I need to win six matches in a row to just tie it up.
Tig won three in a row, then I just won two in a row, so hopefully I can win three in a row.
I'm now back to five down in the matches. I gotta get it dialed in, guys.
Season one of Sunday matches. When it comes to a close, it's gonna be emotional.
You guys know how much we love all y'all and for the incredible ongoing support,
and those are gonna be memories that we're gonna be able to go back and
recap forever, and it's pretty neat.
It couldn't have been a better day to finish the Sunday matches.
It's bigger than just what YouTube has seen.
This is our home territory right here. This is where we grew up playing together.
It's a very special place to both of us.
I feel like I have a little bit of jitters, which is kind of cool.
It means it means something.
There's a lot more to this match than just us.
Callaway, they're watching this.
TaylorMade.
It's a big deal. This is actually a big, big match.
All the stops are coming out.
I know you know how to get to me, but I know how to get to you.
I hate that.
You guys have been waiting for this. It's been a long time.
There's been lots of comments.
There's been lots of speculation as to whether we actually were family anymore.
Trying to kind of make that decision right now.
This is crazy.
This is insane. I didn't think I'd be feeling all this.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I am a little nervous, actually.
Not ideal right now.
Ooh, I want so many birdies from this match out of both of us today,
but just one more out of me.
I hate making bar on this hole.
I think this is gonna be a really, really good match between me and Garrett.
We saw, like, the worst parts of each other.
Yeah, the worst and the best.
Lots of bad, lots of good.
It's a tough situation here, boys.
I don't even know, dude.
Like, minimize the damage.
This is why I don't have friends, Garrett.
This moment right now is a moment I'm gonna cherish for a while.
Feels like nothing I've experienced in a very long time.
It's a big day, guys.
You guys probably know what's going on, but Ryder just landed here.
We have Ryder back on the camera and also doing a match with Micah.
Traveling up to Kansas City.
We're gonna film this thing tomorrow.
This is gonna be wild.
I'm excited for it.
Cue the travel montage footage now.
We made it.
It was good to be home.
What is that camera?
I just figured we'd upgrade.
It's a new vlog camera.
I love it.
Is it good quality?
Yeah, no.
8K.
Oh, really?
Super slow-mo.
Yeah.
Do you want me to actually, like, are we vlogging with that camera?
Yeah, you can vlog with this camera.
What are we doing today?
It's the next day.
We're here in Kansas City.
I got my morning routine drive already done.
Drove around the lake.
Just mentally kind of preparing for today.
This is a big moment.
Micah and I were talking last night.
We were hanging out last night.
I think it's literally been four years since Micah and I have filmed a match.
That's insane to think about.
I think it's been since like...
Guys, welcome back to another Sunday match.
Micah and I are ready to get dialed in.
Home turf for both of us.
It's awesome to be back out here.
We've got beautiful weather here in Kansas City.
We've played quite a few Sunday matches out here, but it's been a while.
It's probably been a couple months.
But it's good to be back.
Garrett's been doing a lot of winning, so maybe I can take that today.
I actually, I think this means a lot more to me this match than the Grant one
just because Micah and I, we're cousins, obviously.
I don't know how many know that.
We're cousins and we've filmed so much longer.
Speaking of, sorry.
I'm doing my morning routine right now.
Ryder and Michael jumped in midway.
I drove around the lake already, Wyandotte County Lake, and now I'm at our property
which is where eventually I'm going to build a par-3 course and a house.
Let it be known on this clip.
Put it on record.
All private.
No one's going to be allowed to play it.
And I'm going to show you guys the whole process.
Let me know if you guys are excited for that or if you want to see it.
But I'm going to vlog every step of that way.
That was electric.
Oh yeah, we're good.
This is so fun.
Oh, that sound.
I like that sound.
Like right down through here.
Oh, this is going to take a lot of clearing.
Let me grab a wedge.
Guys, we're at brunch.
Pre-match with Micah.
And I don't know if Micah coincidentally uploaded this video at this specific time,
but we were on the way and we saw a clip.
Ryder actually saw the clip and he showed it to me, which we thought was very funny.
Micah uploaded a video with Luke Kwon.
And the first thing they say in the intro...
They didn't like you either?
And Ryder, it's funny, like we're literally filming the match right now
and Micah just uploaded that video.
And I just thought, I thought it was funny.
I think that there's going to be a little bit more on the line with this match today.
I think I have a feeling that the topic of conversation might get a little more controversial.
I have a feeling we'll be talking a good amount about good, good and stuff like that.
Because this is...
Micah and I have caught up probably on three separate occasions.
But I have a feeling Micah is coming into this with like the mentality of
he really, really wants to win.
Obviously, I'm the same way.
We're both competitive individuals.
Get your popcorn, sit back, relax and enjoy the...
I don't know if it's going to be drama, but just enjoy what's about to unfold.
This is going to be...
It's going to be fun.
We got to put something on the line.
That's all I'm saying.
There has to be something that the loser has to do.
Is Micah calling me?
He's calling me.
All right, guys, before we go on with the rest of today's video.
First off, hopefully you guys are enjoying this reunion match with Micah.

Let's get back to the video.
All right.
Well, guys, this is a much awaited video right here.
We had to do it here.
We had to do it at Sunflower.
Micah flew in.
I flew in.
This is our, our home territory right here.
This is where we grew up playing together.
So I guess you didn't necessarily grow up here, but college and all that.
