Dual Sport Plus isn't like other expensive, high-powered e-bikes. The electric pedal assist system provides a gentle assist that supports riders up to 20 miles per hour, or 25 kilometers per hour, depending on where you live. The 250-watt-hour battery is cleverly concealed within that down tube, and the 250-watt motor is built right into the rear hub. It mounts directly to the down tube with a few simple bolts, and plugs right into the charging port. Dual Sport Plus is available in a standard diamond frame and a stagger frame option for extra clearance getting on and off the bike. A simple one-by drivetrain keeps shifting simple and reliable, while powerful hydraulic disc brakes provide ample stopping power and great modulation even in the wet. Compared to FX Plus, Dual Sport Plus is slimmed down for a sportier ride. Without a lot of those commuter extras like a rack, fenders, chain guard, and kickstand, Dual Sport Plus is lighter weight and a bit more agile. However, riders can still add those options if they choose, and customize Dual Sport Plus to their liking. Front and rear daytime running lights are integrated into the system and powered by the same battery as the motor, so you'll never forget to charge them up before your ride.
