You Won’t Believe Our Day Off in Corpus Christi 🌴 | Shen Yun Dancers at the Beach 🚌

Hey, what's up, everybody? Today, we're at the beach. Yeah, beach! We just finished our performance in Corpus Christi, and now we have some time off for G-Zone to eat. And for us to play on the beach. Check it out, our bus is on the beach today. Which is pretty cool, right? And then Sam will tell some interesting facts about this place. I just know that right now, we're on like a huge island. It's called a barrier island. Basically, it's on the Gulf. And this island, the longest one in the world, kind of protects the main city of Corpus Christi from the ocean. Storms and stuff, whatever, right? Yeah, it's like a barrier. Okay, let's go check it out. Let's go check out the food first. Check out the nice array of snacks we have here. And there's also other food here, like fried chicken. These dates are really good, man. This is what makes it good. Okay, right here, we have our own charcoal pit master. His name is Jim Chen. Oh, that was not good, that was not good. Jisung, eat first or play first? Eat first. I'm not interested in playing. Eat, and then play, and then come back and eat. We have some grilled fish here, it's delicious. Juicy and still steaming. Charcoal grilled fish. I usually grill meat, but not fish. Let's try this. Wow, it's very well seasoned. The flavor is really good. And it's fish, it's different, but it's amazing. We have young Jay here, he's dual wielding. He has one marshmallow and one lamb skewer, or is it beef skewer? Very well seasoned. Dessert and entree at the same time, nice. Jisung, how is your experience so far? Food is very good. You've done a lot of eating. I'm so hungry, like from last night. For my health, I didn't eat last night. Oh, so you're baking up? Yeah, and it was so good. Jisung, we have something exciting later. We're gonna make a short later, right? Are you ready for that? What short? What do you mean, what short? Making some s'mores, man. On desserts, now? Nice and brown. I got a chocolate here. My chocolate is not really melted, but it should be fine. Oh my goodness, look at that. It's gonna explode. It blocks out the sun, but at the same time, it lets a breeze in, so it's not too hot inside. It's perfect. Oh yes, thank you. For you. Thank you so much. You're welcome. Oh my goodness. S'mores? Yeah! Take me to where the girls are making s'mores. Yeah, let's go. Hi. They're probably not used to being on camera. Okay, they're making some marshmallows right now. Oh wait, that's actually a pretty good s'more. You got the chocolate and graham crackers and everything. Show us your s'mores. You take the cracker, and you push it down like this. And then you smush it like this. Nice. Really yummy. Here we have some grilled fish. It was actually really, really good. The fish is called saba. This is called saba. Saba fish. There's like no bones inside. Most of the guys are playing soccer right now. Well, the whole time people were hanging out, Zhizeng has just been eating by himself. Have you talked to anybody? When are we gonna get to work with the YouTube short? Don't point at me, that's your job. Okay, he's got it. He's gonna start working. A few moments later. Faced out, eating. Thinking, working, okay, working. I see you're working really hard on your chin. What I'm saying is Zhizeng is always just eating and spacing out. Zhizeng is actually a very talented person in general, especially at choreography. So we've been starting to do these acting versus movie shorts, which you guys might have seen. Our point is to kind of interact with you guys more. So if you guys have comments on which shorts you want to watch, or types of movie versus stage acting shorts, just tell us, and then we can make shorts about it. Walking in. For me, it's actually one of the best beach experiences that I've had. I've toured to California, like Florida and everything, but today, it's one of the best beach experiences. How about you? It's definitely one of the cleaner ones. I'm from California, and the beaches are really dirty. And there's always a lot of people. But this one is very secluded, so that's really nice. And the food is good. I like how even the food area is really really clean. We have our own tent. Very sanitary, there's like no bugs, no flies or anything. It's a little bit windy, but it's nice. Even compared to last year, we went to some really nice beaches in Puerto Rico. But I kind of enjoyed this a little bit more. I like the vibes and everything. People are like building sandcastles, making s'mores. People are playing soccer. There's a bunch of flights over there. A lot of people are just sunbathing over there. Really nice. No matter where it is, if we're in like Paris, we would go see the Eiffel Tower or anything. Just let's get more experiences. Yeah, so I mean overall, it's just really nice. I've also never seen our buses on the beach though. They drove our buses directly onto the beach, which is pretty cool. We're actually scared to drive on because we never drove on sand before. Yeah, that's it. This is the vlog of our break day.
