Thoughts on Christians and Christianity: Come Fount of every blessing

[Music] hi hiy now J good to see you well I've been having loads of questions about Christians and Christianity and I would just like to use this opportunity to debunk the misconception of our Christians and Christianity because most people imagine that we Christians are superum beings for me it's more a case of knowing that even if I wanted to be righteous I couldn't do it on my own I couldn't even have a good life if I wanted to so it's a case of me not because I want to but by the grace of God which is why Paul said that by Grace we are saved through faith and not of ourselves it is not of works either listen any man should boast it's so um I believe that human beings are naturally dirty meaning for example imagine not having a bath for 10 days the stench also take cooking in the kitchen there's hardly a way you want to do it that you don't make a mess so basically I believe that the Christian life is just a case of knowing that you will make a mess and you get ready with your brush and Parker or your Hoover and you tidy up after yourself it's a case of knowing that there's no way you can avoid making a mess and just getting ready for cleaning up so the Christian is not righteous because they are self-righteous it's because they know they are not able in fact I would say that we more than anyone maybe are worse than every other person except for the grace of God and it's that Grace that is open to everyone God being the father who pays the bill knowing that his kids are just who they are and in order not to spoil his name he decides to pay the bills of course there are some that won't take it there are some that will take it about the bath issue what differentiates me from a homeless person is the fact that I make an effort to clean up because who really can cure the wounded Soul or heal a broken spirit in this case of cleaning up it's God that does the cleaning up of a wounded Spirit or the broken heart thinking that Christians are a bunch of perfectionists or Perfect People is a total error and it is not true Christians are just righteous by the grace of God and it is by faith meaning if you look at us in the physical or in the natural we really do not we around being called self-righteous so can we just get these things right that Christians are not Flawless we are all sinners saved by grace and if anyone makes you think at any point in time that they are oress then please it's important you remember that's not quite true and that's why we work out our salvation with fear and trembling because at the end of the day it is God that justifies and like one of my lectures used to say you'll never know who a saint is except when we all get to heaven which is why I want to sing this song now come the Fone of Every Blessing tune my heart to sing by Grace streams of Mercy never ceasing hopeful songs of loudest Praise Jesus s Me Like a Stranger wondering from the face of God he to save my soul from danger into BS this Precious Blood oh to Grace how greater d daily I'm con strin to be let it Grace Lord like a f by my wondering Heart To Thee teach me L some rapturous measure before me thy Grace to prove while I sing the the countless Treasure of my gods and changing love prone to wonder Lord I feel it PR to leave the God I love take my heart oh take and seal it with a spirit from above rescu us from s in danger touches by the SA is R may I walk on earth a stranger as a son in hair of God prone to wonder Lord I feel it prone to live the God I love take my heart oh take and seal it with my spirit from above rescued us from sin and danger raise by the precious blood may I walk on earth a stranger and a son and he of God rescued us from sin and danger pures by the savior's blood may I walk on earth a stranger as a son and here of God and I pray is our prayer thank [Applause] [Music] you [Music] w n
