Sanibel Island Kayak Fishing - My Craziest Catch Ever

All right we're back at Bowman's Bayou here in Sanibel. I fished it a couple years ago. Caught snook, redfish, trout, sheep's head. Caught a lot of a lot of species so hopefully we have the same kind of day today. Conditions are a little different though. We got 15 mile an hour winds out of the south so we're going to be looking for places to kind of shelter from the wind and be able to get some fishing done. So let's get on the water. Got something yeah ah baby snook. Well at least I'm not not skunked. All right All right another little baby snook. All right I prefer something a little bigger. Got him. What do I got? Oh yeah okay you're getting cold buddy. All right got us a lady fish on. Getting a good size tarp in the back here. Oh got a big fish. I got a big fish again. Oh is that a snook? Finally get a good snook. I'm in my kayak. Oh it's another redfish. Oh let me haul her back at you. Gotta love redfish on the artificials. Yes Got him. Nice Not getting snook but I'm getting some nice reds. Oh really Huh Oh oh yeah you did it again bud. Yep I got another good one. Let's see what this is. Oh I don't know what it's not kind of. No I'm talking through it. Oh god oh boy you hear him ripping drag. Oh my gosh it's another good red. For those yeah for those of you that don't know I'm uh on the phone with the uh famous Tony Duran. Legend with the fire department and Collinsville sports program. Get in the net. Dude this is the biggest one I've caught today. Second fish I've caught while I'm on the phone with Tony Duran. Wow oh damn he just nope he's in my net but he popped the hook out while he was in the net. Man another big one. All right let me get him released. I'll call you back. Gotta love it when your buddies bring you good luck. He will not let me grab him. Come on all right. Let him go. Here he goes. So you gotta be kidding me. I jerk it out of the tree and it runs down and hits the water and I hook a freaking fish. Oh it's a nice sheepshead. Wow what are the freaking odds of that. Oh yeah got another red sitting on the oysters. Another good red I think. Looks like one. Oh yes another good one. Man got another one. Another nice. Gotcha. Nice. Hear them drumming. All right let's go. Oh ah yeah what the heck's that? Geez that's just a redfish. It's just a nasty red. Wow! You... Spice... Jeez! Wow! Ow! Nice! Dog it! Stop it! Alright. Nice! Little paddle tail's doing the job! Nice! He missed it. Twice. And came back for it.
