Copenhagen 1-2 Chelsea ｜ HIGHLIGHTS ｜ UEFA Europa Conference League 24⧸25

Higgins game plan very clear, wait, block and defend and then look to spring on the counter. Palmer couldn't work that through for Dewsbury Hall, might be able to pick it back up here though. Palmer on the volley, why not? Oh he didn't miss by much did he? Well he's due a goal Cole Palmer, we know that, that was not the hit of a man short of confidence. No it was certainly on, it was a good effort. Here's Kukerea, Chelsea made four substitutions now already. James with a thumb ball, what a goal. Chelsea ahead less than a minute into the second half and Rhys James with a beauty to give the Blues the lead in front of the travelling supporters. Tremendous from the skipper, Copenhagen 0 Chelsea 1. And a decent ball that, flag stays down for now and Klaassen almost makes it 1-1. Incredible that he didn't really, came off the inside of the post and back into the grateful grasp of Robert Sanchez. Chelsea switched off for a second and were nearly punished. Here's Nkunku, now Tyreek George, Dewsbury Hall waiting for a cutback, came to Enzo Fernandez instead and he makes it 2-0 to Chelsea and gives the Blues a huge advantage as they look to progress to the quarterfinals. Enzo Maresco's halftime substitutions working to great effect there and Fernandez gives Chelsea some daylight. Decent shape on the free kick, free header 2-2-1 and they're backing it now. Gabriel Pereira with a bullet header beyond Robert Sanchez, not much the Chelsea goalkeeper could have done about that. It's the first goal of the season for the Brazilian and it's a big one for Copenhagen.
