okay wasn't going to film I just stopped
in here with Bae real quick but it's the
first Nursery of the year I had to give
everybody a look there's no not much
here yet but they have more than any of
the other nurseries and look at this
espalier it's a brackens brown
espalier I'm thinking about it feel like
that price isn't bad dormant Shrubbery
I've got a car loaded up with annuals
inside that yall will see and they have
a smaller one I love a smaller
one $2.49 God that's so tempting
Sy little darling dwarf I wonder if they
have any of the new
Bloomerang
lilacs those are really cool oh they
have the Falling Falling Waters weeping
bald Cyprus these are beautiful can you
even there you go you can kind of see it
Castle Spire Hol and they look good too
these have a really great shape to
them really great shape to them I think
these go like 8 to 12 8 to 10 8 to 10
high yeah they're 5 through seven so
it's a really good shape easy to prune
on and make them look nice quick
standards Limelight standards wonder if
they'll do the quick fire fabin a
standard got some Red Buds Ba's in the
greenhouse right now and I don't know
why I said I was going to be out here I
don't know what they're doing in there
so I should probably wrap it up because
they're just hanging out doing
absolutely nothing probably wondering
what the heck's going on with me out
here yeah we'll get back to the house
and you'll get to see some fun stuff oh
it's nice junipers
yeah see they're they're still stocking
up only March 2nd still long ways to
go look at that shine that's beautiful
I'm home it's kind of gloomy out but
that's okay there's still some plants to
look at part of the the Laura G Dancer
Of course in the background watch out
kitten kitten you better move you better
move you ready to go outside been
begging me for a while we had some
storms last night supposed to have some
really bad
storms tonight until tomorrow also did I
ever say hello hey what's up Garden
friends Jeff here is everybody doing
hope you're doing well I'm great I don't
why didn't I did I I probably didn't do
that at the nursery cuz I was just like
pick up the camera and go you going to
do it there you go nice big jump this is
a big old nothing video if you haven't
figured that out by now I'm going to
show you some of the new plants do some
things I don't know some stuff's going
to happen for several minutes and then
it's going to be over you love the
dedication oh oh pumpkin needs a
sanitary trim kitten probably does too
what is that what was that what did you
just do what is that I don't know I'm
going to pretend I didn't see it no
can't do that it's just a it's a piece
of plastic prepping for spring I'm sure
you saw some of the bunnies upstairs in
my office and got some other things
getting ready to go on here do the
Easter Easter is not until really late
this year like late April but I'm just
going to go ahead and decorate early not
now though I actually still have some
Christmas stuff out because I'm gutting
the basement and I'm trying to rearrange
things so I'm not taking stuff down
there when there's not room for it yet
but almost there got to get get through
taxes it's tax season the YouTube taxes
are
due next week March 15th when is this
video coming out probably tomorrow March
15th nobody cares about that and that
depends on how you follow your taxes I
got some gorgeous T Vera too beautiful T
Vera some really nice pieces so yeah I'm
going to mic up we can go outside and
look at some plants good Lord I was
going to do some front facing stuff but
look at my allergies my eyes are so look
at the kitty over here that bugging you
like stop talking to the camera oh and
maybe put your microphone on I'm sorry I
wasn't even filming any of that I was
saying going to put the mic on we'll go
outside and look at some plants love the
spring hate the allergies turbo say hi
hello ready you go outside oh he's so
excited I'm so excited too it's so nice
outside very dry my eyes are not
appreciating the dry there we go that's
better kind of my screen dimm down g
g ever have those days where it's not
sunny out but for some reason the type
of lighting is just like burning your
eyes out and that's what's going on with
me today I don't think it's
actually the light I think that I'm
turning the camera I've become a
baby cuz I've been inside all winter
long and the sun just it hurts it hurts
too much okay now I'm outside in the
public and I don't I don't want to look
like a douche walking around filming
myself got the hose hooked up that's a
big deal hooking this hose up is such a
pain and for the first time ever got it
hooked up without a leak there's no is
it leaking there better not be a leak
there's always a drip I use the plumbers
tape and everything put a new washer in
it worked out great have it all spread
out here because it was um kind of kinky
so I wanted to pull it out let the sun
hit it even though it's not really all
that warm thought it would be a good
idea to do that things are going well in
the greenhouse in here and get this guy
popped open have a look at the plants
the Cold Frame it's not really a
greenhous but it does stay nice and warm
starting to see some life on some stuff
we have one low coming up not tonight
