Surf Fishing Destin with Fishbites and Live Bait

Putting out one pompano rig with some fish bites on it. The other two rods we're going to put out cut bluefish. Hopefully either get some bull reds or some sharks. Hopefully anything big. Something big. That's what I'm going for today. A little windy. Water's a little noisy. So I hope you can hear me okay. And with it being that rocky, we are going to use a Sputnik weight. Get this out and then we'll get the heavy pole set up. There. That's in the first gut there. Pretty good spot. All right. Long already casting this first gut. Probably getting a whiting bite. I'd love to catch a live whiting. Put on one of these shark rods. All right, here we go. Now we got something. I think it's a whiting or a catfish. So I'm going to put out another whiting for a shark. So what we're going to do, we're going to get them on the hook, get everything ready to go, and then cut the back third of them off. So we get fresh blood in the water for the shark. And we're going to cut them right there just like that. And now we're going to walk them out. We're on baby! All right, we're hooked up. Good thing I didn't have the drone in the air. Got it. Not a bad little one. God dang it, he slapped me again. Son of a... There you go. Oh, there. There you go. Good job. Stop it. Stop it. You ready? Well, it wasn't a real exciting morning, but at least we didn't get skunked. We caught quite a few whiting and that one black tip shark.
