A Little Extra Hustle: Cards on the Table | The Hustle

[Music] what's up you guys we're back and we have all the supplies and tools necessary to make one of Anna's beautiful cards how do we get started with your cards first thing we're going to do is cut the base so this is a regular 8 1/2 by 11 piece of card stock line it up there line it up at the very end great and then you're going to score it at 4 and A4 wait did I do this wrong is it 4 or 4 and 1/2 it's 4 and a/4 oh I messed up already try again try folding it great so the next step to making this card is going to be coloring I'm going to make the prettiest card you guys while I'm coloring this break down the numbers of your business form so an average card costs me about $2.50 and that split between the materials Etsy fees business card and then the shipping fee because all of my cards I do free shipping on how do you think I'm doing so far it looks really good the only thing I would do differently here is try to get all the way to the flower first of all I mean come on looks really good look at that yeah that's pretty good mhm all right what's the next stuff here kind of line it up here and see if there's any cutting you need to do I kind of like how it frays though that's part of the beauty of the recycled paper is that it looks very handmade and that you get those kind of edges that aren't exactly perfect okay I think I think I'm ready for for the next step here the next step is to glue it onto the piece of paper just try to be pretty steady getting a lot on the corners the things they teach you in PR school about gluing and cutting kind of applies here as well taking it back to the basics good just line it up here yes maybe down a little bit here [Music] yeah how do you think I did I give it an eight out of 10 an eight okay you did a little there the only thing is the edges I like it but I think if I gave this to my girlfriend or somebody she'd probably break up with me so I think I'll stick to buying your cards on Etsy for now at least until I get better at this thanks so much for watching the hustle to make sure you don't miss out on any more videos like this please subscribe at prageru.com today
