5 ice skating beginner mistakes and how to avoid them.
Number 1.
Wrong skates.
No matter if rentals or your own skates, they have to fit you properly.
Not too tight because this will give you uncomfortable pressure and will disturb your blood circulation
what causes even more problems.
Too wide is also not good because the skates will not just lean inwards but will also give
you less stability and support and the worst thing is they will rub with every move because
you have space in your skates and this will cause big and painful blisters.
Take your time to find the perfect size and fit for you.
A tutorial about finding the perfect skate for you is linked below.
Number 2.
Pants in skates and more layers of socks.
It's an absolute pain in the ass to see people doing this.
Why?
Because pants in skates are just uncomfortable and disturb your blood circulation.
Two pairs of socks sound more comfortable but they will cause blisters and drastically
decrease the amount of control that you have with the skates.
Wear one layer of socks and keep the pants outside of the skates.
Trust me, that's how it's done.
Number 3.
Wearing backpacks.
They are not just blocking your agility, they can be really dangerous.
If you wear a backpack then your body focus will be higher and further back.
The possibility that you will fall, especially backwards, is higher with a backpack.
And just imagine what will happen if you fall backwards.
Trust me, you can't stop this and you definitely don't want this.
And I really hope I can't stop you from subscribing to my channel if you don't want to miss many

Number 4.
Wrong clothes.
Don't wear skiing clothes, don't wear tight jeans, don't wear anything that blocks your
mobility.
My recommendation, skiing or skating socks, at least long and comfortable socks, sweatpants,
a hoodie, that's it.
Maybe a comfortable jacket but not a coat.
And one thing is for sure, no ice rink is as cold as some of you beginners with your
skiing pants, skiing jacket or winter coats expect it to be.
