The Blues are back at The Bridge! On Sunday we welcome Leicester City to Stamford Bridge for the return of the Premier League after a week off, on Thursday we won 2-1 away in Copenhagen goals from Reece James and Enzo Fernandez ensured that we would be leading going into the second leg at Stamford Bridge next week!
What's up guys, it's Daniel here from Daniel Tekkers and today it's my predicted line-up for Chelsea vs Leicester City in the Premier League, so let's get into my line-up.
So in goal I see a start for Filip Jorgensen. I didn't think Rob Sanchez had a bad game against Copenhagen the other day but Jorgensen I think now is a fully fledged first team keeper now with Sanchez taking over in the Conference League.
At right back I see a start for Rhys James. He got a great goal against Copenhagen, I thought it was a really, really nice strike. With Gusto struggling with a knock at the moment, I see Rhys James keeping his place.
In centre back I see starts for both Tosin Adaribayo and Levi Colwell. It was good to see Ben Rabade's shield back from injury, Enzo Maresco gave him 45 minutes. Trevor Chalaba played out of position at right back on Thursday night.
At left back I see a start for Marco Correa. He came on in the game against Copenhagen after Gusto substituted after getting injured. He got the assist for the first goal. In the midfield I see starts for both Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandes.
Moises Caicedo played a half against Copenhagen, I think that might have been planned, while Enzo Fernandes replaced Caicedo in the second half and he got the all important second goal. It was a really well worked goal.
He came on at half time for Shimuheka who started for the first time in a Chelsea shirt. So let's get into the opposition side of things.
So our opponents, Leicester City, in their last game they lost 2-0 at West Ham. Thomas Suchek opened the scoring in the 21st minute, then just before half time Yannick Vestergaard scored at own goal which doubled West Ham's lead.
