Touchdown! For who? For who? Today is one of those really special days when Alessio gets to experience
something truly iconically American and that is the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl that we call
the World Championships and we're the only ones involved. Yeah. So, Amore, tell a little bit about
what you know about the Super Bowl or football in general. Football, first of all the world,
football. Football is soccer but it's okay, okay, okay, football, okay, let's get to American. So,
American football, let's put American football. I've been one time to, in Louisiana, watch LSU
Tigers and then a half time I left. No! It was so boring. Okay, I hear this a lot about, like,
football from people who aren't from the United States is they complain because of how long the
game is but what you don't understand it is a strategic thing because you can watch the game,
you have time to go to the bathroom, and you have time to eat a lot of food which is what we're
gonna do today. We have combined all of the classic iconic Super Bowl foods in one video so
Alessio can try them, tell us if they are good or bad. After 11 years I like football but at home.
Are you ready? I'm ready. Is this you throwing the ball? Yeah. Okay.
You know where they throw the ball? They already take me down.
So we're gonna start off with some appetizers and I don't know which one we should start with
in a minute. I want to stay with this and this. Okay, so let's move the chips out of the way.
So what we have here, for those that don't know, is pigs in a blanket which is usually hot dogs
or sausages wrapped in some kind of puff pastry or crescent roll or biscuit dough,
something to that nature. Pigs in a blanket? Because, you know, the pig is in a blanket.
Okay. It's really good, okay? Okay, no, no, it's just the name. Oh yeah, it, well, get past the
name. Then we have jalapeno poppers which you can't really see yet but you will when you bite
into it. It's a jalapeno filled with cream cheese. I want to try the pig in the blanket.
I don't know how you say that. I'm gonna do one with you, okay? There you go. Ready? They're
very cute. Yeah. It is a good snack. It is approved for actually sports. Yeah, it's perfect because
it's like a bite-sized little something. You come by the table, you grab a pig in a blanket. Oh no!
Referee! Yeah. Exactly. That's good, right? Yeah. The flavor is good. It's light, easy,
much easier to manage than like an actual hot dog. Pig in a blanket. You got it. Next, jalapeno
poppers. Jalapeno poppers. So, I'm afraid it's spicy. It could be. I'm not sure.
Wow. This is great. Look at this. Pepper, cream and cheese. Look at that. Wow. All fried up in
a little pocket. Delicious. Really? I love it. Is it mayonnaise? No, it's supposed to be cream
cheese but it does have a little mayonnaise flavor inside. So, I'm wondering if this specific brand
did a little something different. This is what you need to do for appetizers. So, you actually
like this. This is not just Alessio 11 years in the United States. No, no, no, no. This is a great
snack for football. This is approved. Next is queso. You cannot beat chips and queso in my
opinion. I could eat just chips and queso in a day and I'd be fine. I wouldn't eat any other food.
Look at this sauce, Amore. So, this is all cheese and it looks like, oh my goodness,
the chips are so fragile it won't even pick up the cheese sauce. Oh, so it's some mistakes here.
No, no, we like fragile chips. Oh. This is a good thing. Oh, wow. I don't know nothing.
I'm waiting for you. I'm waiting for you. You're waiting? Yeah. Ready? Yeah.
Delicious. I need to say this is the best thing we never had. I know. Who knew Super Bowl food
would be your favorite? This is, um. Mmm. Cosa? Olive? No, what is that black? Beans. They even
put beans inside. This is a really good queso, by the way. Shout out to Buffalo Wild Wings. Like,
we just ordered it because we got some wings for later. Their queso is really good. Approved.
Approved. This is, this is just what I need. Exactly. I told you, you only need queso and
that's it. We also have another dip and this one is iconic. Okay, this one takes some explanation.
This is called seven layer dip. I made it myself. Yes, thank you. So, the idea is there's seven
layers of things and each time you dip your chip inside, you need to go into all seven layers
so you get the full experience. You don't want to, like, graze the top. Just graze the top. So,
dig down in there, get the seven layers. You've got refried beans, sour cream, guacamole,
salsa, Mexican cheese, olives, and freshly cut tomatoes. Dig down in there. Oh my goodness.
It's hard with the chips. I get all the seven layers? I think you did. I think you got all of them.
I'm ready. Go for it. Go for it. I go for it? Yes. It's good, but it's a six. Okay. I like more the
cheese. So, Lestia is gonna go with the queso. I like both. I think this is a classic thing.
There's always somebody who makes this at the Super Bowl party. You're always gonna have this
kind of dip. Don't do it with me. If I'm invited to your party. I'm surprised you don't like it.
