When a massive swell showed up in the forecast, just in time for the World Surf League's Nazaré Tow Surfing Challenge, all eyes were on team Young Bulls — Hawaii's Kai Lenny and Brazil's Lucas "Chumbo" Chianca. The duo did not disappoint, putting on a show in huge Praia do Norte that won't soon be forgotten. Fellow Red Bull team riders Justine Dupont, Andrew Cotton and Pedro "Scooby" Vianna also scored some historic Nazaré peaks.

What? That's crazy. I mean I didn't go out there expecting to catch the biggest wave of my life.
If I was deeper maybe I could have gone in the barrel. That was a sick ride. Kicking out by
the rocks. I was just going straight towards the cliff. I had no idea it was that big.
It felt big but when you're riding out here you don't look behind you. You're just like
focus on what's going on in front. I love big wave surfing.
Thank god for Lucas because he put me on the spot for it.
The playing field at Nazare is unlike anywhere else on the planet.
Unlike other big waves it's there's no channel. Like me being backside on the wave I can't even
look behind me to see how big it is but I can just see the shadow in front of me
like eclipse me and go way out to the flats and makes you realize how big the wave actually is.
Without doubt one of the most impressive guys out there is Lucas Chombo just because
I'm just stoked to be here with the best guys in the world getting to experience it.