but tomorrow night where they're
predicting it's going to be like in the
maybe upper 20s I think they said
27 so I need to scoot these things back
and make some room for Flats right cuz I
have all those annuals out there that'll
be showing you in just a minute and
that's a little bit too cold for him
although that's only a few Flats maybe
I'll just take them in the house it' be
easier to just pull them in the house I
always say because they have flowers on
them and they're predicting some extreme
wind we'll see what they mean by extreme
they like to get very dramatic but the
thing is if you don't take it seriously
then something happens and if you do
take it seriously then nothing happen so
it's it's a losing battle with that but
because they all have flowers on them
maybe I'll just pull them inside and set
them on the kitchen table and their
pansies not going to be harmful to the
cats the alysum lobula I'll Place
elsewhere up high so the C cats can't
get to them they probably won't mess
with them anyways they'll sniff them and
stuff but they're not going to not
likely to chew on them anyways uh things
are going well here in the greenhouse
I've started to see some swelling and
some budage here on the baby grand
Magnolia who had some winter damage but
it's okay as long as we keep this trend
up and keep that swell going then as
soon as these things start to open up
can come in here and trim off some of
these and it'll flush back out from the
inside and I think I have this spot
ready where I want this to goow it was
supposed to get planted up last year but
the spot where it's going to go needs a
lot of work so I hadn't gotten to that
yet the uh let me see can we see are you
guys going to be able to see it I'm
going to try and get in there okay yeah
you can kind of see it starting to be
some swelling here on the stems for
these panicle hydranges These are ber
white panicle hydranges that I
overwintered in here I did a snap test
usually you can just use a scratch test
but I just cut my nail so I couldn't do
a scratch test so I did a snap test and
there's still a good amount of green in
there this is from a few days ago so I
don't know you can't really see the
green anymore but a few days ago you
could see it I don't mind doing a snap
test that happen the St cuz these are
all going to be pruned off here in a few
weeks anyways only thing that's not
looking too hot is the
gardinia H it might be dead the whole
point was to try it out and see if it
was going to do okay with our Winters
and I figured it wouldn't it's ready for
Zone 7 I'm technically Zone 7 now but I
don't buy that 6B I'll go 6B 7 I don't
think so but uh yeah there's still some
green in
here but it's not much it's not much at
all I'm doing my best to keep it watered
I think that what happened here well I
don't think I know what happened here is
this got freeze dried so I left it out
for too long the coolest temperature I
think I let this thing take was like 15
but it is in a container and sometimes
the sharp swings can cause problems yeah
that's a lot of brown in there I don't
know it might be a might be a goner and
then the Carrs that are down here the
ever Ros ever real evero I don't know I
need to do some cutting back on those
but they're fine so they're somewhat
Evergreen I have one that's outside show
that looks a lot better than these so
they'll maintain a lot of their green
for the winter time but then the closer
you get into spring I assume they're
kind of like a hooka in this sense or
maybe a cast iron plant they start to
fizzle out a lot of ferns do this too
like the Autumn ferns they start to look
kind of scraggly and need to be sheared
back and they flush back out I think
that's what's going on with these guys
right here cuz they still seem okay I
think they just need to be cut back and
have a good start over they're nice and
moist everything in here's been getting
water I don't remember that's a rose
it's a random Rose I found out in the
garden I think it's one of the patio
roses I like to have roses out here in
containers because they put on a nice
show in the springtime they flush out
with foliage well before anything else
does so I like to have a variety of
roses out here to play with in the
springtime and I'd like to go smaller
ones that can stay containerized oh here
comes that wind lots and lots of wind oh
I got the fountain up and running too it
didn't crack that's great news no cracks
in the fountain none that I've noticed
anyways oh speaking of fountains it's a
place where I got this Tela from it's
called Gringo Jones they're here in St
Louis if you ever have a chance to go
there I highly recommend it they import
from all over the place have the best
collection of T Vera Pottery I think
I've ever seen in my life they also have
these beautiful cast aluminum fountains
and they're a third off so they're $400
off so 1,200 marked down to $ 800 and
then um I would get a wholesale discount
which I don't know if I would use that
or not cuz that gets complicated with
taxes I'm not reselling it
although that gets really complicated
I'm not going to talk about that right
now use that as a business expense I
don't really know how I feel about that
I feel like they kind of that might be I
