Bruno Fernandes starts his stride, strikes it goalwards, bending, oh!
Piece of magic for Manchester United!
Oh, Alejandro Carnaccio has gone into a challenge with Thomas Partey, he's gone down, it's a
bouncing ball, it was there to win for both parties, excuse the pun, but it's Alejandro
Carnaccio that's come off slightly worse, oh dear. He was too, he was high, that's a booking,
that is a booking. I agree, seeing the replay, Ben Thornley's got it absolutely right. I thought
it was at the time, you could see that Carnaccio would reach the ball before him, Partey, when
you let the ball run blindly across you like that, you're always going to come up against
an opponent, I thought he was late, very late and very high. He's a little bit lucky,
Thomas Partey not to go in the book, free kick is taken by Christian Eriksen,
bent into the penalty area, Casemiro is almost there, is he being impeded by Declan Rice?
I don't think there's enough for Anthony Taylor to do anything other than let the ball
roll out of play and it's a goal kick to Arsenal. Well, he's the wrong side of him, Declan Rice,
that is for sure. You look at here, he's got his arm round him, okay, it probably would have been
a little bit soft, but you have to be so careful, don't you, in this day and age. Calafiore down the
left-hand side again, runs into Alejandro Carnaccio and Nus Mazraoui, well played, back to Declan Rice
who gets there ahead of Joshua Xerxe and then fires a brilliant pass up to the edge of the
penalty area, shot comes in, it's just wide, well what an opportunity that is for Leandro Trossard,
breaks away, edge of the penalty area, the pass forward from Gabriel just bisects the Manchester
United defence, that touch from Leandro Trossard sets it up perfectly onto his right foot,
not sure how he meant it, and then he drills the shot just wide of the mark. Yeah, he didn't wrap
his foot around it enough to put that curl on it. Fair play to Viktor Lindelof, considering how
little football he has had in recent weeks, he's actually done brilliantly well. Well, United have
won this back high on the field and Alejandro Carnaccio is brought down on the edge of the penalty area,
free kick United in a really dangerous spot, four minutes of added time shown by the fourth official
and the yellow card shown by Anthony Taylor. Yeah, it's a really good header from Mazraoui
and even though Trossard got to the ball first, Alejandro Carnaccio read it and took it off him.
Well, Bruno Fernandes has been crucial for Manchester United from these set pieces in
recent weeks, this would be, well, what a time to score for Manchester United, this could be
if Bruno Fernandes can conjure up some more magic. The Manchester United captain surveys,
points, gesticulates, brown eyes staring at David Rea's goal, Anthony Taylor
standing just behind him, Bruno takes four, five steps backwards, Anthony Taylor
directing the wall. Goal, said that against Everton. Bruno Fernandes starts his stride,
strikes it, goal, it's bending, oh, piece of magic for Manchester United, it's sensational
from United's Portuguese Magnifico, Manchester United lead just before half-time
and it is brilliant, brilliant, Bruno at it again for the Reds, United won, Arsenal nil.
Well, sometimes you don't get what you deserve in football and that's probably what Mikhail
Arteta and his Arsenal players are thinking, but when you've got somebody with the capabilities
and the brilliant execution of Bruno Fernandes, that is a wonderful free kick up and down and
over the wall, David Rea has had absolutely nothing to do for 46 minutes and now he's
going to pick the ball out of the net, it's a brilliant finish. That ball is moving all over
the place, the real joy of this is David Rea is set up on the opposite side of the goal,
thinking that his wall's going to be able to do the job, Bruno Fernandes just gets it up and down
and over the wall, David Rea is too far away to get anywhere near it. That's well won back by
Casemiro and he's found Alejandro Garnacho, who's away down the right-hand side, opportunity
may be coming for Manchester United here, infield it comes to Masraoui, gives it back to Garnacho,
pulls the cross back, it's brilliant, great football from Manchester United, can't be met
by anybody in the middle, but it's absolutely fantastic down the right-hand side for the Reds,
Ben. That's brilliant, it really is brilliant, I mean Garnacho, we said in the first half that
we need to get him on the ball more. Trossard gives this to Odegaard, Odegaard with the effort,
drills it over the top, I think it was covered off by Andre Anana all the way through.
