Destin Harbor Kayak Fishing - Lots of Fish but Few Fishermen. I got an invite from Joseph Rizzo to kayak fish the Destin Harbor with him. He said they have been catching lots of Jack's and Big Bluefish, My bait freezer was just about empty of shark bait so I couldn't turn down an offer like that. A friend of his had caught a 37" Bluefish in the previous couple of days there so the hunt was on for some big Bluefish. I found it curious that there are so many fish in the harbor but hardly anyone seems to fish it. So I hope you watch Joe and I get into some big fish. so when I arrived at the harbour to meet
Joseph Rizzo winds were blowing about
20-25 miles out of the Northeast I
wasn't even sure if we were gonna be
able to fish or not
Rizzo assured me it was fishable so we
just got after that's awesome
we've gone all the way to the back of
the harbor and we're working our way
back towards the front
when Rizzo hook down are you kidding me
oh my god wow that looks like at least
four or five pounds Wow
this is either jack or pompano
oh there's a big school of them Jack's
yep yeah that's some good little
sharkbait dude I saw like four swimming
around them oh man come on really
he ate
nice hooked up again
back where I caught mine heck yeah
I'll pay there
oh yeah wow this one's a little stem he
did say just 30 feet yeah oh yeah yeah
he didn't won't come in all that was you
yeah always foul hooked that's why so
hard to get in out freakin pin me off my
hat
we've gone quite a while without a bite
when this happened I was just trolling
that bomber stick bait behind oh man I
got some good yeah big

biggest one I've caught on think that's
over 20 isn't it

want to take a moment think Rizzo for
taking you with them

hello we had great time fishing in the
harbour caught between the two of us
Joseph and I caught five jacks big blue
fish and a huge pompano and the dogs so
that was pretty cool but the blue was
twenty three inches and I kept all the
Jack so plenty of shark bait to run out
