Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets Full Game Highlights - March 19, 2025 | NBA Regular Season

But this one from a tiebreaker standpoint, Denver's 1-2-3 and who knows if these two teams finish Tied at the end of the regular season could make the difference between being a much higher seed and perhaps home-court advantage No doubt and he's the prototypical kind of center Luca had in Dallas He loves the athletic rim runner to freeze that backline defender The Dodgers shot clock at 5 Watson guarding Dodgers Dodgers looking Watson trying to stay with him scoop like if it's good Already two terrific buckets for Luka Dodgic It's been a struggle so far our defensive lead to stop this man. Dodger steps back Cooking early and it's a 14-2 lead Jokic also dealing with an ankle injury, but also has an elbow injury as well when I spoke to head coach Michael Malone I asked him about their timeline. He says they tried to warm up for this game They went through their processes, but the team did not feel so less than four minutes into the game Dodgic Already with 11 points his Laker high in the first 15 He had a 45 point game already nice bounce pass inside Westbrook first with a three that was a gorgeous look Over to Smith your turn. Then he Smith. Okay. Get the go Then he Smith's looking a good one. Like that's your shot Mike. I could tell you one thing I never would have handed the ball off if I was in the position Jordan good Dead last in the NBA fourth quarter defense. It's in the top ten Dodgic fires away 14 points in the first six minutes He's not a kid anymore. He's still doing that look like he was on a trampoline in there I don't know where he got the leverage to get that high Get some leverage Westbrook trying to get it in there to Gordon ball deflected Dodgic able to save it. Here comes Gabe Vincent Watson who defended Steph Curry so well Dodgic Still one of the few guys that uses the bank shot frequently particularly from that left side. That was a difficult angle Vincent swings it connect does Finney Smith catches fires at him Jalen Pickett also in the game now for Denver Christian Coloco getting some early minutes for the Lakers connect his first shot and That's nine three-pointers in the first quarter, but it starts here and there's some activity there Nice job by picket sinking down and reading that drop-off pass Spencer Jones tries to reverse count it down a foul Impressive move by the rookie. It's the little things right now that they had a rebound taken out of their hand that led to three points That's a steal Michael Porter should have that still ends up in two points for the Lakers Jones does a good job keeping it alive and picket gets the soft bounce All right, George Watson a really talented young defender another turnover Vanderbilt's gonna have an easy one down the other end the turnover starting to hurt as well, that's seven John Charles deflected stolen by Vanderbilt nice feet inside and Reeves able to score Let's just read second field goal from Westbrook lost the handle, but it goes right to Porter and Porter banks it in and Got to be up on your toes right now and to take away this this Comfortability that the Lakers are feeling and there's another one just right down the lane Lakers without LeBron James not just throws it up. Well defended that time Porter took it away from Hayes Here's Watson gets inside backs it in Dodgidge has Gordon on him now Gabe Vincent gets back to the corner gets a good clean looking nails the three-pointer He has seen it all in Laker land off the turnover just makes the game better for the fans here as Westbrook is down And scores the bucket chance for a three-point play Got a 28-point lead to 20 under three to play in the second connect is just wide open can't Hit on that one and Gordon With his six three that alley-oop to Brown. There's the athleticism of Christian Brown beautiful setup Reeves looking for an opening floats it up inside nice pass and Vanderbilt once again the beneficiary. He's got eight points His size and his savvy make him just it's just impossible Westbrook nice feet inside Porter and the Lakers who were playing some good defense earlier a little bit laps there About a two and a half second difference shot clock eight clock deflected by Porter Watson comes up with it Watson drives goes inside all the way and throws it down with a right hand Peyton watch 18 points now for Gordon You know, he's got the IQ for it. And then he also has a component That's so important for teams defensively as Eric Gordon just continues to shoot the basketball in that corner three It's such a weapon to have as your point guard the guy that can regularly get eight to ten defensive boards a game Benny Smith back up Dodgidge. She gets a good clean. Look doesn't get many of them rattles that one in That's his fourth three-pointer, you know at the end of the first half. They started hitting Luka with blitzes right over half-court They haven't done it to start the third quarter and Luca is loose again Gordon Gordon keeps it up just continues his amazing three-point shooting now nine rebounds for Gordon to go with 24 points another just terrific game Reeves on a steal took it away from Porter Reeves goes in and lays it up an end I like to see that award given to a player who's more of a role player who takes that next big step completely agree The Jackson Hays Gordon with a double-double now 24 and 10 Now drives inside on the slam Aaron Gordon with authority minutes back to 15 He's a double figures 11 points 9 assists Reeves dribbles it off his foot, but saves it Reeves long three And then Austin Reeves follows that up with just a hard drive to the middle boy Brown way off that time Reeves comes out of the pack Reeves goes hard goes right into Brown well-defended, but Finney Smith there to clean it up. He only knows one speed He only knows one level of intensity Reeves very fancy throws it up So razzle-dazzle from Austin Reeves for his seventh assist Dodgett's Finney Smith, that's what he was talking about early. He's just so open Vincent nobody even close to him and cave fiction one of the elite road home teams in the NBA. They've won eight straight here Rave some fancy footwork there He's been lurking beneath the surface all year and now starting to really be impressive Minnesota had a bad loss tonight, but they've looked they've all those teams Golden State the same thing They've all at times made you think you know what? John Charles to pick it And there's Jones Jones plays with a with a force Picket gets inside the former Nittany line gets it out the Jones and Jones way off on the three But look at the hustle that he is gets his rebound goes right back up and shot. It's good But he has handled it so beautifully His preparation has the respect of all the players as pickets lines up rattles that went in and he was Tyson can't get that to go haul the rebound back up and in Meanwhile Michael Malone's up and he is coaching these this group out there right now coaching them hard trying to spur them on connect With the bucket to put it back up to 16th, let's bring in the subsequent tiebreaker, which is division leader now for Denver that's impossible because John char comes up Paul fires away and backs it in That'll do it a wire to wire win for the Lakers led by as many as 30 They've won nine straight at home 16 and 1 in their last 17 here at crypto dot-com arena And tomorrow we'll play the game
