DISNEY TREASURE DAY 2- BEHIND THE SCENES, PIRATE NIGHT AND MORE!

Good morning from day two on the Disney Treasure. It's very quiet right now. I feel like a lot of people are still sleeping. We are off to do some interviews. It's not even seven o'clock in the morning yet, but we've got a lot of content to capture today. Camera rolling. This is our Grand Hall Bronx. This is the first time we've ever done three characters before us. I'm a big fan of Disney characters, and Disney characters have some different outfits too. I'm distracted because Minnie Mouse is here, and you gotta see this outfit. Minnie, girl, work it, work it. Good morning. She's ready for an adventure on the Treasure. Minnie, are you so happy to be here too? It's beautiful, right? She absolutely does. That's amazing. I'll see you later. Thank you all so much. I want to start everything that way, every show, every interview. Amazing. That is part of the amazing entertainment you'll not only experience on board on the Disney Treasure, but at Plaza de Coco, where we ate last night, and it is incredible. It's the storytelling of Disney brought to life through the food, the entertainment, the atmosphere. I am here with Ida. I was speechless last night when we walked in. This place is incredible. It is Christina K. The two places I feel most at home in the world is Disney and a stage, and we are on a Disney stage right now on the Disney Treasure, and I'm with a fellow New Yorker, Jenny. Hi, Christina. Hi, girl. I am so excited to talk the entertainment on board at the Walt Disney Theater. Oh, my goodness. Last night, we saw Seize the Adventure. Here in the Walt Disney Theater, this is where we perform our Broadway-style musicals. It truly is Broadway-style. Absolutely. We know we're from New York. That's right. That's right. We know what we're talking about. Tonight, you're going to get to see the Tale of Moana. Not only is the Tale of Moana brand new to Disney Cruise Line, this is the first-ever stage adaptation of Moana. I feel so honored to get to watch it tonight. We're so honored to have gotten the chance to create it. Today has been super magical. Early start, but now we've been caffeinated. We have some breakfast, but we've gotten to do so many cool interviews. I got to go on the stage at the Walt Disney Theater, talk to some fellow Long Islanders, too, which was awesome. It's been a good day. It's been a busy day. It's only 9.02, and I haven't really even begun yet, but I'm okay with that. You know the Disney cast members make the Disney experience even more magical. I have been so blessed this year to get to hang out with Shannon, one of our favorite Disney ambassadors in Walt Disney World, but now we're on the Seize together. We're on the Disney Trash. How is this real life? I know. I love the trash. I keep pinching myself. I'll pinch you, too. Pinch me. Like seeing the Broadway-style shows. Okay. Can we talk about Seize the Adventure last night? Let's talk about it. Where to begin? I think someone took the inside of my brain and said, okay, she loves Goofy and Disney music. He's going to sing her favorite songs. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? I don't want to spoil anything for any of the listeners, but the crush moment and the Princess Tiana moment. All of it. All of the moments. Jaw to the floor. If you are a fan of the Disney parks, like Finding Nemo, the musical, go see the show. All the shows on board. I always ask, don't you want to, in the hallway scene, go through those doors? Yes. And you get to on board the Disney Trash. They did a beautiful job with the ship. And also for the kids. Yes. The Oceaneer. I want to go down the slide. They have some of the coolest. Oh, you can go down the slide. I mean, I've done it, so you can do it. Wait, where's my invitation? Where was mine? Let's go after this. After this, we'll go down the slide. Aqua Mouse. Oh my gosh. The Attraction at Sea. Have you written it yet? I went on the one on the Wish. I haven't written on the version here yet, but I'm so excited. Can we write it together? Yes. Can you promise that right now? Okay. It's locked in. Because I want to experience it and I want to experience it along my family, alongside my family. You're my family. Oh my God, you're going to make me cry. The world is a stage. Back to back, Dawn. What you got there? This is a Judy Hopps Sahara Square Cupcake. It's a carrot cake with lemon frosting and berry compote. That's a good carrot cake. Working hard again, huh? You earned it. Someone's got to do it. You've earned it. You've been going all day. Say a little hello, everyone. Here we are. Ready? Dapper as always. Always captain. Oh yes, got to represent always. Ready? Yes. Of course. How are you, bud? Good, how are you doing? Are you enjoying your time here? My cheeks hurt. I can't help but smile. I've been smiling for the past two days. I know. It's amazing on this ship. It's a beautiful ship, right? Some of the most beloved attractions of the theme parks, right? It's beautiful. We were just talking about 20,000 Leagues. Yeah. The childhood, the 90s. If you know, you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember going in with my dad and thinking I was really in a submarine. I'm like, oh my gosh, where are we going here? Yeah, I was a little scared as a kid. I don't know what it is, but I'm trying it. Okay, there's a spoon too if you don't want to sip it. Caramel coffee, gingerbread-y. That's actually really good. I'm not a huge caramel person, but once it's mixed in, it's really good. Okay, here's a question. You know what's coming now, right? Oh, I'm sorry. Let's see. Better than the hot chocolate at Mary Mary, but not as good as the dark hot chocolate. That's still the bar for beverages. Okay, here we go. All right, oh yeah, okay, so there we go. So yeah, it's close, so close. I can't stop smiling, and right now all my senses are going crazy. I smell the food, and it's appropriate because we're talking to my new friend Joe about dining on the Disney Treasure. Well, dining is a big part of the experience here. So first, you know this. Disney knows families better than anybody, and when it comes to dining, we know how important the meals