(Serie A 2024/2025): Highlights NAPOLI - VERONA

Politano, Di Lorenzo, Lukaku. Di Lorenzo again! And it's crept in. Last touch off the keeper. Montipo. And Di Lorenzo gets Napoli off to a flyer. Not even five minutes on the clock. Luboc, Lukaku, first-time hit. And very nearly, 2-0 to Napoli. Faraone towards Tengstedt. Very nearly an equaliser. Spinazzola. Bion Belayan. Neres. Still. Mctominay. Again, lovely build-up play. But again, just lacking that final shot. Spinazzola. There's the header. Off the line by Faraone. Ongisa. Lukaku. Back with Ongisa. Nice feed. Ongisa! It's a belter from the Cameroon International. And he gives the Azzurri that crucial second goal. As Castanos goes for goal. Castanos. Moret punches it away. Ngonge. Space opening up. Ngonge! Very nearly a wonder goal from distance. Nicely done by Livramento. Fails to catch out, though, Alex Moret. Napoli show there is life beyond Kvicic, Cavarazzalia. Final score here. Napoli 2, Verona 0.