I like that need to go into all that I I
wouldn't use that discount it would only
be another like $40 off cuz it's already
mark down substantially but that's like
6 and 1/2 7t tall three tiers they also
have a four tier one that has a
beautiful base that looks like has swans
on it I don't have any good pictures to
show you but it's beautiful and I'm
thinking about getting it to have in
place of either this well not of either
I would get rid of that Fountain that's
not really Fountain that's just a big
bowl with one of my favorite pots
sitting on the inside and I've been
thinking this is turning into a garden
tour I should save this for a couple
weeks what I'll just repeat it during
the garden tour this little space gets
gutted every single year can see I still
have a few pots to clean up in here and
uh it's the tortoise Garden so I have a
wall of lava that goes right here and a
wall back there and this is where kobby
the tortoise hangs out during the
summertime Kobe has grown significantly
and I'm thinking that I would like to
expand the tortoise Gardens instead of
the wall for it the back wall being
right here maybe bringing that out so
that it goes
from I guess it have to be right here
cuz it can't get in the way of the bar
for the hot tub cover so they have to go
from right here and make a sharp turn
down to that corner so he would have all
of this area right here and the Tortoise
Garden is also part of the garden so you
walk through the garden I have to walk
you through it I got to explain they're
small garden beds but they're still fun
I like to have a mandering garden so
over here is the shade garden started
this last year got some fun stuff going
on have a path that needs to be somewhat
excavated that comes down here
and I need to come in here and retrench
this and do some things do some pruning
over here but I would like to make it so
there's the path that keeps going this
way and then things split off and go up
that hill to where the chitalpa some Spa
the espalier apples and things go up
there onto that hill and then you can
come through here if you dare walk
through the Minefield of dog poop and
come up through this part of the garden
and I was thinking it' be really pretty
to have a spot love it out here with
it's just a big Grand fountain in it I'm
also thinking a really big like six and
it is it's probably almost as tall as
this light post that might look pretty
dumb right next to the light post like
within eyesight of it I think that'll
look weird Okay tucked myself out of it
still really into the idea of what I was
saying with the fountain but maybe
something more Squat and wide would make
more sense than the Really T I just I
love the cast aluminum it's lightweight
and I mean it lasts forever and you
don't have to wor about it cracking
during the winter time you can keep the
water in while winter you shouldn't but
you
can I mean I could get it and put it
somewhere else but if I wanted to found
one here why would I spend the money on
one to put somewhere else when I didn't
even know that I wanted one in a
different spot you know what I mean and
if you're new here this looks completely
different like mid April through
November this is just you know I haven't
done my spring cleanup yet I have a
whole bunch of stuff I need to spread
over here and a few pots and things
going be picked up there'll be palm
trees and annuals and tropicals and
things all over the place in a few weeks
I would really like to bring out oh this
is last Fall's pile stuff I need to take
out I'd really like to bring out the
Windmill Palm but they're saying you
know these strong winds tonight and
tomorrow then a low of like 27 which is
fine for the windall pal but it's been
in the garage the grow space for such a
long time I think that I just don't
think it would like it I want to take it
from being in the stagnant garage
there's lots of air flow but in the area
where I have the Windmill Palm there's
not a lot of air flow uh cuz it's like
just inside the door I have most of the
fans up closer where the heater is near
the bulk of the tropical plants anyways
I think it would be rude I don't think
it would like coming out here it just
got all torn up and everything but I
would like to bring that out here and
get it tucked back in here hopefully not
by this Saturday's video but the
Saturday after this is all kind of a
Prelude to not this Saturday but next
Saturday I already have this Saturday's
video filmed I know everything's weird
cuz I pre-filmed so I could take time
off to work on the taxes and get some
stuff done in the basement but that
throws off my timeline so everything
you're going to see on Saturday is stuff
that happened way before this video and
then uh I'm going to continue basically
right off of this video and move into
the Saturday Afters video I know it's
weird anyways let's just move on and
look at some plants not a ton to see yet
because this is the first load of the
year at the nursery uh there are lots of
nurseries out here they're the first
ones I'm wor of that have pansies in a
lot of them are starting to get some
house plants and things inside they
Greenhouse but I wanted pansies I wanted
the spring color they're just so happy
