iPhone 16e Unboxing + Camera Test - Best Budget iPhone?

what's good everyone it's Jossy here today Apple actually dropped their cheapest model for their iPhone 16 lineup the iPhone 16e and today we're going to unbox it and do a camera test and get some initial first impressions with the new iPhone 16e we did do a briefing with apple the other day so shout out to them for sending over this review unit they also sent us some really fun colorful cases that kind of got me excited about spring we have the new silicon cases in in a winter blue color and we also have a silicon case in the lake green color this is a white iPhone 16e with 512 GB of storage and I do think and I do think that the lake green color is probably going to pair the best with this white color all right so let's dive into this unboxing then we're going to do some initial Impressions with just the overall design and build of this phone along with doing a quick camera test just the standard packaging that all the iPhones come in all right that's really clean so we have the iPhone 16e this feels very similar to the iPhone 16 pro model it feels Sleek has that flat Edge design that looks really good and feels fantastic in hand so we just have this one camera bump for the two-on-one camera system with a 48 megapixel Fusion camera it is a little disappointing that the iPhone 16e doesn't come with the ultra wide lens I think people would have loved that especially the younger generation who loves taking those Ultra wide selfies and POV pictures and now we just have the braided charging cord and of course no block no stickers just a pill shape setup guide all right let's just place the iPhone 16e back in its box typically I would go with a clear case I just prefer having a clear case I like seeing the back of a phone especially when it's a nice and aesthetic design like an iPhone 16 so we've got the silicon case in Winter blue which actually looks a lot better next to the white iPhone 16e than I initially anticipated and then let's unbox the light green color I wonder if it is as dark as it looks on the cover of the box you know what I think I like the blue more what do you guys think yeah I think that looks better [Music] all right so we're in one of my favorite neighborhoods Dumbo and we're doing a selfie video camera test for the iPhone 16e and the iPhone 16e actually has the same selfie camera as the 16 Pro Max which is the 12 megap sensor with f 1.9 apure it's getting a little noisy because of the train behind us but I love that the iPhone 16e has having access to audio mixing so I can isolate my [Music] yeah yeah [Music] yeah uh yeah uh yeah [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so this is the first time we're seeing a super retina xdr OLED panel on Apple's budget friendly lineup which is a significant upgrade from the LCD panels previously used on more affordable Apple devices like the iPhone SE at 6.1 in that's a pretty big step up from the third generation iPhone SE at 4.7 in this larger display gives you much more screen real estate for watching videos browsing photos or playing games without feeling cramped it has 800 nits Peak brightness for everyday use but when watching HDR content or viewing photos it goes up to 1,200 nits making it much more immersive the P3 wide color gamut means you're getting incredibly accurate colors and deep blacks that make content really pop off the screen being able to have a richer viewing experience it's also pretty cool that this device does come with an action button that you can customize to your liking and apple intelligence the matte finish feels really smooth in hand like I mentioned reminds me of when I had my iPhone 15 Pro though it only comes in black and white color options for some reason it would have been nice to have some additional color choices [Music] the iPhone 16e comes packed with the powerful A8 chip delivering exceptional performance and advanced capabilities that enable a console quality gaming experience with this bigger battery combined with apple silicon and advanced power management of iOS battery life has gotten a major upgrade especially when comparing it to the iPhone 11 with 6 hours of more battery life 12 hours more battery life when comparing it to the previous generation of the iPhone SE and up to 26 hours of playback the 6E also comes powered with Apple's first ever C1 chip with 5G optimized for better streaming connectivity and E some Support also Apple finally brought the action button to the budget lineup there are some carrier deals which means that some of you all will have the chance of being able to purchase this at a lower price than $5.99 which makes this device an even better value so what do you all think of this new lineup for the budget iPhone lineup the iPhone 6 e do you think it's Apple's most powerful budget phone yet let me know in the comments and if you enjoyed this video give it a thumbs up consider subscribing for more Tech content and I'll see you all soon [Music] peace walk my [Music]
