Atención propietarios del Condado de LA afectados por los incendios forestales. Vamos a hablar de la remoción de escombros y los próximos pasos en ese proceso.
Attention Los Angeles County homeowners
affected by the recent
wildfires, we're going to talk about
debris removal and the next
steps in that process now that the
hazardous materials have been removed
by the EPA. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
is
removing debris. You must
submit a right of
entry form to participate. Here's what you
need to do. Present your
ROE form by visiting Recovery LA County Gov or
in person at a Disaster Recovery Center
at 540 W. Woodberry Road,
Altadina or
10850 Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles.
Los Angeles County will review your
form. Verify the property.
Once your form is approved, it will be sent to the
Army Corps of Engineers. The Army
Corps of Engineers will assess your
property and categorize the work
needed based on its condition. If it's
destroyed, partially damaged,
or requires specific actions,
a site visit will be scheduled with you
or a designated contact. During this
visit, contractors will inspect for
hazards like asbestos and
determine if
additional work is needed. The next step
is to remove debris like
furniture, personal effects,
appliances, and other
hazardous materials. Once finished the Corps will
conduct a
final inspection to ensure
everything meets all
safety standards. When the process is complete
your property is returned to
Los Angeles County and then back
to you marking the end of
debris removal. Don't forget the
deadline to file your Ros form
is March 31, 2025. Don't wait, file
your form
today and