Anthony Taylor thinks that Andre Anana has got a touch to that and has given the corner,
maybe Andre Anana has got the barest of fingertips to it.
Let's have a look at this wonderful free kick. The wall, according to the graphic that we've
just seen, was back a yard more than it needed to have been, but Bruno Fernandes would have
got it up and down over the wall that was a yard closer, to be fair. Zirkzee's done brilliantly,
turned around the corner, Diogo Delo, up to the edge of the penalty area,
stands the ball up to the back post, Mazraoui! Oh, what a save, it's absolutely unbelievable
from David Rea. Manchester United doing everything right, Mazraoui with a brilliant connection,
and somehow Rea has got a toe to turn it round the post. Well, this is what Joshua Zirkzee can
give you when he's concentrating on the ball and not wrestling with his man. I mean, I have to say
that is a phenomenal save from David Rea. Mazraoui's done everything right.
Job is not done for Manchester United, however. Oh, what a one-back by Nous Mazraoui and he's
driving forward in midfield, picks out Alejandro Garnacho on the right-hand side,
Old Trafford rises to its feet, Garnacho gets the cross in, Zirkzee! Oh, it's another brilliant save
from David Rea, it was a flip behind the legs from Joshua Zirkzee, looked for all the world
like he was going to nestle in the bottom corner, and somehow David Rea has got something on it.
He's really unlucky, he did everything that he could with the ball that he got,
and there's nothing wrong with it, but fair play to him. David Rea, referee hasn't stopped play
for that handball, in fact, I've just watched him answer Jürgen Timber and wave it away,
so it's been checked and cleared. Well, that's one thing out of the way, it's really good
defending from Aiden Heaven. Still a chance here for Arsenal, though, dead from Reiss,
fires home, ball pulled back to the edge of the 18-yard box, and Reiss, right-footed,
drills it into the left-hand corner, it's a great finish from Declan Reiss, Manchester United peg
back with 15 minutes to go, Arsenal have equalised, United 1 Arsenal 1. Well, I mean, it's difficult
to say that you couldn't see it coming, because after the really bright start that United had
with the chances he created at the start of the second half, they're still not getting anywhere
near close enough to Arsenal, and Ruben Amirim is now making his substitutions, but I felt as
though they should have come maybe 10 minutes ago. They are the substitutions that Ben called for as
well. Casemiro, who's had another good game for Manchester United actually, done everything that's
been asked of him. Yeah, no, he has, he has done really well, some of his little interceptions
have been superb. Thought he was excellent in the game against Leicester, thought he was excellent
in the game in midweek against Real Sociedad, turned over, Rasmus Hoyland in the penalty area, goes down,
ball is stolen away. Declan Reiss far too casual, he just gets a toe in there,
I mean, he needs far too long to set himself, he's just got to hit it.
Ball is with Noos Mazraoui, he lifts it forward to Rasmus Hoyland, Hoyland gives it on to Garnaccio,
Garnaccio is going to try and run this down the right-hand side, he's taking on Gabriel,
going to try and get to the byline, going to try and get it into the penalty area,
Mazraoui picks it up, gets the cross away, chances for Bruno Fernandes, oh, it's been saved,
going to be sent home, no, it's a brilliant save again from David Rea, comes to Arsenal's rescue
for the fourth time in this game, Manchester United should be in front, they are not in front
because of a magical, magical stop from David Rea. I mean, I don't know how he did it, I mean,
brilliant from Garnaccio. Martinelli stands it up inside the penalty area, met at the back post,
still not cleared by Manchester United, loose inside the penalty area, turn, shot, it's blocked
away, full-time whistle goes and Manchester United have taken a point away from this game and they
deserve so much more full-time, Manchester United have drawn this game against Arsenal,
Manchester United 1, Arsenal 1.
