Destin Offshore Kayak Fishing - Live Bait on the Reef. This trip was to some nearshore reefs off of the small town of Santa Rosa Beach near Destin. It was during the special November snapper season in 2019. I met a great guy named gary that morning at the beach and since he was kind enough to let me follow him out to the reef what was gonna be trolling for Kings turned into an epic Red Snapper trip! We used strictly cigar minnows and blue runners to haul in a mess of red snapper off of the reef. Live bait fishing on the reef was a blast. I hope you enjoy the video. Tight lines everybody!

I just ran into mark and Gary met them
here at the beach super nice guys they
said that I can follow them out to the
reef how awesome was that meet some of
the nicest people kayak fishing

you think I'd get used to how hard to
hit and not think it's a monster every
time but I thought that one was gonna be
huge got him yep dang it I don't know I
didn't feel anything I was just pulling
them and he came golly
well that's two for two hookups on the
hooking them in the middle this was
better oh that was huge for real this
time