are. When we think about dining aboard the Disney Treasure, it is all about two things. It is about storytelling and service. Both of those things Disney goes above and beyond with, yeah. And a little indulgence too, right? You have to have that. You have to. So I'll just say storytelling from a dining point of view on board the ship. You went to Plaza de Coco last night. Unbelievable experience. I mean, the food was incredible, but the whole atmosphere and the vibe, you really feel like a family. It brings every table together. We were singing, we were dancing, we were crying. It was amazing. Well, you got the full experience then. One of the beautiful parts about Plaza de Coco is, it's the first ever Coco-themed dining experience. The service is a huge part, so you know this. We invented rotational dining. And talk about being purpose-built for families. You go from one restaurant to another, so you get to experience different things. All of them, yeah. But your serving staff comes with you, so they know you. On the second night, they know your favorite drink. They know that you might like a little extra pepper. Your food allergies. That's a big one for me. All of it, 100%. And so our crew are incredible. They take care of our guests, and we hear it again and again and again. Having the same serving staff in a new restaurant is a gift. It's really a gift. So anyway. And then you have all of this food surrounding you here available around the clock. We're in front of Donald's Cantina. The tacos smell amazing right now, Joe. They are. Get them. The good thing is you can get them in between breaks, maybe when you're done here. So food is a big part of the experience. We hope you have a great time. And you can't help but have a good time on the Disney Treasure, and your taste buds will be happy. Trust me. That's so cool. Oh my gosh. If there's a sink. Yep, that's the drink shower. That's the drink shower. It's not even a sink. It's like a sofa in there. The tile work. Somebody's like, ugh. Out of a stateroom. I could be standing in a stateroom. Look at even the plunger. Wow. This is an easy one. I'm gonna take this one. When I bet you, I bet you. That's the name of this. The whole family can see how. In the closet, in a walk-in. This is like, yeah, this is the dream. This still wouldn't be enough to put all my Disney stuff, but yeah. Pleasure, pleasure. No, what? That's the coolest thing. Hi, I'm Christina Kay. Welcome to my crib on the Disney Treasure. This is the Raja Suite, aka bougie suite. This is nice. If I could afford this interior design, this is what my apartment would look like. Or I can just move here. That would be nice too. This is probably the nicest staircase I've ever walked down. Thanks for coming to my crib. Totally. I have been talking to so many people today on the Disney Treasure, and every single one of them has mentioned that one of their top three places is where I'm standing right now, Periscope Pub. I am with Rafa. I cannot believe how cool this is. I get why everyone was talking about it. I know. It's really cool. I really love this. This is one of my favorite places because as the moment you come in, you really feel that you are immersed in this atmosphere of being inside of a submarine. Periscope Pub is inspired by the movie 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Captain Nemo has invited us into one of his dens and see all the things that he has collected inside the Nautilus. It's really, really cool. As you were talking, I just saw a fish go up too. That's so cool. Exactly. That's what makes it very unique because you're sitting here having a drink, and then you can see all this atmosphere. You can see everything. You feel like you're inside the submarine. Also, nostalgia vibes when I walked in too because I grew up going to Walt Disney World in the 90s, so 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and I can almost hear the attraction when I walked in. It's so cool. You are a Disney fan. Look at how much shoe in that outfit. All right, quiet on the set. How cool is this? We have had so much fun taking the photos. And my sister was trying to redeem herself for some of the ones from the last time. So maybe I'll insert a picture here. It's so good. Stop eating the bread, Melissa. Why? Stop eating the bread. Why? Because I ordered every single appetizer on the menu, plus a soup, plus five desserts. No, you did not. Four. Oh, my God. Four desserts. It's got caramelized onion dip. The bread is really good. How am I supposed to stop? How could she say no to that? It's a problem. To our celebration of heroes. As you dine, we will drop in on your favorite heroes, both around the world and across the galaxy. Hello, Robert. We're in the middle of a celebration dinner here on our ship. You call that a ship? And what are you celebrating? We are celebrating the heroes who keep us all safe. Wow. Who prefers to be called Star-Lord? I prefer to call him something that I can't say I can't believe that's what you pick out of all of us. I saved the galaxy three times and I don't see no pictures of me. No one cares that I'm your hero. The monado is the ship. Oh, so that's yeah. Nailed it. What'd you say? And this is my appetizer. She also had bread. She just skipped the bread. She's having a moment. I don't even know what this is. I don't know, but it was so good. I wasn't going to order it, but the waitress suggested it. It's my favorite thing so far. And you had it evened out to all the appetizers. So how would you rank them? One. One. There you have it. And you ordered a soup still too, right? Thank you. Oh, wow. Yours looks good. Oh, do it. I mean it. You did all this for me. Now everyone knows I'm a hero. What are you Terrans looking at, huh? I just got something in my eye. You're going to find some drops. You all go ahead. Celebrate already. This is my dessert. Dairy-free. We've got one, two, three. I didn't even have to prepare. I said every dessert. So we don't get hit by that cannonball. This ship is mine. It might be a bit of a water shoes situation, I'm not sure. Yeah. No one pulls off a water suit like you do. It's true. Just make sure you're checking that Navigator app so you don't miss it.
