So it's Liverpool coaching staff in charge on the bench tonight.
Newcastle through Tonali, come away and then lose it.
Then Tonali wins it back, here's the chance for the break.
Into the Liverpool half, up to Murphy, Wilson in the middle.
Murphy goes for a cross, comes shot that Alisson probably had covered at his near post.
Wilson was offside again in the middle, up to Livermento in the centre,
and now they're in the final third, it's another good break.
Jacob Murphy into the box, going out wide, clips it in towards Wilson,
but Liverpool make the clearance and Alexis McAllister brings it away.
Again, getting through the thirds quickly and effectively,
and finding a good position, but the delivery not right.
And Liverpool now, threatening the Newcastle goal with Luis Diaz into the box.
The cutback!
Dominic Soboslai, and it went through a defender's legs,
and beat Nick Pope in the centre of the goal.
One they'll not be happy about.
Well, it's two and a half weeks before Wembley,
Eddie Howard tried not to make a connection between the two fixtures,
it's definitely not ideal to play them so close to the final.
Here's Callum Wilson, a ball over the top from Dan Byrne,
Wilson can take it on into the area, Wilson!
It's a cross goal and wide, no offside this time.
Over the top, Willock, a willing runner, chases,
and Joe Willock keeps it in right next to the corner flag.
Back to Gordon, Wilson in the box, Bruno and Murphy as well,
Gordon whips it in, Wilson goes for the header!
And it lands just wide of goal.
Two and a pound again.
Wilson is down, Tanali uncharacteristically giving it away,
McAllister at the edge of the box for Liverpool,
Salah in the area, on to his left, drags it back...
And Liverpool get a second goal.
Newcastle gave it away as they tried to get forwards quickly.
What I was saying was that they have got into good positions,
especially in the first half, they broke pretty well,
but the quality wasn't there.
Fabian Scherr could play in tripier, instead gives it to Bruno,
now Murphy gets it in the box, Murphy's cross,
pushed away by Alisson, and then cleared by Alexander-Arnold.
