Andrew Yang Gives $1000 a Month

Andrew always talks about his autistic kid and his wife is taken care of and that is no value really in today's GDP. Same when I was taking care of her for two years. I lost work. I was off work a lot and it provided no value to the system at all. So it definitely would have came in handy a couple of years ago. So the Iowa Freedom Dividend is a thousand dollars to a person or family in Iowa once a month every month for the next calendar year and it's coming out of my pocket directly because that's the most straightforward way to make this happen and so we're about to go inside and let Kyle and Pam know that they're receiving the Freedom Dividend. Kyle's taking care of a sick mom. It's a tremendous story. I'm super excited to meet them and to give them some money because isn't that what it's all about? Maybe. So we need to do this for people all over the country but starting here with you all to illustrate the fact that if people get some extra money into their hands it's just going to go to the things that we care about and value. Our current system right now is so punitive and dehumanizing where essentially as soon as like you're not able to function in like that market role where you can show up and be hyper-functional then your value like goes to zero. So really Kyle thank you for believing in us and and also believing you know like good things can happen if you reach out like that that we can make it real. I think that this is actually the single biggest obstacle for the Freedom Dividend nationwide is that most people look up and say like that's impossible that's too good to be true like that will never happen and what they don't realize is that it's up to us whether it happens. If enough of us get together and say we live in the richest most advanced country in the history of the world I can easily afford a thousand dollar dividend for everyone like we can make it happen like that. And you know your optimism believing that this is possible is actually exactly what we need around the country so everyone gets their heads up and right now 78 percent of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck where let's just say something you said it's like the paycheck comes in and it's all spoken for like you know people can't afford an unexpected bill and so it's very hard to get people to think like oh maybe there's something else possible because we're all in survival mode we're all just in stressed out survival mode. It's greatly greatly appreciated. Really I appreciate you guys and I'm looking forward to going on this journey with you both. Thank you guys so much you guys are awesome. No problem.
