Neighbors concerned over vicious pack of dogs on the loose

a Philadelphia neighborhood is living in fear tonight because of a pack of vicious dogs that are roaming the area the dogs already killed a cat we're told and residents are afraid they could be targeted next action News reporter John Paul live for us now in Wyoming and John you spoke with a woman who says she's hesitant to even leave her house yeah I mean she's worried because these dogs are still out there some neighbors say they saw them uh today and this is a pretty active neighborhood we've seen people all over i mean there's kids there are families there's actually a school just about a block that way so knowing that there's this pack of dogs out here has neighbors worried that they could attack again like I'm scared to leave my house because they were just circling it all night tara Ginosza feels almost trapped in her home in Wanomi after witnessing a vicious attack on Monday night she shared this video of the incident and you see three dogs on the sidewalk then they run up a neighbor's porch chasing a cat we've had to freeze the video here because it's too graphic and the dogs were like jumping all over the porch and they just like just ripped this poor animal to shreds the cat was killed and Terra decided to warn her neighbors she posted about the attack online and soon she heard from others in Wanoming and Tone who saw that same pack of dogs roaming the area people walk all the time this is a beautiful neighborhood people jog all the time out here so it's not good to have wild dogs out here there is concern that these animals could strike again and possibly target a person genoza says she's called the police but no one responded today animal Care and Control was out checking the neighborhood for those dogs they tell me they're doing what they can to try to get them off the streets gosa hopes they're caught so she can feel safe in her neighborhood once again have no idea where they came from but they're still running around and I don't know why they haven't been caught yet now Rick I was talking to ACT Philly today they're asking anyone who sees these dogs or might know who the owners are to give them a call so they can try to get them off the streets we're live tonight with John Paul Channel 6 Action News rick all right John thank you for that report
