Hello guys, welcome back.
Hyun Bin recently made a special appearance on MBC's Perfect Day radio broadcast, marking
his first radio guesting in 14 years.
During the interview, he opened up about some heartwarming moments with his wife, Sun Ye-jin,
sharing insights into their relationship.
At one point, the interviewer asked Hyun Bin if he had seen what Sun Ye-jin had said about
him in the past, particularly her comment about falling for his personality.
Hyun Bin smiled and confirmed, saying,
Yes, I saw it.
The interviewer then mentioned that Sun Ye-jin had described him as being like a
scholar and asked if he agreed with that comparison.
Hyun Bin laughed and humbly responded,
I'm not a scholar.
But then added,
I agree though.
The conversation then shifted to a more personal reflection on his wife.
The interviewer noted that Sun Ye-jin had mentioned Hyun Bin's personality being similar
to that of a seonbi, a term referring to a scholar with a noble character.
The question was then posed,
If he were to return such a compliment to Sun Ye-jin, what would he say?
Hyun Bin expressed deep admiration for her, saying,
One of the things I envy about Ye-jin and want to emulate is her diligence.
She is incredibly diligent and consistent in everything she does and I think that's
really amazing.
Hyun Bin's words revealed his genuine love and respect for his wife.
He expressed how proud he feels to be her husband, and it's clear from his interviews
that he is constantly in awe of everything she does.
His affection for her is so evident when he speaks about their family, and he often shows
admiration for her accomplishments.
In addition to his personal reflections on family, Hyun Bin also discussed the challenges
he faced while filming Harbin, a project that pushed him to his limits.
He shared,
I cried in front of the director several times.
The weight on my shoulders was so heavy that I wanted to release my emotions but I couldn't
fully do it.
So I drank and complained while filming.
It was the time I spent the most sincerity in my life as an actor.
