Women in the Arts Exhibit

Our mission is to promote and recognize the talent and skill and work of women artists. I definitely felt like I was meant to submit my painting to this because of how relevant it is. It's very, very relevant. It's everything that's going on in the world right now. When I saw this Women of the Arts and the thought process of empowering women, that really spoke to me. I thought that'd be really cool to be in that, you know, because you have a story to tell. And I definitely want to empower women to get them out of situations like that, to go to the other side and to walk past that fear and take that first step. You never know what's going to lead you.