I mean, I feel like in a sense of my, in my golf journey, I grew up here
because I started playing golf and then I came here right after.
So it's like, this is a very special place to both of us.
Sunflower Hills.
I mean, you guys know it.
We had, I would say overall half the Sunday matches were at this place.
Yeah.
This is a special place, special people,
and a lot of the same people still work here, which is awesome.
So it's good to be back.
Now that I'm thinking, I am a little nervous, actually.
A little bit.
I think that's probably natural.
I am.
I feel like I have a little bit of jitters, which is kind of cool.
Yeah.
It means it, it means it means something.
So it means it matters.
All right.
The format is simple.
18 holes stroke play.
Micah will be uploading the back nine tomorrow at 1 PM central time.
So tune into his channel.
Check it out because that's gonna be the back nine.
That's where it's gonna all come down to.
One match.
Nine and nine, 18 holes stroke play.
You guys have been waiting for this.
It's been, it's been a long time.
There's been lots of comments.
There's been lots of speculation as to whether we actually were family anymore.
But we're, we're still here.
We made it through.
I think we tolerate each other.
By the grace of God.
Here we go.
That's me.
Ah, seems right.
Good luck.
On his channel.
This is crazy.
I'm kind of nervous to hit this shot.
It's a big deal.
This is actually a big, big match.
I like that I'm nervous.
I really do.
I don't need to explain the hole.
You guys have seen it.
My hands are literally sweaty.
Should carry far enough to where it's funny.
Yeah.
I don't know how far you hit that driver, but I think that's pretty good.
Left, right rough.
Still getting the left and rights mixed up.
That's one thing I have not corrected.
I don't, I thought that maybe age would help that and it's not.
All right.
I got the mini driver.
This is my new off the tee club right now.
It's been working pretty well.
So we'll see what happens.
It's fine.
Get left, just left of that tree.
I like that actually.
Am I like crazy to say that this is weirdly one of the hardest tee shots at Sunflower?
Like mentally?
Well, when I stand up to this tee, basically when I'd step up, I would just accept being
in those trees on the right.
Yeah.
Like it was down there.
Yeah.
I would just aim over there because there's no way I was ever going to hit it left of
those trees.
It just didn't happen.
So I think I'm a little better at golf now.
Maybe subconsciously overcorrected.
It's working.
Okay.
So I got to get it.
I got to get this out of the way.
Don't look.
Okay.
Rider pulled up something today.
I just need like some clarification on.
Okay.
This on film.
I know what it is.
They didn't like you either.
So what was that about?
It was period.
You got to admit that's kind of funny.
No, it was funny.
It was literally.
I almost, I almost left a comment.
We debated whether or not to leave that in there.
We went back and forth.
I talked to everyone and.
I thought it was funny.
I didn't think it was that deep, but if I would have thought it was deep, then I would,
I was actually going to ask you, but I was gonna be like, Hey, is this okay?
I know.
I genuinely, I was like, he showed me at breakfast and I almost left a comment.
I almost left a comment.
Today's match should be fun.
Yeah.
No, I like that.
It really was funny.
And I just feel like it just, it was just kind of a funny way to start that video.
Cause I I've only ever filmed with Luke once and obviously there's history with both of
us and it just seemed, it just seemed funny.
It was very perfect timing.
Like I said, I think you might've known I was going to see that like right before the match.
No, actually, actually I didn't.
I'm glad we got that out of the way.
I didn't want you keeping that on your chest.
Yeah.
Like we like each other, right?
Yeah.
Okay, cool.
I just wanted to make sure, you know.
I was watching, I was like, I like Micah.
Like, come on, man.
I'm catching a stray out here.
Hey, I've caught some of those.
Yeah.
I've caught a few of those in the last couple of years.
We all have, but.
All right.
99 yards.
Did you, did you get eyes on yours?
Yeah, I'm just right over there.
Didn't even get to Micah's mini driver.
Do you really hit the ball that far?
I do.
Yeah.
Well, the problem is with driver, I was hitting it too far.
Like I had, I was having problems because I was hitting it too far.
Really?
And.
Struggling back there?
Just, it just made golf difficult.
How can one say hitting the ball too far makes it harder?
Just because there's more room for error?
Yeah.
Because I always say if you hit it a long way, the wrong way, it's not a good place to be.
I think Bryson would agree.
99 yards.
Probably plays up a little bit.
It's just a nice little 58 degree here.
This is kind of, it's kind of weird that everything about this match is like.
Garrett's Callaway.
I'm Taylor made.
He's good.
I'm bad.
Kind of weird.
It's all like, yeah.
How did it, how did it happen like this?
It's crazy.
Complete opposite.
All rivals is like, there's a lot more to this match than just us.
I like this.
Soft.
Yeah.
I think that's pretty good.
Micah played out here yesterday and made 10 birdies.
I know what I have to do today.
There you go.
The reverse psychology is happening on the first hole.
Okay.
Wait, no, no, no.
This is Garrett 101.
The masterclass of Garrett Clark.
No, no, no, no, no.
There I didn't.
I actually didn't mean that one.
No, I'm actually all for it.
As soon as that, as soon as that came out, I understood what you were going to think I was
doing there, but didn't you make a lot of birdies yesterday?
I did make a lot.
I made a ton of birdies yesterday.
It was awesome.
Got to get these nerves out of the way.
I'm nervous.
We're playing down all the way around.
We can do up in the fairway.
I think we can do up in the fairway.
Okay.
Yeah.
I'm down to do lift cleaning plates since it's been raining.
