In the last seven years, we've grown and changed a lot. We're not the same people we were when we first met. You've been by my side and seen me through so much. In so many ways, I grew into an adult with you by my side. You are my best friend, the person I love waking up to, and love coming home to. You've been there for me, for my best days and all my worst, and you love me through it all. I could always count on you to show up no matter what was going on between us, and every time I needed you, you were there. We both have patience, and as anyone will tell you, timing is the one thing that you can't control, so you need to trust the moment. It's a lesson I hold true in my life today. I don't rush things. Trust that everything will fall into place at the perfect time, and it did. Our story started as two people on such plain-line trajectories, and then when we met, you were my catalyst to change. My confidence, my voice, reason, my confidant, and you truly became my partner. You ignited a fire inside of me that made me want to be the best version of myself, to challenge every fear I had. Only you and I understand the weight of that time in our lives, and know how challenging it was, but it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life, and I owe that to you. In all these scary steps and challenges I have faced in my life, you supported me, gave me courage, love, kindness, reason, and when needed, the extra kick in the ass to keep strong. Our love story wasn't easy. It all had some speed bumps and hills, and sometimes what we felt like insurmountable mountains to overcome. We went through some of life's hardest challenges, and it definitely didn't come naturally, but we learned and worked together no matter what. We always found our way back to each other. You look so beautiful today. Absolutely stunning. This dress is amazing. You are intelligent, charismatic, and just genuinely a true-hearted individual that has made me into a better person. You're an amazing mother to Rico and Whistler. You're a patient, an amazing teacher, and an even better provider of emotional love. I'm so excited for our baby to have you as their mother. They have no idea how lucky they are. We'll promise to be your soft place to land, to love all the versions of you, and to never ever give up on us. I promise to be patient. I also promise to celebrate and decorate for every holiday. Always keep the house stocked with candy. I still pinch myself when I pause for a second and look at the life we've created together. I love you, and I can't wait to continue writing our story. In sharing your vows, we respect the covenant of marriage you have made here to this day for each one of us as a witness.
