What up, what up? Will here with the Baseball Bat Bros, and today folks, we are live from one of
the most beautiful ballparks in America, Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. And today's
challenge, you're going to see this little brick building, one of the most iconic buildings in all
of baseball. It is actually the oldest building, the oldest structure at any MLB ballpark in
America. So the Western Metal Supply Co building, only two Padres ever have hit a home run on top
of that building. And he drills that one to left field, that may be up on the top of Western Metal, it is!
By all the way to the roof! And he hits a high drive to deep left field, down towards the pole,
that ball is up and it is gone, on top of the Western Metal Supply Company building.
Tatis hit an absolute tank, Hunter Renfro did it twice, and today we are going to see off of
moderate 60 mile an hour BP, if the Bat Bros can hit a ball on top of the Western Metal Supply
Co building, starting with a wood bat. This thing's pretty sweet, so Mr. Padre himself, this is a bat
built to the exact specifications of Tony Gwynn. I don't think I'll be able to do it with this, but
we got some juice bats in the back here, let's get it. Dude, that's all I got!
Our first challenge, can we hit a ball on top of the Western Metal Supply Co building
with the wood bat? Let's go. Probably not. Gosh, that was loud. All right, oh my gosh!
105 390? It needs to be like, I gotta get it inside inside.
Bro, this thing sounds like a freaking bazooka. Dude, it feels like, I'm feeling kind of locked.
Oh, that's, that's teased, I don't know. Oh, hit the golf ball! We have about 40 feet to go,
so that structure out there is 70 feet tall, I believe. If you look down the left field line,
the building is actually the foul pole. Nah, I need to pull it even more than that.
That's soft, that is not going to play. Hey, I love Tony Gwynn's bat though.
He should have really tried to hit more homers. And Gwynn goes the other way to the gap. Daryl
helps this one leave. I'm not used to going that far dead pole. Oh, that's a good idea, good idea.
We hit bricks. Barrel it, though. Dude, you went like, how did they do that? You have to
hit it so perfect. Dude, that's, that's all I got. Come on! Dude, I'll take that all day.
Okay, we are in the second deck with a wood bat. I absolutely ate that ball. Already kind of
showing the grains there. So, surprise surprise, I can't do it with a wood bat, but we brought
reinforcements. Here we have the early 1990s C-Core alloy barrel lined with the composite interior.
You've seen it once before. We need about 40 feet higher here. That sounds more like it.
That's short, that's short. Third deck. Third deck. I got that pretty well too. How did they
freaking do that? That is, that is so, they did that off a real pitcher? That is insane.
Okay, that's, we're getting there. Hit it hard. Jeez, 115.5 right there. Good piece. Ouch.
Oh my gosh. Dang it, I pulled it.
Gosh, that was it. That was close, but we're gonna go up to the next level here. The 2007
Easton Stealth Comp. The orange Stealth got all the love, but this is the same thing.
This is just the regular flex version. In my opinion, this one's even better. So,
this thing's gonna sound stupid. High golf. Good hit. That's upper deck for sure.
451.1094. That was tight. Hey, that's an encouraging sign. I just need to not hit
it to freaking center field. No, I hooked it. Oh, we're so close. Too low.
117.3. I really don't want to do it with the drop five. I think I could do it with the drop five,
Dude, that took perfect, perfect to get it over by an inch.
We got to do at least one good swing with the drop five, but we did it. I cannot believe they
did that in game with the wood bat. Dude, I couldn't have gotten more with that ball. That's
crazy. All right, if you're a baseball purist, probably stop watching right about now. It is
definitely an abomination to swing a hype fire at a big league stadium, but I feel like it would
be an injustice to the viewers if we didn't give it a shot. Drop five, hype fire. We're going to
see if we can hit it even farther. I mean, I flushed that ball, so okay. Let's go. This is
stupid, bro. Dude, I keep thinking it's going to hit the jumbotron, but I think that's a little
farther than I think. That's up there. That has to be, right? That's up there. That has to be,
right? Oh my god. All right. I feel like that's a crime to even do that, but it's a good bat. I'm
going to try one more swing with the wood bat. I think I'm just dreaming that I could maybe do it,
but let's barrel one more ball. If I do this, you guys have to have your whole family subscribe.
I don't think I'm going to.
That's crazy. Oh, cool replay. That's insane. All right.
In a game, I'd get carved, but good thing it's a pitching machine. It is possible. It's not
possible with a wood bat. It's possible with a metal bat. Mad props to Hunter Renfro and Fernando
Junior. That is very far away.
