, like you said, I'm not the biggest meat fan.
I prefer the noodle-ies.
Who's gonna eat that amazing egg?
Good question.
Like, go ahead.
You can go ahead.
Go to the owner to eat the egg.
I'm scared.
It's good.
It's good?
Nice.
So, what is the first?
What is this dish?
This, I think, is the traditional one.
I'm gonna write it down because I need to see.
My pronunciation is gonna be terrible, but I'll write it down here.
This one has more things inside of it.
Yeah, I guess the noodle's gonna be cooked, doesn't matter what, good.
So, you need to judge the other ones.
This, I like even better.
Really?
This is delicious more.
You have to try it.
Look at the flavor.
It's so rich.
So.
Yeah, do the egg.
I'm gonna give...
The pasta's different here, right?
It is different.
It's like spaghettini.
It's thinner.
Angel hair.
Mushrooms?
I don't know.
It's got a richer flavor, though.
Try the egg.
I prefer the other one.
Really?
This is my favorite.
But still a 10, eh?
Still on top.
I was thinking...
Better the egg?
It doesn't have much flavor.
No flavor.
But, um...
Maybe better.
It's more nutritious.
It stinks.
I'm sorry.
I have no idea what that is.
Maybe another type of pork.
No?
Okay.
Just the noodles and the broth.
If I need evaluation, this meal.
Like, see this ramen.
You prefer the other one.
I give a 5.
Really?
Yeah.
I don't know.
Pasta, it's a 10.
Is the meat pork again?
I don't know.
I don't like.
And, um...
I don't know where is this.
Where is that.
The egg don't give me...
They push it.
So, yeah.
For me, it's a...
A 5.
Okay.
Yeah.
I still like the broth.
And I like the noodles.
And this stuff.
I guess it's some kind of...
Vegetable.
Cabbage.
I don't know.
I like this one.
I was thinking it was mushrooms.
No.
I don't think so.
I think it's some kind of vegetable.
So, what is your evaluation for this ramen?
7.5.
Still positive.
Still positive, yeah.
Why?
Just for the pasta?
Or the flavor?
The soup?
I like the flavor.
I like the pasta.
The meat brings it down for me.
If this was not like that, it would be higher.
I think the other one scores higher for me.
But I still like both of them.
And this one I remember.
It's the miso.
This is just vegetables.
Or this is meat.
I think there's meat here too.
So, spaghettini.
Corn.
We call it spaghettini?
I mean pasta.
So they have the bean sprouts.
Corn.
Pasta.
I don't know what that is.
A pepper?
Pepper.
Egg.
And this is some kind of meat, I guess.
Better?
Better meat.
This is another good one.
Okay, so the flavor's good.
Yep, get your little spoon.
Twirl it up.
Perfect.
It worked.
How is it compared to the first one that you loved?
Nine point and a half.
Oh, so the first one's still the winner, but this one's close.
It's close.
I want to see your opinion.
I think this can maybe is your favorite.
Good.
It's your favorite.
No?
I don't know.
It's like, it's up there with the first one.
Yeah.
But I'm not sure I can decide.
But here you like the meat, or spag, the other one.
That's why I was thinking, I was thinking for you it's better this.
I need to try all the little pieces.
Yeah.
There's a bigger range of flavors here.
Yeah.
This is delicious.
I can't decide.
It is about this.
Or this.
This is my winner.
Okay, good.
Because this is my winner.
This is my winner.
It's decided.
You are going to be the one to try the boba first.
Oh, it's you.
No.
So cute.
Again.
It's you.
I already said, this is the Japanese.
What is your favorite cartoon, Japanese cartoon?
Dragon Ball.
I guess.
I watched Dragon Ball a little bit, but I was more like a Disney cartoon person.
The best cartoons was all Japanese.
Mila and Shiro.
Mila and Shiro, the funny boy.
You never watched it?
No, I don't know what you're talking about.
Ninja Turtles is Japanese.
Oh, I don't know.
It's American?
I don't know.
Mila and Shiro.
Doraemon.
Do it.
What is, guys, your favorite Japanese cartoon?
Come on, Dragon Ball Z.
Dragon Ball, I guess.
Oh, come on.
What did you do?
It's all over your sweater.
Embarrassing.
It's like using a fork for the ramen.
Coffee?
It's like a milk tea, I think.
Who is that?
It's the little balls.
Tapioca.
You see those things at the bottom?
Yeah, but what is it?
It's like a tapioca, I think.
What is tapioca?
I don't know.
Coffee and tapioca.
What do you think?
Approved.
D.H.E.
D.H.E., amore.
Es buenisimo.
Wow, your face was not saying D.H.E.
Your face was confused.
Because the balls are coming up fast, so you have a weird feeling.
I'm going to try it.
You see it?
I saw it.
Boom, boom.
It's dangerous.
It's a choke.
It's coffee.
I don't know.
I can't taste it without getting bit by the ball.
It's delicious.
It's so fun to see it.
One went down without chewing.
Yes, they are dangerous.
That's why.
I want to see what we got.
We don't know.
Okay, but...
At least it's not fish.
Caviar.
Fish eggs.
It's approved.
Yeah.
I like the flavor.
I'm going to eat it again, though.
A.
We just came out from the ramen place.
Yeah, we have our little ramen.
So what is the experience?
In my opinion, it's a really great experience.
You, Amara?
I thought it was fantastic.
It's fantastic.
It's not beating the Indian cuisines for now.
It's one step low because of the varieties.
Yeah.
You know?
But delicious.
Really good experience.
Definitely a repeat.
From the Italian, I can always complain.
I'm going to say for that, we are good this time.
I'm so glad I got to finally taste the real pasta.
