Good evening, everyone. If you're a fan of stargazing, you won't want to miss this rare
celestial event happening this week. For the last time until 2040, seven planets will align in what's
known as a planetary parade, and you'll have the chance to see them in the night sky. Let's break
it down, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars will be visible to the naked eye, with Venus and Jupiter
standing out as the brightest. Mars will have its signature reddish glow. Saturn will appear lower
on the horizon and may be a bit trickier to spot, while Uranus and Neptune will require a telescope.
The best time to witness this stunning planetary lineup is right after sunset on Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. However, keep in mind that the viewing window is brief,
so timing is crucial. So, why is this happening? The planets orbit the Sun along a similar flat
plane, and at certain times, their positions align from our viewpoint here on Earth,
creating this breathtaking visual display in the sky. According to Dr. Edward Bloomer from the
Royal Observatory Greenwich, here are a few tips to get the best view. First, avoid looking at your
phone right before you go outside, your eyes need time to adjust to the darkness. Next, find a
location with minimal light pollution and an unobstructed horizon view. The clearer the skies,
the better your chances. Just last month, a similar event featured six planets in alignment.
But this time, all seven will be visible, so don't miss your chance. Remember,
this won't happen again until 2040, happy stargazing, and good luck spotting the planets.