Yeah.
People know I say that it's been raining for like three years on the channel.
Somehow just magically rains before every single YouTube video we film.
88 yards.
I would suspect he's probably hitting just a little light pitching right here.
Sit.
No.
Sit.
If it has spin on it, you're good.
That was long.
So what's your game like now?
I don't watch your videos.
It's just inconsistent.
I'm kidding.
I do watch your videos.
I don't watch yours either.
It's a little inconsistent right now.
I feel that.
Two, three, four, five under, but I can also shoot an 87.
Why'd you pick that number?
Because I shot 87 at Whistling Strait.
Oh.
Oh, you also shot 87 in Canada, right?
No.
Well, I shot 86 at the Myrtle Beach queue.
Where did you shoot 87?
I shot 87 in Canada queue in my second round.
That's what it was.
No, I shot 87 at Whistling Strait.
I did not say that or mean it that way, but I don't know.
I think that's the beauty of what we do.
It's like if you post everything, you got nothing to hide.
You could go out there and get last or whatever in a tournament,
and people won't think less of you if you're posting all your stuff.
I think that is somewhat true.
I will say when it comes to, say, outside of your own fan base,
I think there's a lot of people online that love to get on there and be like,
see, this is what happens when you can't edit out shots, stuff like that.
But that's outside of your fan base that doesn't know how you actually are
and what you're actually posting, you know?
And the difference between a tournament and a YouTube video
is very significant when it comes to the psychological factor.
Oh my gosh.
Yeah, no, mentally.
At the Creator Classic, I said I want to play more tournaments now.
All right, down the hill, left to right.
Kind of quick.
All right, I got 15 feet.
It's breaking a little bit to the left.
I think that line is actually perfect.
Oh.
Dragon bar.
This means a lot more than Grant and I's match,
just because like Grant and I had probably filmed maybe even less than a year prior.
Yeah.
It's been like four years, you know?
Yeah.
Like there was a lot more that we did at the beginning.
Yeah, I agree.
Like our golf games.
We saw each other develop.
There's a lot of history here.
Yeah.
Good putt.
Sunday matches, season one, season two, I think that's what we did.
But like in the first season, I like absolutely destroyed Garrett.
And then the second season, like I think it was probably like
when we were about 20% into that second season, I just lost my mind.
And I think that I lost every single match for like 15 in a row or something crazy.
It was rough.
It was terrible.
Because I remember I was even, I think I might have been down.
And then all of a sudden, I think you just started playing bad.
I don't even think I started playing that good.
It was a little bit of both.
Maybe a little both.
Yeah.
We saw like the worst parts of each other.
Oh, yeah.
Like, I mean, and the best.
Like you witnessed one of the greatest shots in YouTube golf.
Matt's holding one.
You know, we had a lot of great memories in there as well.
Oh my gosh, yeah.
I think I'm less nervous now.
Maybe, I don't know.
It doesn't help the fact that last time I played this hole, I hit it OB.
So I'm going to aim down hole three.
Just try and hit it over there.
Right where I was aiming.
Perfect.
Yeah, it's not going to hurt you.
I didn't want to risk it today.
All right, similar line.
Hopefully I can get it just a little bit left of that.
Let him cook.
Get a little left.
Just a little left of that.
Good.
That actually should be real nice.
Was that real?
Did you and George have some trouble in paradise or?
Wait, when?
In Bermuda?
In Bermuda, yeah.
No, it definitely wasn't real.
But George is really funny.
For some reason, like there's only two people I feel I can kind of get to George.
It's Wesley and then me.
And I don't know why I get to him because nine out of ten times he'll beat me every single time.
But then there's just something about it.
You're just like that.
You want to.
You're like a little chihuahua.
You're just biting at his ankles.
I'm not a chihuahua.
That's a horrible example.
I'm not a chihuahua.
Like, I think that it just maybe my distance intimidates him.
What did you say?
You said something like it'll be OK, big guy or something.
All right.
Probably.
Yeah.
He probably like.
We didn't lose that match, which made me feel which made me feel really good.
Made you feel better?
Well, not better.
Just like the fact that I trash talking and we won.
And you backed it up.
Wasn't necessarily because of me at all, because it was a four person alternate shot,
which that's pretty chaotic.
I was seeing clips getting posted because I'm always on TikTok.
So I look at like all the YouTube golf stuff there.
I don't watch any YouTube golf.
But when I see it on my feet, I look.
Yeah, that's the best.
That's the best way to keep up with things like things are happening because people only
post the drama on TikTok.
They only post the important things, like the things that people want to see.
Is this you or me?
I feel like this is probably me because my smoke.
It's not me.
This is a tough situation here, boys.
Critical decision right here.
Thinking about hitting a big old cut around these trees.
The only issue is if it goes straight, it goes into the water.
It's a par five.
I'm going to hit a pitching wedge.
He's playing safe.
Wow.
Not like me, but.
This is a different Garrett.
I guess we're playing 18 hole straight play, so it's a marathon, not a sprint.
That's a good shot.
Thanks.
That was hammered.
All right.
Didn't want to get too aggressive because it doesn't cut out of the rough.
You have a goal number today or just to beat me?
A goal number?
Yeah.
What you would want to shoot?
I'm way too competitive with myself.
I try to lower my expectations.
OK.
Try to keep expectations low.
That way, it's like whatever happens, whether it's good or bad,
I have less tendency to emotionally react to it.
I like that.
200 yards.
I got a six iron hand.
