How to Take Better Selfies for Instagram ♥

hey you guys welcome to my channel okay right off the bat I feel like this is really weird I never sit here and talk to you guys so many of you are like I want longer videos I want to see you talk so I'm talking for you today I'm going to be doing selfie hacks for you guys I'm going to be showing you like selfie tips and tricks so I hope you guys enjoy this video I'm going to go through a lot of different tips and tricks and please dear God leave your tips down below if you have any that I haven't mentioned today definitely leave them below let's get started this is so simple and quick if you're going to be taking a selfie and you're going to be smiling make sure that you are not wearing a white shirt it's going to make your smile look really really dull and the whites of your eyes really dull even if you have the whitest teeth I mean not like Randy Jackson white he's got really white teeth they will still look a little bit yellow if you wear a white shirt so make sure if you're going to be smiling always wear a colored t-shirt for this next one I'm going to let my new puppy bow explain or at least demonstrate for you guys it's all about lighting when you take a photo if you take a photo with the light behind you you'll notice your features are really dark you won't see anything and the photo will be very grainy in low quality so make sure you take all your photos in front of a window or some kind of light source so that you have higher quality photos that look way better if you're not the kind of person who can like look at your photos and decide which one looks good you can use an app like cinch which is basically like a poll app I wanted to make sure that there was a free app in here that's really helpful for selfies this one is really good if you're the type of person who takes like a lot of photos and then you ask a friend which one you should post this app is called cinch and it's for iPhone basically you go on and you post like a bunch of selfies or what outfit you want to wear tomorrow and people will vote and decide which one they like the the best if you download the app and follow me you can give input on my video ideas I've been putting up polls for which videos you guys want to see and a lot of you voted for this selfie video so that's why I'm making it this hack is really simple but it's going to change the way your selfies look because when you go to reach out and take a photo of course you have to use your other hand to tap the button this doesn't always look the cutest you can use your middle finger to hit the volume button and that will take the photo so you can keep your arm back you don't have to be like this and it'll just look so much more relaxed and natural so if you do your makeup and hair and you want to take like good photos make sure that you take a lot of them selfies are hard work you're not going to get a good photo if you just take three or four make sure that you take like 25 plus photos that way you can just kind of go through them and decide which one is the best selfies always look better with more hair more hair you have it always looks incredible so make sure that you bring all of your hair from behind your head to the front that's always going to make things look fuller more luminous and it makes the picture more interesting especially if you wear your hair curly so once you've already taken your photos I recommend having a really high quality app to edit them this one cost like $5 but it's totally worth it it's called face tune and you can add detail to your images you can smooth skin take away blemishes whiten teeth and there's so many lighting tricks and filters in this app that are so helpful and I can't really find them anywhere else so those are my top selfie taking tips I really hope you guys enjoyed this video and I hope that it improves your selfie game # look Alexandra if you take any photos and use these tricks I would love to like your photos and I can't wait to creep that hashtag thank you guys so much for watching I love you and I'll see you next time okay so like right away I want to get this off my chest if I'm like totally awkward sitting so I hope you guys enjoy this video I'm going to be telling you see that I'm so nervous oh my God so nerve okay I that's a really good way to start