yeah remember who this is Rose Matrix
white botch something hold on where did
it go grandio white with rose blotch
that's the same of this one and there's
a mix I think there's also some Frizzle
sizzles in here yeah that's a Frizzle
Sizzle right Frizzle Sizzle mix so there
are a few of the Frizzle Sizzle mixes
here's what the mix looks like you get
the orange just that really fun heavily
lobed or curly I guess what you say
curly petals
some of my favorites I love the Frizzle
sizzles look at that that's such a
beautiful happy flower isn't it I love
that so much and there's just I just
tried to get a good blend so I have two
Flats of those be able to have some fun
with all those pansies it's a lot of
color oh hi hello what are those noises
is the wind freaking you out you're okay
you're okay that's just the neighbor be
nice to the neighbor and there's that W
this is what I say about the greenhouse
I don't if there's a point in putting
the annuals in there cuz I feel like the
green house might blow away tomorrow it
seems very probable I have heavy things
lined up around the bottom but I mean
it's just a giant sail nothing in there
is going to be hurt if the greenhouse
blows away those are all plants that can
handle the upper 20s I don't really even
need it at this point but I want it to
help progress things along a little bit
get them moving a little bit faster the
lysm the lobula these I thought they
were the crystal mix but they're not
actually which is fun they're the Easter
Bonnie Violet I think this one's
probably Easter B B white yeah and then
there's one that's Easter bonnet mix
might be this one yeah Easter bonnet mix
uh I usually plant the crystal mix
that's what's most commonly available
with the lobal areas it's what I usually
see for sale um or there's also of
course ones from Proven Winners like the
snow princess and white night violet
night fun lobula but I don't usually see
The Proven Winners annuals out this time
of year and they're so much cheaper to
get in these six packs too but just
lobular they do not do anything like the
Snow Princess or the white knight do
there just massive amount of growth but
last couple years I planted my uh what
is it the White Knight it hasn't really
performed for me the way that it used to
which could be you know the changing
light or something but I don't know I
don't know if maybe that plant needs a
reset or something I've actually been
getting better growth out of just my
regular lobal areas not necessarily
size-wise like the white Knight's still
getting bigger but a little bit ly uh
but the fragrance just isn't there like
it used to be with the White Knight and
the Snow Princess and that happens it's
really common like with the knockout
roses anything when you hybridize them
to grow in flower vigorously you often
times lose fragrance like a lot of
patunas patunas like the old classic
kinds that need a dead heading oh the
fragrance on those was just spectacular
especially the purple ones almost all
purple patunas smell wonderful and even
still a lot of the purple ones still
smell really nicely at least in the
evening time but the the lobular areas
that I was getting those ones from
Proven Winners the last couple years I
couldn't smell anything on them but
these right here you smell it we'll
sniff it together you smell
that oh it's so fresh it's such a sweet
fresh scent it makes me so happy so I
like to use these as fers and then
pansies to go behind them and that's all
I have I did grab a few herbs uh there's
some thyme here and then I have some
peppermint up there I don't know why
about the peppermint I have peppermint
going inside you don't need much mint
you only need one mint plant whether
it's a peppermint spearmint you don't
need to buy multiples of them that was
ridiculous but the ones I have are from
seed and they're still a little bit
small on that one I'm like well I can
pull off that now can dig into it right
now and add it to my tee oh and I did
grab just one come back here and try and
grab it a candy tff one of the
snowflakes this a lot of wind starting
to butt up getting those fun little
white balls on it these you see that
it's just the cutest little white
flowers these are a great Rock Garden
plant and they should be Evergreen too
oh yeah it even says Evergreen candy
tuff on there they go 8 to 10 in high
they bloom March through April I've had
these Bloom for me up until early June
before just depends on how cool our
evenings stay if the evenings stay nice
and cool then sometimes they'll keep
going but I mean they won't go all
summer but sometimes you can squeeze out
their Bloom time a little bit longer
just another fun PL this is a Peno I
probably should have mention that what
was it 3 through N9 I think on that one
it just says zone three yeah so down to
my is 40 that should be plenty cold
tolerant for most people like said great
in Rock Gardens really just overall
really tough plants the flowers in the
spring are just really fun and Cherry so
I would like to get going with Spring
plantings and stuff like that like I
said we have one more night it's going
be fairly cool and I don't have any
centerpieces I only have two things here
so I need to get like some spikes or
