Giant Snapper and a Surprise Catch - Destin Offshore Kayak Fishing

We are on our way to Dune Island Beach. We're gonna launch and head out to some of the reefs out there. Got Darren and Clay with me today. They've never fished off the kayak out off a reef before, so it'll be a first time experience for them. So hopefully we can put them on some big fish. We're gonna troll all the way out, hopefully troll some live cigar minnows, get a couple of kings. We've got a big shark trip coming up, so we're really trying to catch some bait for that so we can have some fresh bait. So we're gonna get unloaded, get to the beach, get out on the water, and we'll get back with ya. All right, we're here at Choctahatchee Bay. We're checking our pinfish trap. We're going out into the gulf today. Hopefully we got a lot of bait. We just put it out last night, so careful on those slick rocks. Oh yeah, we got bait. Nice crab. Okay, all right, we got a few good baits. Got crab, got a bunch of different sized pinfish. On to the gulf. Okay, we're loading up, getting ready to do a drag, and it's not gonna be a roll because I can't find my beach tires. So we get to drag all the way down there instead of rolling our kayaks. So that should be fun. Oh, I had one. I got my fish bites down there sitting, and I'm dropping a cigar right now. Oh yeah. Yep, red snapper. Does he realize he's drifting real fast? All right, red snapper. Not bad. Oh, there he goes. Couple weeks, be able to keep those. Yeah, I'm gonna change out to heavier so I sink better. God dang, this wind is killing me, man. Yeah, got him. Yeah, oh yeah, he's fighting. God dang it. Damn, what a cluster, you idiot. Why'd you do that? Damn. Jeez. There was a remora there. Was that? Yeah, that's a remora. God, dog. He ate the fish bites. What a cluster. Jeez. Try those fish bites, guys. That's why I caught this big one on. No, can't keep the red snapper today. If he hadn't done you any good yet. Yeah, there we go. There we go. Yeah. Trigger. Oh, wow. Oh my God. Okay. Oh my God. Can you get him in the boat? You guys, a monster flounder. Dolphins are here. Dolphins just came up right there. Yeah, I thought it was a trigger cause it was gray. Trying to get us some more bait. Yep. Oh, okay. I was like, do I have something? Oh God. He almost pulled me over. Jeez. Oh my God. Holy crap. Oh my God. Come on. Wow. Go down, go down. There we go. Come on. Wonder if I need to shoot him down. Nope, there he goes.