I give a six. I did a lot of research, and wings are by far the most popular Super Bowl food. It
was at the top of every single list, and it seems like the most, like, common thing to find at a
Super Bowl gathering. So, we have two different kinds. We have bone-in wings, which are the
traditional, and then we have bone-less wings, which I think are kind of like chicken nuggets
with sauce on top of them. For the Italians,
and then we've got buffalo sauce, which is a little spicy, and then we've got just mild barbecue sauce,
and then we also have two dipping sauces because the dipping is important. Okay. We've got blue
cheese and ranch, and you've got some vegetables for fun. For play. Which one are we gonna try
first? Bone-less. Bone-less? Okay. Yeah. I'm gonna take this. It's delicious. It's actually really
good. I guess it's delicious. Should I dip it in one of the sauces? Dip it. I think I should go
with the blue cheese. Even though I don't really like blue cheese, something's telling me that's
the one I should do. I think the sauce is for the vegetables, right? No, but you dip the wings
in the sauce. The cheese is good. It's not terrible. It's not terrible. The ranch. I feel like
the ranch is more for the buffalo because it's gonna balance the spicy. Should we go for the
buffalo? Yeah. Actually, yes. The dip is correct, I guess. I don't know why the combination is perfect.
If you were gonna pick between the ones with the bone or the bone-less, which are you gonna choose?
Both, but I like the bone. The wings are fabulous. Dipping the wing in the queso. Yeah. You are
officially American. This is concerning. Damn, this dip is good.
I wash my teeth with this. They didn't invent a toothpaste queso. Oh my god. For the football.
I can already see toothpaste wings queso flavor. Just have the nice taste before
a touchdown. Is this your future commercial? Yeah.
Watch out for the next commercial. It's gonna be me and Jesse with the toothpaste and chicken
and buffalo wings with queso. It's actually really good. I'm not gonna lie. You actually...
It adds something. It's dangerous because you can eat the bone with this. Oh, please don't.
And now, in honor of this year's Super Bowl, we have Kansas City Barbecue versus
Philly Cheese Steak. Also, very, very, very popular Super Bowl food item, so it just happens
to be appropriate that the teams are playing and we can pit the two against each other. I go with my
last favorite team. You're gonna put that out there. Yeah. You're gonna claim a team. I'm gonna
claim a team. Which one? Kansas. Wow, so we're gonna do barbecue first. Yeah. Kansas, I'm sorry,
but you're winning too much Super Bowls here. Mega. How you cannot cheer for Kansas?
How? I'm sorry, Kansas. I regret what I just said. I love you. I'm gonna cheer for you.
Eagles. I'm sorry, Eagles. There's some barbecue sauce too if you want to try it with the...
I don't know. I need a dip. This is great. You need a dip in the sauce. No, in the other sauce.
The other sauce. No, try it with the barbecue sauce. We're not dipping the barbecue into the queso.
I refuse to let you do that. If I was an Eagle, yes, I would dip it in that. Do so because you
want to ruin it, but then it's gonna be amazing. It adds something. I told you, you never trust me.
You never trust me. I'm gonna use my other little piece here. I don't know. I really don't know how
you can beat barbecue. If you're judging the Super Bowl based off the food. Let's judge this Kansas
bread. Kansas, you for now, you are scoring really bad. We gotta do the barbecue sandwich. I'm gonna
steal for the Kansas. Yeah, it's barbecue. No, let's do this, this, and then let's see. So Kansas is
gonna get a final touchdown at the last second. Oh my god, we tell you already the score. What is
gonna happen? You wanna go? You can make the decision. I'm gonna go with this and then...
Okay, Eagles, Eagles, Eagles, Eagles. Now, one point you need to win, right? This is the year.
My god. That's really good. I'm sorry, here they touched down really badly. That's insanely good.
This is when you throw your ball from the beginning and the guy ran and do the spinning
and then everybody was just stopping and the guy said, he's running, he's running, he's running,
nobody touched him. He fell down and then no score. Oh my gosh, are you saying this is not worthy?
No, it is, it is, it is. I think this is delicious and plus it's not even from Philadelphia. Imagine
how good it is actually in Philadelphia. My god, what do you drink for Super Bowl? Beer.
What? Stop. Why? Look at that. Technically you should turn it by the side and pour it in.
No. So all the foam isn't there. No, because then all the foam is gonna be in your stomach. You need
to leave it go down and then pour it back. You need to remove the foam, if not, like the prosecco,
if not, when it's gonna be in your stomach, it's gonna make the foam into your stomach
and then you're gonna feel poofy. And don't you see every time they pour beer in those funnels,
they have the cup tilted to the side so the beer's... Comment below who is right, me or Jessie
about the beer? About the foam part. The foam part. Definitely me. Good foam. And now it's tight.
Right. Is this sandwich make the Chips win again the Super Bowl and Taylor Swift gonna sing a song?
Well, she definitely won't sing at the Super Bowl. We gotta do a little sauce on the sandwich.
Who you cheating for? You see what I'm wearing? Right, Chips.
It's not a touchdown. It's not a touchdown. This year gonna win the Super Bowl.
This is a prediction based on the food. This is not enough to top the Philly cheesesteak. It's
not enough. I'm sorry Kansas City. It's really good. It's still really good. Okay, you're definitely
gonna score some points and get a lot of points on the board. You're gonna have some beautiful
moments in the game. Yeah. But I think ultimately it's gonna come down to a really tight score.
Kansas City is gonna try the last second and they're not gonna get it. And then I'm gonna get it
and the Eagles gonna celebrate in their face today. With their Philly cheesesteaks.
If that happens, I'm coming back to this video and I'm gonna be like, we are psychic.
The food stinks. So, Alessio approves the Super Bowl. Go Eagles!
