Hello beautiful people and welcome back to Creating With Mimi.
Today I am bringing you guys yet another table scape, well a beautiful table scape arrangement
or situation and nobody asked but just because I'm bringing it.
I want to show you guys some tips and some tricks that you can use for your own decor
mainly how you can use black and white in the spring and summer time and it will not
be too heavy.
Also, I will be mixing metals today so I want to show you guys how you can mix metals and
get that designer look that you are looking for.

it is completely free.
I would love to have you.
Let's get started with this gorgeous table scape and if I hurry up I could probably do
but we'll see.
Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Alright my beautiful people let's kick things off with the white gorgeous charger and it
has a small beaded pattern around the perimeter of the charger.
I chose white instead of a silver or a black because I want to keep it bright, light and
airy.
All of them are not the same and I'll be honest with you guys I need some new chargers.
Next, I will place the this is a 10 inch diameter black plate and I will place that.
You guys know we talked about this I use paper towels as protectors on the plates as protectors
for the plate.
Already I am loving this black.
I did keep the runner the white runner in the center of the table.
Yes, I did decide to go with a black on black for the bowl that I'm placing on top.
I just think that black on black is gorgeous.
It is such a rich take.
In this video I did not add how I put together this arrangement with the white.
You may have seen it.
It may come out before or after this video.
Hopefully it comes out before.
I have bags and bags and bags of napkin holders and today I'm going to use this pearl napkin
holder for this place setting.
Just gorgeous.
Black and white table by itself.
It's just beautiful and I will do a cut away so that you guys can see the black and white
that I've got going on in the family room.
I wasn't sure if I was going to like the black and white as much as I do, but I'm taking
the napkin and the ring around it and then I will place it like so inside of the bowl
and just tuck it.
It almost looks as though I'm creating a bow tie with the napkin effect.
Just gorgeous.
I will pan around and give you guys a close up of what that looks like.
So your napkins normally come folded like so.
I'm taking it and I'm opening it up, making it three quarters of the way longer, about
a quarter longer and then I will fold it back up, three fold, take the bottom of this which
has the extra fold, slip it through the ring, just like so, gorgeous.
Place it in the plate and tuck in the other end.
But I'm tucking it in and creating a bow at the top, sort of like a puff sleeve.
This is what it looks like when it's finished.
It's just something that's so simplistic but it adds a little bit of texture and interest.
And by no means am I making these perfect, I'm just placing them inside of the bowl.
Decided to go with the silverware instead of the gold.
Now if this setup was really for guests, I would have a second napkin.
I can't stand for napkins to be placed on the table by itself, so if it was for a guest
I would have a second white napkin but this is just for purposes of making this video
and showing you guys some techniques and things that I would actually do.
So let's place a couple of candles, because candles always set the mood, on the table.
And we'll place them here in the center.
How am I mixing metals?
With this gorgeous candle holder that's black and it's gold.
I saw these and I will leave a link for you guys.
Let's just start with that.
Perfect.
It is coming together.
And we'll do this end here, love love love, love that.
Add white candles here, this goes here.
This is the best invention and it adds so much to a table scape and they are little
candle lights but they're rechargeable.
This color is black, I have them in black, I have them in gold, I will leave a link for
these beautiful things because look at this.
This is what it adds to the table, that's cool, that's warm, and that's bright, and
this is off.
I love what the bright light does.
Let's move this one about right here.
I'm going to even add more candle holders to this piece just to give it that, it's already
wild, this is gorgeous, but I'm going to put a little bit of icing on top of the cake.
Let's add a few more accessories like this gorgeous cup.
It is, I'm going to use it for adding another candle inside of it, but chow.
When I saw this, I picked it up.
I can't even stop turning it around, but it's beautiful.
It's solid wood that it has one gold brim and then a beaded gold brim.
I'm just going to place these throughout in a few areas.
These little voltive candles, you can pick these up anywhere, marshals, home goods.
I buy them by the case.
Just like that, I have created yet another gorgeous tablescape using what I already have,
white, black, for the springtime.
I can ride home and tell mother about this, yes, because this is scrumptious, it is gorgeous,
and I love it just because I am so excited to be able to create this.
I'm so blessed to be able to create this and create an environment in my home that
I truly love.
We are all so stressed out and so busy with everything outside of our homes, so if you
can get a chance to create your own utopia, go for it.
Every day, well, maybe not every day, but go for it when you guys have time.
This brings me so much joy, it is my center of peace, and I'm loving this with what's
going on over on this side of the room, simply gorgeous.
And no, I won't get to the second tablescape today because I've already given you guys
this arrangement.
I'm loving the black and white.
I might add a couple of other things to it off camera.
Anything that I have a link for, especially the lights, I will leave with you guys in
the description box.
I'll get you some images and I'll spin you around and give you guys a close-up of this
gorgeous, gorgeous space.
Until next time, make every single day a great day.
I was going to say your own utopia, but just make it a great day.
