Sonego Takes On Van De Zandschulp; Korda & Medjedovic Feature | Marseille 2025 Day 1 Highlights

Comfort. Oh, he's got it. Shot of the match. Even if he's not landed that shot. He's got really accomplished at the net, hasn't he, Corbin? No one admits that. Well, he's rarely did extend. Beautiful. Looked a decent return, didn't it? Brilliant wrong footer at the net, wasn't it? Slim margins, sir. Well played. A forehand approach. Wirtanen swept it up. And again with the scotcher. That was on the half-volley. Got another bit of luck. He's got it. After seven years on the tour. The biggest win of his career. Out goes the number five seed. Through goes Otto Wirtanen. Far too early on that. Fantastic. Both guys. Two more vividly contrasting sets than we've had here. But finally, Lorenzo Sonnego. Oh, yeah. Not the worst shot. Best rally so far. Again, great movement from Collignon. Perhaps the final word. There is the breakthrough. The top of the net, I think it did. Well, that was a bit of a presence. Did look from the naked eyes if it was out. But obviously... Wow. Really entertaining. The drop shot doesn't work. And he gets the unforced error. A more huge draw. A good measure. But his serving in this set has been... This is the match evolved. An exceptional second set from Hamad Medvedevic.
