Warning: this is now a very old vid with horrible resolution 🤣 A 2300km loop from Queensland to Barrington Tops National Park in NSW. This is a very old video now from back when we were just filming our dirt rides - eventually we created a separate enduro channel and this became our adventure riding channel! This adventure ride happened after floods across the eastern half of Australia so plenty of flooded creek crossings. As much dirt as possible covering some private property (with permissions), state forests, national parks and remote dirt roads. Awesome trip with a KTM 690, TE610, Husaberg FE570 and KLR650. NOTE: at 16 minute mark, a rider jokes about cutting a hole in the rabbit fence for exhaust repairs. This was actually cut from spare wire hanging off a post, we would never vandalise anyone's fence, let alone the rabbit fence!
Well this is the start of our six-day ride. We're already in New South Wales on the Clarence River.
Scott, I reckon we've got about 50 to 60 more of those to go through.
Pulling literally half a ton of steel. Is that going to be enough? I just want to know,
will that be enough creek crossings for you? Guys, I just want to document this,
that Barry often calls us girls, but who is a little bit scared about getting wet socks
on the creek crossing? Oh diddums. You look like Mason then. He's got his wet boots.
It's a bugger, we just keep hitting creeks that are too deep. Too bloody deep.
So we met Sam the local farmer. What a fantastic guy. Fantastic bloke. Country
Hospitality supplied lamb chops, oiled the pans up for us, brought them down, some spuds,
alfoil, beers. Oh they're empty, we already drank them. Zucchinis and tomatoes.
What a top lake, eh? Well it's day three and we've got blue sky, which is pretty good,
and this is Scott's little trick camping setup. Very camp. And this is B2 in his James Bond gear.
It's the cat burglar.
Well after drowning Scott's bike yesterday, we
camped at Nundle. We're on our way to Moonan Flat.
So we made it. Who said we couldn't do it, eh?
Bloody slippery. Andy drowned his bike on the last crossing before this one,
so we're just trying to take it pretty easy this time.
Hospitality continues to amaze. Ron and Leona just let us camp in their front yard and
yeah, you were chatting last night, we got caught.
Pretty cool. And it wasn't this house, this is their old house.
We've just hit so many creek crossings we can't get across and
what do you reckon guys? Can we somehow make planks and get a ramp up?
Day five camp. Any highlights of the day? A bridge crossing. Oh, bridge engineers.
The bridge crossing was true adventure riding.
Well this is day six and we're somewhere between Walker and Deepwater.
These blokes are crap riders but their sons are going to be really good.
Hey Mason. Love you buddy. How are you buddy? You've got sons too. Ethan and Ryan. Good on you buddy.
Champion riders. These guys are almost as good as their dads already.
On the way down this one was uncrossable but looking a lot better now. We'll
give it a shot. We won't need to build a bridge will we? No. However I may do the
test walk across first. A test walk. A good idea. I got the wet boots.
Commercial Hotel Armadale. Beautiful. Glennons or Armadale. He gets confused easily.
We've come back the way we initially came down because of
other river closures and this looks a hell of a lot easier to cross this time.
And this is Girraween National Park. Is this our seventh day now or sixth day? Seventh day.
Seventh day. We've just had our final night. We're off to Brisbane. Morning. First aid.
This is the start of the rabbit fence that goes for thousands of kilometers across Australia.
We picked it up near Stanthorpe.
It's Maryland State Forest. Does it rate okay? Oh brilliant. And we're still along the rabbit fence.
So sorry you're saying it's a it's a rabbit and a dingo fence. Rabbit and dingo and the history is
this came from the wire factory and this is off a tree. And if you just go up about a case there's
a big hole in it and it's on my exhaust. Oh that's that's right. Husqvarna exhaust repair.
Yeah rabbit proof husky bar. Yeah baby. This is the life.