I don't think it gets there because of the wind and this tree here.
Almost up, Tony.
I didn't see it.
You like it?
I don't know if it's up or not.
I hit it really nice.
You still get really mad about losing golf balls.
Oh, yeah.
For some reason, it's gotten worse, which is like the most unbelievable.
It is actually diabolical.
That's insane with your sponsorship with Tidbit.
Do they make you pay for balls or something?
No.
OK.
Yeah, I hate losing golf balls more than I hate losing strokes.
Really?
You have as much as you want.
I know.
It's one of the things about myself that I'm in therapy for it.
Really?
Losing golf balls?
Yeah.
Wow.
You're fine.
Is that you?
Just short?
See, I really do have problems because I thought I was long and left of the green.
So you still have the fear going along.
No, I actually cured that.
Really?
Yeah.
I actually do have that.
I can talk to you about how to cure it if you need help.
Really?
Yeah.
Oh, it just feels right, man.
This is like Mike and I used to do this literally daily for years of our life.
Multiple, multiple years.
Off camera, on camera, you name it.
Prior to YouTube, you know, college golf.
Mike has college golf.
He moved here when I was about probably what, 16, 15, 16?
And he was going to college.
KCKCC lived in my house, which is, he lived in, which is now my room, which was, was his
room at the Kansas City house.
And then, you know, that's where I guess our golf journey started together.
So that's, again, I mean, I said it already, but that's why this match matters a lot.
It's bigger than just what YouTube has seen.
Oh, I got a horrible bounce.
Missed it by a foot.
All right.
I'm actually in really good position.
I thought that I was long left of the green, like over by that storm drain.
Oh gosh, TIG.
That was so yippy.
Pillow fight so far.
Freaking pillow fight.
All right.
It's kind of weird.
I thought Mike was going to turn more.
I think I'm kind of from a different angle, so I don't think mine will be turning as much.
You make birdie, it feels like a par.
Par feels like bogey, so.
Good, good?
Good, good.
Say we do good, good.
All right, let's do it.
Good, good action.
Nice.
That truly feels like a bogey.
It does, doesn't it?
I hate making birdie or par on this hole.
All square, both even par, nothing crazy so far in our match, but I have a feeling
there's going to be a lot of birdies today.
Just let us get in rhythm.
We came out here, I did a break 65.
I didn't have my clubs.
I was using like a old Big Bertha and shot 65.
That's insane.
It was crazy.
So do you have a driver or you just have the mini driver now?
Oh, I do.
I just hit this because I tend to hit it and play more often than I do my driver.
That's cool.
Nice.
That was really good.
Thanks.
Your pre-shot routine has gotten a little different over the years.
Well, I've changed my swing a ton.
I don't know if you can tell.
Yeah.
How you get comfortable is just so much different.
You just had no pre-shot routine.
Yeah.
It would be something different every time.
100%.
All set.
Oh, get lucky.
That might be in that tree.
Oh, it's fine.
Yeah.
Stayed short of it.
I thought that was going to go in.
Always stay short of the car path.
It's good.
I feel like the fans need like a life update post leaving Good Good.
You know, how's things been kind of thing?
Oh, it's been great.
Right after, very shortly after I stepped away from Good Good, we moved to Florida.
We lived in Frisco, Texas, right near everybody now.
Right after that, me and my wife, Katie, we had wanted to move to Florida for a long time.
When we first got married, that was like what I wanted to do.
I broke my foot right away and we couldn't do that.
Since we got married, every move we made was specifically for a job.
We moved to Fort Wayne for a job from Dallas, and then we moved to Kansas City for GM,
and then to Dallas for Good Good.
There was just like all these things.
Once I left Good Good, we were like, well, we're just going to go to Florida because
that's just genuinely what we want to do.
Just do what you want, right?
It was really cool.
We got a house down there and we started also an Airbnb.
Katie runs an Airbnb.
That's just fun.
We're just doing a lot of really cool things and just loving life.
That's awesome.
This is a great number.
411?
Yeah.
One thing that I struggle with out here is judging how the ball is going to come out.
Because I know in Florida, it's just so different with the Bermuda.
Yeah, there's so much grain there, but I'm not really good enough to read a lie, I don't
think.
I can tell if it's a fly or lie, but I'm not really playing this as if it's going to come
out any different.
I just know how far this club goes and I'm going to try to hit it that far.
Yeah, you said it.
I can't tell where it's at, but-
That's good.
It's like six feet.
Gosh, my depth perception is so bad.
Gosh dang, Ryder, you're still just getting the angles.
88 yards.
Got to trust it.
Ooh, I just hit a bug.
That's a lot of spin there, young man.
What the-
From 80 yards.
I drove it in low too.
These greens are ripping.
Gosh, that's so much closer than I thought it was.
I thought it was 40 feet long.
Yeah.
Honestly, I'm not really thinking much other than let's just make par here.
Move on.
One down.
Potentially.
On to hole four.
There he goes.
Didn't really bump.
That's all right.
Hit a little too hard.
I need to make this for a little redemption on myself after that last hole.
All right.
Thanks.
Good birdie.
Like I said, Michael, expect your opponent to play perfect golf.
Always.
Good putt.
Get up and down.
Thanks.
All right, one down.
Good birdie.
Had to break the ice on the birdies.
I was saying earlier, when I first started playing golf, I was way bigger.
I was way stronger.
I hit it way farther.
I would beat you all the time.
Then I think one of the ways that you started to get better before you physically got better
was you learned how to trash talk and get in my head.
