Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel. If you're new here, my name is Yesenia
and I'm a luxury travel advisor specializing in group trips. I'm very excited to share with you
all this resort review. It's been a minute since I was out of the country, so I'm very excited to
hop back into my routine and share with you all my experience at the Morgan Resort and Spa that's
located in St. Martin. So if you are, you know, traveling to St. Martin soon and you're looking
for a place to stay, or if this particular resort is on your radar, make sure to watch
this entire review so you can get a better idea of what to expect. When you first arrive at the
Morgan, this is what it looks like. A very nice, simple driveway. If I had to describe the decor,
I would say it's very minimal, sleek, modern, lots of like Caribbean colors, so like the blues,
the neutrals. I really, really love the decor. This is the view from inside the lobby looking out.
It is a gated hotel, which we love that security, and overall just really nice, very well kept.
At night, this is the view we were walking back to the hotel. Now, we stayed at the Morgan from
January 31st to February 4th, and we were all staying at in the Queen Double Ocean View Room.
So here you can see the bathroom. They have separated the toilet from the rest of the bathroom
and a very beautiful like mirror, good lighting to do your makeup. The shower was really nice. The
water pressure was good. The rest of the room, I would say it wasn't the biggest, so there were
three people in the room, and it was already a snug fit, so I imagine four people would be even a
little tighter. There were queen-size beds, and they were a little hard. Like the mattress was
definitely more on the firm side, but not super uncomfortable. However, you know, it was a standard
room. Everything was clean. You have to make sure that you put, that you want housekeeping because
they will not come and do it. So this is the view from our hotel balcony. As you can see, it is
ocean view. We had a really good location, and we were very happy with the room, and yeah, I would
recommend it. As I mentioned prior, I am a full service travel advisor, which means that I can
take care of planning your whole trip for you from the initial research all the way to booking
your flights, your hotels, your excursions. If you are someone who doesn't like to do too much
planning, if you want to just lay back and have all the details planned for you, my services would
be perfect. I do specialize in group trips, so things like bachelor and bachelorette trips,
things like family reunions, or just front groups that like to travel together, I can take care of
that because it is a lot of moving components to manage. So feel free to use my services, but also
if you just want to do a solo trip or a trip with your significant other, I can also help plan that
too. If you want to find out more information about my booking process, you can feel free to
visit my website, which I'll put right here below. You can follow me on Instagram, or if you have any
questions, feel free to type them in the comments below. One of the most important things to know
is that the Morgan is not all inclusive. That means that you have to pay a la carte for every
meal that you enjoy at the hotel. They do have a restaurant in the hotel called Salt,
and we visited the restaurant two times during our stay. The first time we did breakfast,
we got like omelets, potatoes, mimosas, and it was really good, you know, standard breakfast.
I enjoyed it. Here, you're looking at the menu for the dinner. So the prices were regular to me. I
didn't think it was too cheap. I didn't think it was too expensive. I thought it was right at the
middle and what I expected. The quality of the food, I did not expect. This was really good.
We got a seafood pasta. I can't remember what this dish was, but I got the churrasco with rice,
and oh my goodness, it was wonderful. I really enjoyed the restaurant.
The hotel grounds are kept really nicely. The pool is very beautiful. It's kind of like a
beach-inspired pool, and the water was cold, but it felt really good. One of the things that we
did is that we rented a cabana. So because it was a group of six of us, we decided to just do that,
and the only thing is that you need to spend at least $400 on food and drinks while you
rent the cabana, which was easy for us to do. I really enjoyed that they have their own speakers.
They did have a DJ by the pool, but you know, you can play your own music. You can lay out.
It was definitely a vibe. There's a swim-up bar in the pool, and there's a little barbecue shack
that's open limited hours that you can order from when you rent a cabana. Two things that I want to
plug about the pool, the barbecue shack slash restaurant that I mentioned, it's open very
limited hours. I believe it's from like noon to 3 p.m. I am not entirely sure if anyone in the hotel
can order from the shack or if it's just people that are renting the cabanas. I want to say it's
everyone, but it's worth it to ask, and the second thing I want to plug is the piña coladas.
Please, please, please, if you end up visiting the Morgan, definitely get the piña coladas
from the swim-up bar. They were so good. The guys there were making it amazing, so definitely worth
it to try. Now behind the cabanas, there's like this really beautiful greenery area where you can
play sports and games, but you also get a nice view of the planes as they're landing in the
airport. So Maho Beach is right behind the hotel, so we got really cool videos. And here you have
the gym, pretty standard, tons of weights, tons of machines, so you can definitely get a good workout
after eating good food. So who is this hotel for? I personally think from my experience that this
hotel is perfect for couples that are looking for rest and relaxation or for groups that know that
they plan on exploring St. Martin a lot. So if you are someone who, for example, likes to stay in the
hotel the whole time, I wouldn't recommend the Morgan because since it's not all-inclusive,
you can expect your expenses to rack up. So that's why I say that it's perfect for people that are
going to do a lot of excursions, that want to eat outside of the hotel, so that that way you really
get immersed in the St. Martin culture without being, you know, limited to just what's in the
resort because you want to get your money's worth. So definitely if you are a couple that just wants
to do massages, chill by the pool, relax, you should definitely go to the Morgan. And if you
are a group of friends that are just celebrating and really want to live the St. Martin life,
then I also recommend the Morgan because it's the perfect kind of just like sleep, eat breakfast,
go out type of resort. It's a reminder again that I can take care of planning your trip to
St. Martin and anywhere else in the world. If you want to learn more about my booking process,
you can visit my website, follow me on Instagram, or pop a comment below and I'll be more than happy
to get back to you. I want to thank you so much for watching this video and stay tuned for my
next one, which is coming real soon.
