Lewis Hamilton's FERRARI debut!

Lewis Hamilton has done his very first laps as a Ferrari driver and the pictures on screen you're looking at right now are him in a Ferrari and it's still pretty hard to believe. He's driving the SF23 currently at Fiorano the Maranello test circuit. Now there was a scheduled stream on the Italian Sky Sports F1 YouTube channel which is due to go live 11 o'clock local time so 10 o'clock UK time. Now I assume there's going to be an interview there's going to be some behind the scenes on that. It doesn't seem to be on any other Sky Sports channel other than the Italian one. These laps that we've seen already are potentially just some installation laps but there's fans on the bridge they're getting pictures they're getting videos of course they're seeing Lewis going around they've been waiting for quite some time so as the day goes on we're probably going to get some better pictures some better videos of course Ferrari are going to be It's very foggy there but the weather seems to be holding out so look out for more videos and more footage as we go along in the day. They're obviously planning a full day of of filming and testing based on what's permitted in the rules. Now you might be saying why is he not driving last year's car? Well he can't because of the rules. He can only drive a car that's two years old which is why he's driving the SF23. You will have also seen that he's shared a picture of him in his race suit. Now even seeing Lewis in the Ferrari seeing him in the race suit it's still kind of hard to get my head around it. It's still going to take a little bit of time to get used to seeing him in red. I mean he looks good in red but it just it's it's odd isn't it seeing Lewis in red after him racing for Mercedes all these years. He shared a picture of his new race helmet as well which is predominantly yellow which he has used in the past. Last year I think was predominantly purple though it had yellow in it but it was predominantly purple if memory serves me right. Carlos had a little bit of yellow in his but it was mostly red based on the Spanish colors. I think Charles Leclerc runs a red helmet so Lewis is definitely going to stand out in that Ferrari. If you haven't already checked it out as well Ferrari on their social media have shared loads of images and behind the scenes and Skysports F1 have also shared a behind the scenes of Lewis's visit to the Maranello factory and I tell you what they've been on point with the pictures. There was a picture during the rounds I'm sure everyone's seen of Lewis stood in front of Enzo Ferrari's house in his dapper suit with the Ferrari F40. Now what I didn't know at the time is that apparently in the picture are seven windows to represent his seven titles with a door opening the way to an eighth. Now take from that what you will but it's an exciting moment. Ferrari have certainly done their homework and built up the anticipation and as the day goes on I'm sure we're going to get a lot more video footage, a lot more posts about Lewis in that Ferrari.