Yeah.
I mean, it's showing up since we first stepped onto the tee here.
Yeah.
Well, I will say a lot of it is subconscious.
Something about it, I think it just pulls it out of me as soon as we start filming.
I like it.
I think there's not a lot of people.
I'm kind of ashamed to admit this, but there's only a few people that get in my head that
has ever been able to get in my head.
It's not Wesley.
It's not George.
It's freaking Grant Horvat.
And then if there's another person who's ever been able to get in my head, it's you.
Wow.
I can't believe you're admitting that.
You're putting that on record.
I mean, I'm not afraid to say it.
That's insane.
I'm telling you, I can be playing the best golf of my life and I go play Grant and it's
like, I'll shoot 78.
Grant just gets in people's heads without even trying because he's so consistent.
He's not going to really go birdie a bunch.
Yeah.
There's something that happens and I'm not proud of it, but it happens.
Just psychologically, huh?
Yeah.
Front pin, hole in one pin.
Believe it or not.
160 down to 152.
I will say though, I used to a lot because I needed to, but I think I'm a little better
now to where I'm not going to try and get in your head today.
I mean, I certainly don't mind it.
I think it's great.
If I do, it'll probably be unintentionally, maybe partially intentionally.
We'll see where we are after about 15 holes.
If I'm losing after 15, I will do everything I can to make sure you don't finish well.
All the stops are coming out at some point today.
I know you know how to get to me, but I know how to get to you.
I'm excited for it.
But the thing is, I love it when people talk trash.
It makes me play better.
That's one thing that must've changed about you because there was a time when I couldn't
say two words and your cap would blow off.
This is true.
Like I said, I don't know.
I don't think I had as good of a golf game to rely on back then.
Not saying I'm a lot better, but I think I'm a little better.
Well, you've got some shoulders to rely on now too.
A little bit.
I used to be 125 pounds though.
What are you like 135 now?
Pretty much.
All right.
Nine iron hand.
This should actually be a pretty good number.
Okay.
It's crazy.
You're hitting nine.
I'm hitting P wedge.
Yeah.
Go a little bit.
Just a little bit.
Oh, yeah.
That's actually close to pin high.
Yeah, that's a good shot.
Do you tee it up on par threes?
No.
I'm like, well, here's a question here.
What?
Does a hole-in-one on a par three course count?
No.
What the frick are you talking about?
I don't think so.
I don't think any of my hole-in-ones count.
Somebody clip that and send it to Mason.
He is going to fall in love with you.
Go get past the pin, please.
Please.
Holy.
You hit pitching wedge there?
Yeah.
He's got mass moves mass, right?
Yeah.
I'm surprised we got those left of the pin.
That was kind of bold.
Yeah.
I don't know how I'm going to control this spin because that's not good.
When you say Grant gets in your head, who wins more out of you two then?
Again, I don't watch your videos, so I don't know.
I mean, lately, he's been winning more, which is, I think out of the last five we've played,
he's won probably three of them.
Again, I'm expecting Micah to do perfect golf today, so I think this is to stay one down.
I bounced into the hole.
That was a nice putt.
Thanks.
Did that bounce help you?
Weirdly, I thought it was going to bounce it too far, right?
But it helped.
Thanks, bounce.
Shout out that divot.
Oh, I want so many birdies from this match out of both of us today.
But just one more out of me.
I got a good feeling about this one.
Go.
That's good.
So what about your life?
Chilling, man.
Crazy, I didn't text you for three years, and then I text you a week ago.
You texted a couple times.
That was being sarcastic.
That was a joke.
Okay, sorry.
Let's rerun it.
So what about your life?
I feel like I didn't text Garrett for, it was about three years.
I think it was like 937 days.
To the dot?
Wow.
Yeah, 937 days.
And I texted him last week.
I was like, hey, you want to film?
And magically, we're just all better.
Just magic happened, man.
Yeah, nothing's really new.
Just the same old, same old, you know.
Got a girlfriend now.
Nice.
She's great.
That's good.
I'm glad she's a girl.
Keep doing the same old.
I want to build a house here.
Really love Kansas City a lot.
I don't know why I'm hitting hybrid here.
I always hit driver.
I think that's a pretty stupid thing to do, but.
All right, I'm going to hit hybrid.
I always hit driver here, but I'm going to try and draw a hybrid.
I want to play Flango.
Chip wedges have not been, what were you saying?
Nothing.
You can say it to me.
I don't care.
I'm not.
Okay.
Oh, big man.
See?
Just Garrett.
He's different now.
I told the camera you're going to hit it in that bunker.
Yeah, I mean, it's only 240 to carry, man.
A little low draw around the tree.
It used to take a full driver for you to even get just short of that bunker.
This is true.
When we started playing, I couldn't get it over the bunker with a driver.
And you were playing from the red tee.
Yeah, it's also true.
I'd still beat you.
Go.
Get over the trees.
Oh, I heard it clack.
You heard it clack?
Maybe I have a little tree trouble here.
I've hit balls from this very location many times.
We do have a front pin, which kind of makes this a little bit tricky.
I always think that I could probably hit this ball under that tree, like compress it really
well and still carry it to the green.
It's going to low draw.
Hit it like it's 80 yards.
I can hit this 85 and not have a problem.
Go.
Fine though.
Yeah.
That's not, I mean, a pin's a front pin.
That's not a problem.
76 yards.
Pin's kind of front left-ish.
60 degree.
