The station owned by Vincent Bolloré, the magnate of the media, whose conservatism and Catholicism have long made him a hated figure by globalists. According to Arcom, they forced C8 to close because it violated the transmission guidelines, in particular because the station was not diversified enough in its contents, which were focused on entertainment programs. About 400 journalists lost their jobs following the decision to close the two stations. Last year, another of Vincent Bolloré's former colleagues, CNews, became the most followed news channel in France for its opposition to the ideology of the globalist elite. In early 2024, the Statue Council called CNews to show greater diversity in its opinions. A threat that, however, never turned against the French globalist broadcasters. The British police was again accused of intimidation after police officers showed up, as you can see, at the door of a woman who had posted critical comments on the Labour Party to the government. Many realize that the police is increasingly used as a political tool, a practice incompatible with democratic principles. In addition to the evident restriction of freedom of expression, such measures waste precious police reserves in a country where the crime rate is constantly increasing. Ellen Jones, 54, had written critical comments on Labour politicians in Facebook groups. Just 48 hours later, the police showed up at her door. Jones criticized the Labour councillor of Stockport, David Sedgwick, and asked for his resignation in two Facebook groups, one private and one public, in which it was said Let's hope I do the right thing and resign, but I think his ego will not allow it. We do not expect a good situation for councillor Sedgwick. Shortly after, the police showed up at her door. Someone told us about her posts on social media. When the officers arrived, Jones, a school principal, was at home taking care of his grandson. Shortly after, he received a phone call informing him that a complaint had been filed against him. The story suggests that it was a so-called non-criminal hate crime. A practice based on which statements that are not criminally relevant are still recorded by the police. Jones asked the officers if he had broken some laws or if he should face criminal consequences if he continued to publish such content. The answer was no. And no. Trump has signed a directive to counter censorship requests on European social media and to defend online freedom of speech. The American president contests taxes on digital services, claiming that they promote online censorship and threaten the freedom of speech of Americans all over the world. The administration also intends to evaluate the policies of the European Union and the United Kingdom, which could push American companies towards practices that, according to the memorandum, compromise freedom of speech or contribute to censorship. The main regulations under review include the Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act of the European Union. The White House has reported potential countermeasures, including tax evasion if these regulations are considered harmful to the commercial interests of the United States.
