Hi everybody. Welcome back to my channel. It's Coach Michelle Hong. Today is a fun day.
We are going to open up a cool surprise that I received in the mail. It's pretty crazy.
Colin's gonna help me. Thanks Colin. So this is what I got. What on earth is this?
This is polyglide. So now that I'm put together for the day I am actually gonna start off by
putting my polyglide ice together. So last week I was shipped this polyglide synthetic ice. It's
called a spin station by Jim. So Jim is the founder of polyglide ice and he was on Shark Tank and he
showed his amazing idea to the Sharks and they loved it. So now he's trying to spread more
awareness about polyglide ice within the figure skating community. It's very popular with the
hockey community. I've seen videos of hockey players have this synthetic ice in their house.
They have like a room dedicated to have a training facility in their house which is pretty cool. So
especially with quarantine it's the perfect thing for me because I'm missing skating so much and I
know that a lot of you out there are too. So I'm actually gonna put a coupon down below so if
anybody is interested in trying to you know fit something like this into your house as well then
you can go ahead and do that. There's gonna be a 15% off code for all of my followers so you could
use coachmichellehong in the discount section. It'll be really fun and awesome for you all to
try it out. So let's put this together. I'm gonna have a fun time. Let's see how this goes.
So before getting started I need to make sure that there's no
dust or dirt around. I want my polyglide to be on a clean surface so let's get started.
Change of plans people. We had to redo the design.
Moral of the story, super hard to put together guys. This was exhausting. The pieces are really
heavy but we made it through. Colin was able to help me. If I didn't have him this would go
nowhere. I had the pieces all different. They even fit geometrically in the kitchen. I thought
I was making rectangles and then I realized that they didn't fit because I have a hexagon shape
but it's done. We're gonna take a little breather. I'm gonna clean it because I filled it with like
these black marks from the mallet and then I'll try it out later. I'll catch you guys then.
