Day 2 of the World’s HARDEST MTB race is here, and it’s even tougher than Day 1. With no chance to practice, I’m racing blind on steep, technical trails and pushing my speed to the max on exposed descents. Every second counts as I fight to climb the leaderboard in this relentless challenge. Can I survive Day 2 of the Trans Sierra Norte in Mexico? Let’s find out!

We're back for day 2 of what might just be the world's hardest mountain bike race,
the Trans Sierra Norte.
After an intense start yesterday, I finished day 1 in 11th place, not bad, but nowhere
near where I wanted to be.
Today the stakes are even higher.
We've been warned though, as day 2 is packed with longer, more technical stages, meaning
every second counts, and there's no room for mistakes.
These aren't just any downhills, they're faster, steeper, and way more unpredictable.
Tight racing, brutal terrain, and no chance to practice.
Can I claw my way back up the leaderboard and close the gap?
Let's find out.
Alright, Trans Sierra Norte day 2, we're at the top of stage 1 for today.
Blue sky.
I've been told by the race briefing we've got some amazing trails to look forward to.
The first one's kind of short and intense, and then they get more intense as the day
goes on with some pretty incredible sounding stages, so I'm going to drop straight in.
That was a wake up.
Yeah, I learned.
Rider!
Thank you.
Hands.
Wow.
That was tough.
I couldn't ride the pace I wanted to towards the bottom, just on the brakes.
So that was insane.
One of the longest trails I've ridden and the most intense, like my hands towards the
bottom.
Couldn't ride properly, but it stayed on.
Felt like I rode okay.
Feed station now and then back up to the next one.
Enjoy.
Enjoy, big wolf.
Yeah.
Another wolf in you go.
Oh wow, that's awesome.
You ran after him.
I thought you meant big wolf.
Well, he's awesome.
Enjoy.
He's there.
Enjoy, Alex.
Go.
He's right in the other one.
Ride out.
This was much fun.
The pedal was hard, that was a lot longer than 1.8k, yeah that was bollocks, that's
a f***ing lie, oh wise, that's a f***ing lie, that was way over 100m of climbing, it's
such a lie, get it done, alright enjoy, get it, get it bud, yep, whatever you guys can
hard, yeah it was hard to stay on the track, pushing too hard like that, just made a little
why, I couldn't walk, I couldn't go any faster, no I know, I did properly lean about so I'm
not doing good, I had to walk the whole thing, I couldn't even run it, I had to walk, did
you run? I tried at some point, but it was hard, I might get to the top and get on the
bike again, at some point I would get to the top, this is the beginning, yeah I also got
lost on a real fast bit where I just went left, so that was stage 5, one of the longest
we've done so far and bar that silly walk in the middle which was ridiculous, one of
the best trails I've ever ridden and raced, like so fast, so raw, like a proper mountain
bike track, that is the end of day 2 of Trans Sierra Norte, there'll be a link on the screen
somewhere around here to day 3 when it's available, but drop your comments below, hope you enjoyed
that one guys, peace out.
