Katy Perry on attending Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ and finding out she was pregnant | Capital

Hi everyone, it's Katy Perry, and this is called The Story Behind the Post with Capital. The first post is a 13-year-old me in a recording studio. I remember this day so specifically. I remember the style, I remember the vintage belt, I remember the diesel jeans, and I just remember singing my gospel songs and loving the Lord, just being a cutie little 13-year-old wannabe pop star. This is when I went to see The Heiress Tour in Australia. I actually went and did a show in Australia very quickly, and I had one day off before the show, and I was like, hey girl, I'm gonna come to this show. And she was so excited, and I was so excited. People gave me bracelets, and I think Rita Ora gave me a bracelet. I loved it. It's just like a community. It's an adorable, sweet community, and I got to see her, and we got to catch up, and I love her so much. Okay, XLix. That's what it looks like. It's the Roman numerals for my Super Bowl. After I do a big thing, usually a tour, I always bring a tattoo artist out to give me and everyone else a tattoo that kind of commemorates the moment. And playing Super Bowl is a big moment, especially in the States, and so I brought a tattoo artist, and we all got the Roman numerals for the Super Bowl that I played. Oh yes, here I am on vacation with my partner, Orlando, hoping not to fall off the end of the world. But if I do, it will be with him. Okay, here I am with Max Martin, looking like he's a member of Radiohead in 2007. Gosh, I know the smell of this outfit. I'm very, like, clothes, like, I love, obviously. This shirt is a Queen shirt. I love them. They have been, like, my favorite band forever. And I got this jacket in Japan on one of my first trips. Here's Max Martin. He's, like, kind of like an up-and-coming producer. You may not know any of his songs. But, like, look at these. He's wearing Sambas before everybody wore Sambas. And we are, I think, making I Kissed a Girl here in New York City. Here is my P-Stick test for when I conceived my daughter, Daisy Duff Bloom. I remember, and Orlando was gone, and I called him, I FaceTimed him while I was on a hike, and I was like, guess what? And we had wished for her so much and had set every intention, and we just got our biggest gift. And it's the best decision I ever made. And I still have it. And that's weird, but it's not, I don't care. Do you have the P-Stick? Yeah, of course. Where is it? Oh, I don't know. It's in a drawer. It's in a drawer with lots of things. You know what else is in a drawer? It's, like, it's probably right next to Orlando's, like, Legolas ears. Just, like, all the most important things. Here I am, taking a nap on stairs. When I put out Witness, I did, like, a real live Witness livestream for days on end. People could actually see me sleep. I think it's still on the internet. This is what my fans use against me when they are wanting new music and, or things from me. They are curled up in the fetal position, just saying, when are you going to feed us? And I am feeding you right now, and I'm going to feed you more. Here I am, oh my gosh, with Kitty Purry R.I.P., and I remember I was living in Hollywood. This is my cat. It's, like, the only, well, I've had two cats, but this is my major cat that made a really big impression on me. My fans are called the Kitty Cats, probably because of her and my relationship with her. She is now passed on. She will come back, I'm sure. Her name was Kitty Purry, so it was Kitty Purry and Kitty Purry. God, I love, love plays on words. Oh, and here I am with Charlie and Ice. It's at the Billboard Woman of Music Awards show that we were all at months before my first song, Woman's World, came out, and I just had this feeling, and I said, it's a woman's world, you're lucky to be living in it. Here I am dressed up as some ginger, like the root. My sister had a 40th birthday party, and the theme of the birthday party, she's a redhead, so she was, she said to come dress as your favorite ginger, and I was like, I got to. Kidding. Here's Orlando. So we got pregnant during the pandemic and had a gender reveal, a very, like, small quaint one with a homemade cake. It was just, like, a pink cake because she's a girl. Really the whole time, all I wanted to do was smash in his face, and I did, and here he is, still so happy that I traumatized him. That was the story behind the post. I'm Katy Perry. Woo!