Make sure it's 60.
It is.
I like this.
That might be really good.
Spin in the hole, please.
Ooh, got a little thumbs up there.
I like that.
I just want some birdies today out of both of us.
Really, I think just a low round of golf would be so nice.
If we're both in the 60s, neither can complain, you know?
Breaking a little left.
Garrett hit a fantastic shot.
This is pretty straightforward.
It's landing down grain.
That's good.
Okay.
You want it?
It's up to you.
Yeah.
Par.
After hitting kind of a below average tee shot, I'll take it.
This is moving a solid, probably two inches.
I think he's going to make this.
It's a pretty easy putt, but if you look this one out, you could have the same distance.
Good birdie.
Thanks.
Dang, two in a row for the young man.
Gotta get hot.
Is this uncharted territory for Garrett right now?
A little slanted tee box action.
Slanted fairway, slanted tee box.
You better hit this one at number one.
Yeah, I'm aiming right here.
Trying to play a high draw here, Michael.
Let's see a little glued action here.
Put a little something behind it.
Oh, I will, brother.
I think that's perfect.
It might be like end up left side.
Yeah.
I don't think you can avoid that though.
It's a death trap.
Death trap.
You have to go right here no matter what.
I want to see you get one past that.
A little long drive contest.
With your mini driver.
I don't, the thing is, I used to be obsessed with hitting it far.
And then I realized I don't have to hit it far to score well.
And that was kind of a, it was pretty revolutionary for me.
I didn't actually.
It's crazy that I never thought that hitting ball in play would lower my scores.
Takes a genius to figure that one out.
Yeah, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I can get a lot of, I can get a lot of work done.
That was a nice quote.
Hanging on the, hanging on the loo bear or whatever it's called.
Loo bear?
What is it called?
The loo.
Hanging on the loo.
The V is silent and the E.
The loo bear.
And the R.
Oh, see that's literally left rough.
That's great.
Left rough.
What?
That's so good.
It's good.
You hit it hard enough that it's past the slope.
You haven't, you haven't been here in too long.
Hanging in the loo, Michael.
So you think you'd ever come back on a good week ever?
The circumstances were perfect.
You know, like we're here now, but like, imagine.
You know, I'll, uh.
You know, we'll talk about it.
I like that you put the feeler out there.
We'll see what happens.
Where's your ball at?
I'm probably in the rough and you're probably not.
Uh, I think I probably hit it farther than you did.
I will say I'll entertain it.
Two years ago, I, well, I cut that out.
There's no need.
All people want is drama anyway.
Just give it to them.
I know.
It's like we actually were talking.
You know, I was talking about this with, uh, with Jacob and I was like,
we were talking about it and we were like, after this, we can't like,
we can't dramatize anything more because like this, this kind of kills it.
Well, maybe we don't like each other today.
It's all just a fake.
It's just a face.
So we got him to verbally sign a contract that he's going to come to another good group.
Good Lord.
I did what now?
I'm kidding.
Probably 10 feet left to where the cart, where the cart path disappears.
But it's probably one 90 for me, probably a little 200 action from you.
I'm going to try to start this at the drone and draw it in there.
It's one 84 to the front.
So if I give us a little extra gas, it should be perfect.
You're going to start it at the drone.
Okay, Ryder.
Hey, we got everything against Mike.
Now I'm starting right over the cart path.
This is this.
I feel like this is going to be a really good golf show.
It's one-on-one in the theories.
This might go in the hole.
Keep an eye on this one, Ryder.
This looks great.
That's a little right.
I think it's really good.
Where is it?
I think short, right?
Probably just short.
All right.
I got a nine iron because I'm going to hit better.
If this lands on this green, the reaction is going to be cool.
Nope.
Wow.
Good shot.
A little too much hook.
There's not enough hook.
You know, I used to be a lot more creative with my golf game and now I'm not.
But you are like, you're very creative.
Like I never would have thought to try to duck hook a nine iron.
It normally works.
That's like one of my most comfortable shots in my bag.
Yeah.
I mean, I know how to hit a hook, but I'm just, I'm not that creative on the golf course.
Some guys are very standard and some guys are like Bubba Watson, you know?
Some guys are creative and other guys just are pretty simple.
Shout out to all the simple guys out there.
I hope you're doing okay.
That was just a poor shot.
I was kind of scared of hitting it into that tree.
So aim too far out, right?
Get it up and down.
That's pretty good right there.
Not bad.
Thought it might have landed a little softer than that, but good luck to Birdie to make
three in a row.
Get it to three under.
Four Eagle.
Wouldn't it be something if this were to drop?
Run for him.
Go.
That was a nice line.
Great effort.
Everything was great except for the speed.
Down the hill for the Birdie for three in a row.
Killed it.
I'll give you that.
Such an easy putt.
Easy Birdie.
We missed an opportunity.
That's okay for Micah to tie it back.
Wish that I would have left myself with not quite this much work, but I think I can make
this.
I think it's a right edge.
Yeah.
Thought I missed that right for a second.
Well, two under through six.
Two under through six is pretty good for us.
This is what we like to see right here.
Good match.
If you guys came for good golf, you should subscribe and like the video.
Drop a comment.
Let us know who you think is going to pull away with this match.
I already know there was predictions.
I already know there's people.
There was so many people that were riled up about the Instagram posts we posted and everybody
was like, I'd say it's about 50-50 to be completely honest, but it's good stuff.
Why are you not hitting driver?
Why?
Because I just, I love this club for this hole.
