hi guys welcome back to my channel if
you are new welcome my name is Hannah
and on this channel we talk all things
home decor home Aesthetics mixing high
and low with no old and in today's video
we are doing some sideboard styling so
if this is something you are interested
in watching just keep on watching all
right so every now and then on my
channel I love to bring different
styling for you guys this is going to be
a video solely on the sideboard giving
you five different looks for these
upcoming months now this doesn't scream
winter I really did my best to do
different styles within this video my
styling has evolved over the last couple
years so I love to do these every now
and then giving you guys new ideas on
ways to style your own spaces now if you
are still in Winter mode totally
understandable I am still in Winter mode
as well but a lot of the stems I use
today are just kind of all over the
place again really wanted to make sure
to give you different ideas when it came
to styling this particular type of
furniture piece but honestly just adding
in a winter stem whether that's a
thistle whether that's more of a
branch-like or even your cedar or pine
is going to make your style look really
very much like the season so that's all
really you need to do when it comes to
styling these different areas hopefully
you guys enjoyed today's video I will do
my best to link everything by style Down
Below in the description box those are
affiliate links I do appreciate any of
you who choose to shop through those
links and support me I'm very grateful
for that but you guys without further
Ado let's get into today's video
[Music]
starting with style number one I'm going
to do a quick clean here but there is a
product that I want to discuss here on
my channel this is called the Sleek
socket and I use these religiously in my
home essentially what it is it allows
you to be able to plug a lamp against a
console table a dresser a sideboard and
be able to have it flush against the
wall there is nothing more irritating
than having a lamp and then having this
huge gap in between the actual Furniture
piece and the wall this eliminates that
we're going to plug in this lamp this
lamp is from Wayfair I think it's a
really beautiful just classic style with
a very nice terra cotta base and then on
the left hand side I'm bringing in one
of my vintage vessels and then my
beloved thistle stems I found these at
HomeGoods a few years ago and I just
love these for the winter time they kind
of read fall as well just very simple
and I love how much texture they add to
any style I'm going to be then adding a
few of my coffee table books and then to
the right of that I'm bring bringing in
two of these fluted hurricane candle
holders that I picked up from miky and
Co during the holiday season these are
really pretty because they bring such an
Elegance to a style especially when I'm
bringing in so many rustic elements
there's this really fun jux deposition
that happens when I add those to the
center of this style I'm bringing in the
mik co book stand this is a great way to
have a coffee table book on showcase and
then within that I'm bringing in a
vintage spoon as almost as if it is a
bookmark and then to the far right I'm
adding two more coffee table books and
then I'm adding this really beautiful
Kolkata footed marble Bowl I picked this
up for myself for Christmas time and I
just think it is such a beautiful way to
Showcase Decor or even bow filler those
preserved oranges I had during the
Christmas time and figured it would be
just a simple way to add a little bit of
color to this style and also get my use
out of some of the items that I used
during the holiday season so this is
look number one

for sty number two I'm going to be
starting on the left hand side bringing
in two different vases very similar in
style and shape but in two different
colors and then I'm adding in these
stunning Olive stems that I got from our
house these were gifted to me last year
for one of my collaborations that I did
these are such a pretty stem I really
was kind of hesitant on getting these
from them but I honestly am very pleased
with the color the texture and just the
realism of them to the right of those
bases I'm going to be bringing in two
more coffee table books and then on top
of that I recently picked up this
incredible Stone dish from Etsy this is
just such a cool piece it's rustic it's
raw and I just love it for this style
for the far right hand side I'm using my
picture stand for a way to display one
of my vintage washboards I kind of came
up with this idea when I was doing my
restyle after the holiday season and
instead of bringing a picture I decided
let's showcase one of my fun vintage
washboards and then the last few
elements are going to be a little candle
Riser a candle and obviously a mash Clos
to top off style number two
[Music]
style number three is going to be a
little bit different we are going to be
bringing Decor all the way across this
sideboard and we are not going to be
using a vase with stems so starting on
the right next to the lamp I have two
different coffee table books and then on
top of that I'm adding this cool vintage
cigar mold that I recently got while
vacationing in Franklin Tennessee at an
antique store to the left of that this
is a new purchase for myself this is a
cool bowl that I got from Amber
Interiors I love the detailing along the
rim of that bowl and just adding that
right there to the center now to the
left hand side two more coffee table
books and then on top of that I'm adding
two marble trays of the same style but
in two different sizes for a really cool
layered look I really enjoy doing this
with bowls it just adds layer it adds
visual interest and a little bit of just
Dimension and then to bring my personal
touch to this style I'm going to be
adding in this little miniature
horseshoe that I got from Lux be Co just
right there in the tray and then the
final Decor element for this third style
is an extra large geode Crystal now even
though we don't have any stems and we
don't have too much height variation I
brought in a lot of different material a
lot of different texture so that way it
is visually interesting I know some
people maybe don't want to put a vase or
have stems present maybe this is a look
or a style for someone that has a media
console and you need something that is
low profile think of different height
variations and the different elements
that you add to your coffee table books
change the orientation of your coffee
table books maybe having some vertical
some horizontal and it will still add
for really cool look so this is style
number number
[Music]
three style number four I'm starting
with two different vases on the left-and
sides they are similar in style but very
different in shape one of them is from
Wayfair and one of them is from Kathy
quo Unfortunately they are discontinued
I've searched high and low for these
vases but unfortunately I just can't
find them anywhere within that tall vase
I'm bringing in some Willow eucalyptus
stems there are three of those stems
present those are from Hobby Lobby and
shifting over to the right hand side I
have two more of those coffee table
books and then these vintage rustic
candle holders in three different shapes
I purchased at a local shop here in San
Diego this is definitely more of a
rustic feel it's very simple but still
has a huge impact for any sideboard
Style
[Music]
our fifth and final style is going to
start with this handled vase that I got
from Wayfair and then within that I'm
adding these really cool stems that I
purchased from Hobby Lobby last year
these were on crazy clearance and I
ended up buying a handful of them you
guys will see I have them stuffed within
a vase with single stems like this they
need a little bit more structure so I
just have a vase within that larger
vessel to the right of that I'm adding
in my beloved wicker boxes I use these
all the time they bring warmth they add
texture you guys know I love these so
much those are there just to the right
of that and then in the center of the
sideboard style I'm bringing in my
marble ruffle Bowl this was a purchase
that I did last year it's one of my
favorite pieces that I own and then I
have a candle within that and then to
finalize this style I'm bringing in
three different coffee table books two
to ground the space one against the lamp
and then adding in this horse statue
just right there on top of my books just
again add that little bit of texture
that little bit of me Factor things that
I'm into that something that shows that
I enjoy horses and these are just Decor
elements that speak to me within this
last sideboard style so you guys will
have to let me know which one your
favorite but this is style number
[Music]
