How to use Powerpoint text animation .This explains how to effectively use MS Powerpoint text animation.
[Music]
next I want to show you how to do
animation on text with text we can make
the lines come in one at a time when you
have a text box like this see how we
have a text box with the bullets we can
make the bullets come in one line at a
time so what I'm going to do is I pick
on the text box pick on animations and
then custom animation you can see how
this window opens on the side I want to
say add effect now an entrance means how
is it going to come into the slide an
emphas means how is it going to leave
the slide an exit or an emphas means
once it's on the slide maybe we can um
enhance it exit means how is it going to
leave the slide and motion path would be
how it would move across the slide in
this case I'm going to say
entrance and then a really popular one
with a text is called fly in but any one
of these other ones would work as well
notice how when I pick on
Flyin the text kind of comes in one on
at a time now what you can do is change
that
you can change the direction from left
or right or top or bottom or any of the
other ones I kind of like it coming in
from the top it kind of drops in like
that and then we can change the speed
maybe I'll make it
fast
okay so all we're doing is we're adding
animation to our text box now let's go
ahead and run the slideshow over
here and notice how the text is not
coming in usually for these I like to
have it on manual mode so I'm going to
click on my mouse and notice how the
first line comes in I'm going to click
on the mouse and then the next line
comes in I'm clicking again so this way
you can add uh uh add your perfect
timing into the uh into the presentation
and bring these in as you want it to but
you can see it's a really great effect
now this slide doesn't have text
animation but I'm going to hit the up
Arrow key on my keyboard and let's go
back to this one
again I want to uh just click and just
watch the text drop right in there it's
a really nice effect it it's just adding
text animations so what you do is you're
going to click in your text box you say
animations custom animation on this
screen what I like to do is uh pick on
usually an entrance and you can try some
of those out but a lot of times people
use float or fly
in when you picked on fly in then we can
make it come from the top or the bottom
or make it go fast or very fast and
that's or the different speeds of course
and that's how you can add animation to
your text objects
