Is Capitalism Moral? | Man on the Street

what's up guys Aldo here with prageru today we're in Denver Colorado and we're going to be asking people is capitalism moral let's go find out is capitalism moral I have no idea I mean sure no you guys are like frozen up it's just easy you know we're just talking here you really know anything about capitalism do you guys think capitalism is moral I don't understand what capitalism is used like used for I feel like capitalism causes a lot of greed I don't know what system would be better but something that is more People based where people are just more willing to help others rather than looking to make the biggest profit it's unfair to the people that are unfortunate that don't have all the Privileges them because the privilege also is is capitalism what would be a better system I don't know yet is capitalism moral um I hope so if it's done right what do you mean by that uh if it's not too rapacious and you know if the workers who create the value are not abused and paid a fair wage how do you think we're doing right now oh probably pretty poorly is capitalism moral I believe it is it gives people a chance to succeed where communism doesn't everything is handed to folks uh there's no incentive to uh to do anything what do you guys do for work I work at Starbucks working you sign a contract they'll give you x amount of dollars for x amount of work and you agree to it is that working out sure that's capitalism it's working out for me it is moral but it can be abused there can be an evil side to it is that a function of capitalism or Humanity well I guess it would be both maybe just human nature in general that definitely doesn't mean it's the best system if you look at other systems like socialism and communism over 100 million people have died to these systems capitalism is the one system where people can come from poverty and become rich damn that's crazy there's pros and cons to capitalism I think there's more there's pros and cons to every system but I think capitalism really does let you if you if you want to put in the work you can make your money what do you say to people that look around and they see homelessness they see poverty and they blame capitalism I think they're misguided you know what they say you know capitalism it's unequal amounts of uh wealth communism and socialism is equal amounts of poverty yes exactly couldn't agree more is there a system that you guys would rather live under communism or socialism no no stick with capitalism me too I think so too everybody has a problem with capitalism until you offer an alternative like communism and socialism then capitalism starts sounding a lot better are there other systems that you think would work better than capitalism in America no no no we need to perfect what we got has capitalism worked for you capitalism has worked for me so far I feel like it's helped me really like adjust my situation from the situation that I was originally put into and it's allowed me to make a lot of decisions for myself has capitalism worked for you yes it has yes absolutely there's a lot of corruption in capitalism but there is a lot of good that comes from it as well nobody Rises From The Bottom in communism except for corruption but with capitalism you can also Drive Innovation you can drive change you drive creativity uh the dollar drives it but we also see Innovations in medicine Health Care all because of capitalism well I'm glad it's working for you if it's working for you maybe teach other people how to do what you did uh worked my butt off but I mean people are doing that and it's not working for them too but I mean definitely helps to have a good work ethic in the first place doesn't mean the system will still work but I mean it's the best shot of it working capitalism work your butt off and you might make something of yourself right that's what I at least my personal motto well you guys that's a wrap for this episode in Denver Colorado if you guys enjoyed this make sure to give it a thumbs up subscribe for more and share it with your friends make sure to follow me and prigger you on all social medias and to stay up to date with everything that we're doing here head on over to the App Store and download the prageru app I'll see you guys in the next episode thanks so much I really appreciate it I follow you guys awesome we'd love to hear it man appreciate it hey guys thanks for watching this video prageru is a 501c3 organization help us keep our videos free by making a tax deductible donation today I appreciate your support