Trying to hit just a little low draw two iron.
What club do you got Garrett?
I got four iron.
I'm right there with you.
They probably go about the same distance.
Probably.
Since you're so big and so strong now, try to start it kind of right at the tree,
at the cart path and just let it draw.
Oh, soft.
Oh, got a straight bounce.
That is rare.
That is rare to see.
I don't know if I've ever seen that.
See, that's what I was trying.
Wait, if that hits the cart path.
It's not going to hit the cart path.
Oh, it did.
Oh no.
That's actually fine.
It was right where I was aiming.
Yeah.
Oh, that bounced on the cart path like 40 times.
I do love seeing a golf ball that goes straight, but I hate hitting them straight.
Why?
Because if I don't, they don't.
So how often do you and Grant like film together and do stuff together?
Because I feel like at the beginning when you guys both left, it was a lot.
And then now you're guys, obviously different places.
You're living in different spots and stuff.
But I would say on average, it's probably once a month.
Yeah.
We probably went three months without filming because he just,
he just operates on such a different schedule than I do.
And also he's in a just a little bit different place in his life.
Obviously Grant's absolutely killing it.
And I love that for him.
I don't think that I have, I haven't been willing to travel and do as much as he's done,
which is, that's how we're just kind of different.
I don't get perfectly in the fairway.
What?
Okay.
Sorry.
Go ahead.
I was so lucky.
And so I think our schedules just don't line up enough for us to film as often as maybe
I would like, but probably once a month.
Dude, mine might've got to the right.
That's the right.
Got to the left.
Right.
I think he just pointed to mine.
Would you say a pretty stressful guy on the golf course?
Me?
Yeah.
Because I feel like you're always like worried about your balls and stuff.
And like, I feel like that's gotta be, that's crazy.
I'm probably like a very relaxed person until I get on the golf course.
And then I, I'm a little bit high strung and not because of golf,
but more because I like, you know what?
I don't know.
Yeah.
It's okay.
I'll be honest.
I have no clue how to hit the shot.
It is going to spin off the planet with how much I spin it.
Taking extra club, trying to play it down a little bit.
This is an uncomfortable shot for me.
I will say, but just try and play a little draw in there.
52 degree.
Don't spin too much.
Now spin.
Oh man.
It's kind of a weird thing because if that lands on the green, it's pretty bad.
So I don't mind that.
I thought mine was going to be at the bottom of the hill.
Oh, you gotta be kidding me.
Oh, I don't think I can move that.
This is going to be interesting.
I think that I'm not exactly sure what I should play for here.
I got to play for the miss.
Don't carry something to the front of the green.
Then I'm not going to, it won't roll back there because that's really thick rough.
I got seven iron, it's 80 yards.
I'm just going to try to run something through there.
I'll be so money.
Oh, mercy.
Come back, come back.
That was not supposed to like go that far.
Hindsight's always 20, 20.
Probably should have missed this shorter green if I was going to miss it.
Oh, a little spinach.
All right.
Try and make this, put some pressure on him.
Ah, that's a nice play.
All right.
That one feels good to get that up and down.
Oh, good par, good par, good par, good par.
Both all square, 200 par.
Solid, kind of like super chill 200 rounds today.
Nothing crazy, but lots of golf.
200 after eight, it's pretty fun.
I think there's a lot more birdies to be made out here.
And I think this is going to be a really, really good match between me and Garrett.
I think about some crazy things.
Like when I'm on the way here, can you know how you like go through an airport and you see,
you know, hundreds of people and you'll never see them again?
Yeah.
I think it's probably because they're from a different timeline.
Really?
Yeah.
Okay.
It's like they don't exist in our reality.
Okay.
And I just, that's just a real thought for me to think that,
like you'll never see those people again.
What do they have over there?
The reason is because they're just from a different timeline.
Just from a different timeline.
It makes a lot of sense to me.
Okay.
I just didn't know if I was the only person.
Well, I've never really thought about it that way.
Inception is a great movie, which is like dreams and stuff like that.
There's another movie called Looper, which is like different timelines.
It would be cool to think that something like that would be possible.
Yeah.
Why?
I think that like reality is not even real.
Real?
It's not real.
Like it's not a real thing because if reality was a real thing,
that would be the same for everyone.
So real-ality.
So they need to change the name entirely.
It's more like a personal reality.
Okay.
Yeah.
It's not making a lot of sense to me, but I hear you.
This is why I don't have friends, Garrett.
No.
I'll tell you one thing that I do think is seeing a person
and knowing that they have a completely separate set of
things in their life that they're dealing with
and knowing that you'll never see that person again is wild.
There was a guy in breakfast this morning.
Rider looked over at him.
He said he wanted to have his beard one day
and we'll probably never see that guy again.
He dined a dash.
He left a dollar on the table and left.
It's a good call.
There's that too.
I guess we just missed that.
186.
I think it's a middle pin.
I'm going to play this just a little bit less.
I'm going to play this 190.
Oh, he's so good.
Nice.
A little long.
Not by much.
Seven iron?
Yeah.
All right, boys.
Got an eight iron here.
See if I can put it a little inside of my...
See he's in there tight.
What?
Step back.
Was I aiming there?
Look at the...
See if it's where he's aimed.
That was a good swing.
Why don't you ever stand back and look at your lines and divots
when you hit a good shot?
I don't know.
Oh, that hurts a little bit.
I'll leave this hole.
What'd you end up hitting there?
Eight iron.