something like that I might do something
with the stings maybe I know the stings
this what I'm talking about right here
these arbs they're in very large
containers I don't really think I'm
going to do much with those right now
probably just throw some sticks or
something in the middle of a popet i'
rather just wait another week and see
what I can find I have some things I
need to plant up for some other people
so I would like for them to look nice
and have various levels of height in
them and just some things to carry
things through the season so the pansies
where I live here in St Louis once it
gets really hot during the summer they
tend to fizzle out unless you go ahead
and move them into a more shady location
uh and even then they'll still kind of
fizzle out and you just kind of want to
just keep them going with the green and
sometimes flush back out for you in the
fall time uh that takes some dedication
I don't ever do that with pansies just
because I don't have time there's always
so many other things going on by that
time of year you know by June mid June
usually is when they start to look
pretty bad once our nighttime
temperatures are starting to be in the
70s and 80s and daytime temperatures are
in the '90s they're not usually very
happy so I think it would be nice that
if these are going some of these are
going to go into an arrangement for
other people to have the nice filler SLT
trailer The Edge plant being the lobula
here with a row of pansies behind them
and then something tall in the middle
that can carry through so like as just a
cheap little spike plant you know those
will grow all summer long and they can
get pretty big you can take them inside
and make them to a house plant or maybe
a little Quin fraasa something like that
just something that's tall that will
also carry through and you can pull the
pansies out and plant something else
around the centerpiece so yeah I don't
have any center pieces yet that's why
I'm not plan any these up yet hopefully
soon should have been given better looks
at some of these aren't these beautiful
like look at this is one of the reasons
I was drawn towards this one the I
should have told about this one this is
one of my favorite ones this is the
Delta classic cotton candy mix they
didn't have a lot of these but you can
see look at the tag look at it are you
observing I know it's so hard to see
picture but just look at it that's no
that wasn't helpful they have a very
sweet flower on them they're not all In
Bloom right now I wish they were so I
could show you more you can see they
start off a lighter color and then the
saturation starts to kick in as they age
but they aren't heavily saturated it's
very light coloring on this and I'm
really hoping that we get some of these
Blues in here it looks like this one's
going to be one of the blue ones that
bluish purple color cuz it just looks so
nice it's such a sweet flower and I
think I only got one of those there's
only one of these right Frizzle
Sizzle White blotch Rose blotch that's
the rose blotch that's a rose BL but it
looks like there or no no there's not I
could only find one of these so but I
wish that I could have found more
because I just love I love it I love
this pansy so much the Delta classic
cotton candy mix is so freaking pretty I
know that was loud are you okay you're
okay you're a good boy supposed to say
are you okay I'm just let him know that
everything's okay some strong wind yeah
it's okay it's just a little wind you're
fine you're fine everything's fine turbo
yeah really pretty can't wait to see
those Bloom up some more here's that
other CarX I was talking about the
everillo so this one I moved out a
little bit sooner than the others and
it's looking pretty good have some stuff
need to clean out in it but it remained
looking like this pretty much throughout
the entire winter now that's undercover
right so they were only outside probably
until mid January whenever we started to
have a lot of snow and ice is when I
moved them in and then they stayed in
there for the rest of the winter time
and they're Hardy all the way to zone
five or six I believe do these even have
tags on them I don't think they do no
they're pretty sturdy and if you do live
in a really cold climate then they'll
die back and just regrow for you but I
want to test these out for their
Evergreen qualities because they're sold
as Evergreen I'm like I want to see
about that this is the best looking one
out of the bunch the other is not
looking too hot you saw them right this
one looks pretty good though I love the
flower so much pansies are just one of
those flowers where you can't help but
feel good and smile when you look at
them their flowers are just so stinking
cherry and happy look at that one isn't
that beautiful just all these right here
what a great shot color so nice to have
color again finally okay taliva time I
have things piled over here I had them
sitting on the table but uh with this
wind coming and everything sometimes
that table tends to blow over during
extreme storms so I thought maybe I
should put things over here this tall
one in the back this isn't mine okay so
I have somebody who wants me to put
together a spring arrangement for their
