When Football Legends Talk About Neymar Jr. (ft. Roberto Carlos, Ibrahimović, Di Maria, Guardiola)

Neymar. Best skill? Neymar. That was quick. Yes, when it comes to skills, there's not many better than Neymar. He's a fantastic footballer, an outstanding player. The best player I've ever played against, I think, is Neymar. For me, he's the complete player. Who is the most talented rival player you've played against? Honestly, I'd have to say Neymar. I was a bit starstruck at times. Just some of the little flicks he was doing and things. Sometimes it's very hard to even get near him. It's unbelievable what he does every game. And he decides a game on his own sometimes. Yeah, one of the best players in the world. Neymar. I know he was good, but I played against him. But in training, it's another level. It's crazy. You couldn't get close to him. You'd get the ball from the goalkeeper and you would dribble everyone. And you cannot even grab him. It's crazy. And people are trying to kick him and it's impossible. The toughest opponent you've ever come up against? I would say Neymar in the final. The last 25 minutes, it made me feel that smashing at him. Pushing and kicking at him. My centre-back trying to wrap him like that. He just kept running towards my goal. We could not stop Neymar. He was unstoppable. I played against Neymar and I think he's a fantastic player. Everybody enjoys watching him on TV or live when they're playing. Very creative and they have this magic. Anything can happen in any moment. The way he plays, he likes to challenge everybody. And he doesn't like to challenge one. He likes to challenge all 11, if it's possible. Ney is the Brazilian style. The style of having fun on the pitch. With a lot of quality, a lot of technique. An incredible one-on-one. And then he has all that of the Brazilians. Of cheating, of wanting to laugh on the pitch. And he has something very good, which is also the goal. Which he always turns and I think he's also an extraordinary player. I remember when I showed Santos in that moment. When I showed some clips, 10 or 15 clips on action from Neymar. I remember I told him, this is the king of Santos. And all the players were like... You know, their mouth opened and said, oh my God, what a player. It's a joy to watch. As a spectator, I enjoy it a lot every time. It's nice to watch. This plasticity, but not just the effectiveness, the personality. Is there more talent than Neymar? I don't know if this exists. More natural, easy-looking talent than Ney? I don't think it's possible. He combines pretty much everything. Speed, dribblings, passing, assisting, finishing, physical ability. I think this is the absolutely whole package. I think he's more than a class player. I always look at players that can do stuff that ordinary mortals can't. They're creative, they're imaginative. Skills, tricks, because football is entertainment. And Neymar's an entertainer. Iniesta or Neymar? I'm going to say Neymar. Neymar or Kevin De Bruyne? I'm going to say Neymar. Neymar or David Silva? Neymar. Neymar or Mesut Ozil? Neymar. Neymar or Bernardo Silva? Neymar. Neymar or Zinedine Zidane? Neymar. Neymar's the winner! I don't know what the f*** is wrong with y'all, respectfully, but Neymar is him. Neymar has always been him. And the fact that y'all are disrespecting and throwing Neymar's name in the mud, like he's some trash player, y'all lost y'all mind. Y'all better put some respect on Neymar's name. You best put some respect on Neymar's name. And you better remember, if it wasn't for Ronaldo and Messi, Neymar would have been the best player of our generation.