This hole has it out for me though.
It does.
Every single time I play this hole, something about it.
It's an easy par three.
I mean, it's a little optical illusion because it plays uphill
and you got to kind of get in the right numbers sometimes.
It's just not very...
It's not a very hard hole at all to the eye.
See, I am long.
All right, right of the green.
Bad shot.
I mean, like I said, it felt like a good swing,
so I don't want to get tripped up about it.
Just aim a little left on the next one.
It's not too bad.
It's a weird lie, but I think it should bounce up nicely.
Oh, that was weird.
That was a really tough chip.
Walking up though, Garrett was like, that's a really hard putt.
That's a really hard chip.
Got to respect this putt.
39 feet downhill, breaking left.
All right.
That's all right.
Okay.
Speed control is everything here.
Come on.
Yeah.
Thanks.
Good par.
That one feels good.
All right, boys.
Unfortunate.
Now we're scrambling for bogey.
Never what you want to see on any hole,
but especially a fairly easy par three.
Not ideal, but it's okay.
Great putt there.
That's a nice save.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Minimize the damage.
It's a weird one.
You can go for it if you want.
It's not typically the smartest play,
but I'm one down.
So I'm trying to kind of make that decision right now.
We'll see.
All right.
Two iron for me.
Garrett looks like he's got four iron again.
Trying to hit a little low draw again.
She kind of started up the right side
and draw it into the center of the fairway.
It should work out pretty nicely.
Oh, that's going to be in the bunker.
Might be okay.
Did it carry it?
I don't know.
Might be.
If it carried it, it's going to be really good.
Yeah, it was 235 to carry the bunker.
Good shot.
Swing feels good.
Just got to start scoring.
Lots of good up and down there.
I probably just got to feel good to make a six-footer for bogey.
Yeah.
Just the fact that I had a six-footer for bogey,
that was freaking a little frustrating,
but that's the weird thing about sunflower
is you have to let golf come to you.
And the thing about sunflower is oftentimes,
it's easy to get on a hole and just try and make things happen.
Try, try, try, try, try.
But you just got to be patient.
There's an age-old analogy.
It's talked about, you know what's good and what's bad, right?
It's this farmer and his son.
His son went out and found this horse
and brought his horse back to his round pen.
His friends were like, dang, your son got a horse.
That's really good.
That's really cool.
Yeah.
And then dad's like, who knows what's good and what's bad, right?
And then next day, he gets on the horse and bucks him off.
He breaks his leg.
Neighbors come by, dang, what the heck?
Like, so unfortunate your son broke his leg on the horse.
It's like, who knows what's good and what's bad?
Next day, military comes in and is recruiting all of age males.
And because he broke his leg, he couldn't go.
And his neighbor's like, dang, so good.
Your neighbor, he didn't have to go to war.
Dad's like, who knows what's good and what's bad?
So how does that relate to golf?
Sometime when you hit it over there, you chip it in.
You make birdie outs.
Other times you hit it two feet from the pin, you miss it.
A three-pup.
I like that.
I'll be reminding myself that next time I make a quad.
Or nine.
Who knows what's good and what's bad?
This, you know, it's bad.
With that being said, we have 100 yards.
All right, this is gonna rip.
I don't even know, dude.
Like, I'm just gonna-
You got 45 feet behind the pin.
I am going to hit it 20 yards long in the green.
No.
Oof, Garrett.
Oh, no.
Proximity to the hole is not ideal right now.
That's okay.
Spun back.
I'm so glad this ball made it to here.
Probably should still get a little bite on it, to be honest, with this lie.
Soft.
Yeah.
Wow, it's long.
It's not bad.
Hoping I'd have a little closer than that.
Aren't we all though?
Your wedges look better than I've seen.
Historically speaking, yeah, for sure.
Just like-
Anything under 100 yards, I really struggle with because I don't have a lot of feel,
but I know how far-
Okay, that's just not true.
But I know how far my clubs go.
99, 112, 125, 141, 151, 171, 184, 199, 212, and 224.
Why the 20-yard gap?
151 to-
I gotta do some bending to my club.
That's how far these clubs go.
I will say I'm gonna make this putt.
I was thinking I was gonna make mine too.
Cool.
I just told Micah I'm gonna make this putt,
and then we'll be all square going into the back nine, which is great,
because you guys are gonna have to stay tuned on his channel to see who wins.
This is gonna go in.
That's all I'm saying.
I thought I had a little better feel for like a 78-yard shot,
but this is not horrible.
It's makeable breaking left again.
Garrett said he was gonna make this, so we'll see how well he knows his game.
But I know when you simply believe you're gonna do something,
definitely ups your chances of actually doing it.
I've been saying in my head a lot that I'm gonna make this putt.
I wasn't sure if you were walking in because you thought you made it or...
I thought I left it short.
All right, that's a good par by Garrett there.
27 feet.
Yeah, this is a great line.
Come on.
Give it to him.
Oh, he said he was gonna make it.
That's so crazy.
Good putt.
Let's keep this momentum going.
Dead gummit.
He did tell me.
He said it's crazy because I'm thinking I'm gonna make mine.
I got some work to do.
The man is three under through nine, onto the back nine.
Like I said, it's gonna be on Micah's channel tomorrow, 1 p.m. central time.
Everybody wants to hear it.
I love you, big dog.
I love you too, dog.
We'll see you guys tomorrow.
I don't know how you outro your videos now because I don't watch your videos, but take it away.
All right, that's the outro.