best friend who loves pansies and we
were at the store said well see if we
can find a pot I think we go to an
antique store and get like a cheap
trough or something like that just some
kind of bowl uh and uh this is what they
picked out it's a bird bath base but it
was very very affordable it was marked
down in price I think it was like $70
something like that it had a really big
base that goes with it for another 70
bucks but I had explained that i' have
to drill a hole in that you know T
Vera's art right people hand paint these
things and a lot of time and effort goes
into them and they had like these um
molded Turtles and frogs and things on
the inside that were you know
three-dimensional and I was just like it
would be a shame to drow a hole in that
but I mean if you wanted me to then I
would and then saw the hole in here and
said hey that'll work and I was like
okay if that's what you want to do
that's what we'll do plant that up I'm
going to try and get a different bowl
that goes in here it'll spread out a
little bit more and fill that top with
some color get a nice centerpiece in it
I think it's absolutely beautiful kind
of wish I had got one cuz how pretty
would this be just like tucked back into
a corner in the garden the only thing
with the t is it's really you're not
supposed to leave it out in the cold so
I don't usually buy big pieces because
you have to you have to be aware that
maybe they might freeze and they might
crack so all the tele stuff that I get
has to go inside so I usually get the
little ones the little guys trying to
sit away from the wind hey hi nice to
see you oh I know I'm on your level it's
throwing off everything right
if you ever wondering how tiny that love
seat is now you know so here are the
other
pieces I don't really know what else to
say about them other than I just picked
up ones that I really liked that I like
the colors on it's got some Cactus some
Agave some birds some clouds you can see
the other cactus in there and it's more
of a desert style theme to it I really
like the colors on it my favorite telas
are usually the ones with fish on them
those aren't as easy to come by I don't
see them as often but I really like
these cuz I just like the colors on them
see the aunti is on there at the Nepal
Cactus we got our sleeping guy on there
some clouds just really nice pretty pots
very pretty some of these are signed not
all of them oh and I liked this one I
just really enjoyed this color scheme I
thought it was a nice nice blend cuz
it's got all the colors it's not really
a blend it's got everything some nice
more traditional style that goes to it
as well and there's a slight metallic
Sheen to the green I don't know if
you're going to be able to see that on
camera but it's it's very slight and
it's very subtle the way the pattern was
done in here almost looks like a tile I
just I love it I love that pot that's
why I got two of them got the what is
this probably a it's probably 6 in and
maybe a four or 5 and a half in just 5
in so it' be easier to show you cuz I
can hold it up longer oh those a colors
that's just such a pretty pot I don't
usually buy a lot of Tela that has a lot
of unglazed space you can see like
trying to point this out I should have
oh noise should brought my tripod out
here see how there are areas on here
where it's not glazed I usually like for
them to be completely glazed over but I
bought this one and another one that's
inside that have a lot of the clay
showing through and I actually really
like them I was surprised but they're
just a little bit more subtle subtle
this is very subtle you know what I mean
just something different I really
enjoyed them and then I also got this
one this one who's tag I'm still working
on getting off the top the Tag's stuck
on there pretty good I'm trying to be
very gentle with how I get that out this
is going to be a Mother's Day present so
I got this far in advance but I just
know this is something that my mom would
absolutely love she likes things that
are just cute and colorful it's a cat
she loves cats perfect gift and it's got
the little hole in it and everything I
also just realized if they put the
flower like right on the butt if it's
tail were up that would be really
funny yeah it's just a cute cat I like
all the details on it though
whoever was painting on this one really
took their time you can see a lot of
nice pretty shading and outlining
especially on the Petals of these
flowers that's the thing I love about t
is just so much time and effort goes
into them I try to never buy them from
Big Buck stores I like to buy them when
I know that they're from the people who
are making them or from somebody who
went down there and bought them from
people who are making that's why I like
to get them from that Greeno Jones place
they just bring in absolutely they'd
bring in so much artwork from Mexico ah
that was loud thought something was
about to blow over and hit me okay one
more pot we'll go inside and have a look
at it are you done he's
done turbo does not like the wind that
was an awkward transition I thought I
had paused that's why there was that
weird Gap there but I hadn't you want to
come in you come in come on yeah it's
not that often turo wants to go inside
