Make A Marking Gauge For Wood And Metal || DIY Marking Tool

A marking gauge is used in woodworking and metalworking to mark outlines for cutting or other purposes. The main purpose is to scribe a line parallel to a reference edge. A marking gauge or marking tool is the most common type of gauge used for marking. It uses a small pin, sometimes referred to as a spur, to mark the wood and metal when the tool is dragged across it.

In this video, I make a marking gauge. This marking gauge is also used to mark circle. This marking gauge is made from metal. In this marking gauge, I have used an 8mm square bar (9-inch length), a 10mm thickness metal plate (5.6cm*4.3cm), and 5mm and 6mm Allen key bolts. I hope you like this video.