apparently he's starting to be afraid of
storms o almost forgot about this it's
my favorite piece that I got look at
that isn't this freaking beautiful it's
a fruit bowl I was thinking bird bath
and I was specifically thinking
succulents wouldn't that be so pretty I
love this I absolutely I'm trying to
find the right light trying to find the
right light kitten what do you think
kitten
approved yeah you going give it a
sniff how's it
smell okay thanks for the
feedback very well painted just so much
color so much liveliness yeah like I
said pretty sure it's supposed to be a
fruit bowl but I would love to put
plants in it but then that goes back to
the thing I was saying before about how
I don't want to drill a hole in these
things either but I'm not going to pop
this up with succulents without any kind
of drainage because I would want it
Outdoors inside I wouldn't be concerned
about that you just water it very
carefully outside we have rain so I
would need to pop a hole not right in
the middle but right along the edge
probably right here and right
there I don't know I could probably find
a way to do it so that it wouldn't be
too
terrible the glaze will probably crack a
little bit I it's just something I have
to to think about it just feels like
such a shame to pop a hole in it but
that is the only reason I bought it no
matter what it is a bowl right so if you
fill it up with stuff you're not going
to be able to see the artwork on the
inside so I don't feel that bad about
filling up with a potting
mix yeah I like it it also kind of
reminds me of ninja turtles that
Michelangelo it was the orange one or
rafhael Raphael was red Michelangelo was
orange
Donatello purple Leonardo blue I think
sorry had to sort that out in my brain
this is the last one and I think that it
is absolutely beautiful it's different
from all the others that I've gotten and
that it's not quite as Vivid and
insane but it has a lot of texture can
you even see the texture try and get in
closer don't know it's going to show on
camera but it has a lot of bumps and
ripples and you can really feel the
glaze the paint on there and it's one of
those ones like I where you can see the
actual clay through it so it's not
completely covered so well it's not
necessarily more subtle it's in a way
more subtle it's not quite as loud does
that make sense maybe I don't know I
just love the T Vera containers this
one's pretty big I mean for the T Vera
that I buy I don't buy that many very
large ones like I
mentioned it's a good size look at the
shape at the top that a fun shape I love
that really nice shape looking good
orchid's doing well you say hi look at
all the color so much color okay anyways
that's going to do it had fun got to go
to a nursery picked up some soil got all
those pots spring annuals truckloads of
plants are starting to roll in here at
the house I have lots of roses there's
some supposed to be coming today I think
it's probably a box of roses I can't
remember hopefully not Tropicals I did
see that I did accidentally schedule one
of my deliveries for mid-march with my
annuals that wasn't smart cuz I'm going
to have to take care of those right for
a long time before I can get them Antics
I don't really like to plant many of the
annuals until late April into mid May so
I don't know hopefully that thing is
still standing and if it is then I'll
just pop them in there for a few weeks
if not I can make room for the grow
space kind of not really grow space is
pretty full but okay yeah that's enough
comment down below say hi Happy Spring
though it's not technically spring it's
meteorological spring and I'm fine with
that I'm going to call it spring we have
one day forecasted blow freezing in the
next like 10 to 14 days so that's very
spring like for me who's excited start
getting some stuff planted up and get to
go outside and play in The Gardens
finally I haven't got any planting done
yet there's still some ice out there
from all the snow we had a few weeks ago
the ground's pretty much thaw I want to
let it thaw some more and I don't do
garden cleanup I should have clarified
this I've been avoiding garding garden
garden cleanup uh I usually try and wait
to do much with the leaves and
everything until we've had a couple of
weeks above like 55 into 70 once I start
to see a lot of bees and things flying
around I don't mind but until then
like to hold off just because a lot of
insects the good and the bad over winter
inside all that Fallen debris so I do a
like a a clean up I blow everything off
the patio and everything in the fall and
I'll usually take out a few bags of
fresh stuff that's Fallen but then the
rest of it just gets piled up down over
here around the BM and behind that BM
and then give it some time and pull it
up and then throughout that time between
like I don't know what is that late
November when they fall to now whatever
goes over there ends up blowing around
so there's a lot of debris and so need
to be cleaned up but I'm looking forward
to the clean up it's going to be fun
going to be a lot of fun get the power
washer out and get things looking fresh
we get the pool un covered I said it was
going to go bye as always and most
importantly everybody keep on growing
bye bye
